Today we are going to explore the benefits and history of the adaptogenic herb Rhodiola Rosea. This sweet and bitter tasting herb has been used for thousands of years in Europe and Asia. Adaptogenic simply means it increases the body's resistance to chemical, biological, and physical stress. Apparently Vikings used this herb to increase their physical strength. “Viking roar” The species Rhodiola Rosea has been most researched so watch out for brands that use different species. You may not receive the same benefits as cited in the research articles as they have not been studied as extensive as Rosea. Since 1960, 180 pharmacological, phytochemical, and clinical studies have been published regarding this herb. The key phytochemicals are rosavin, rosarin, rosin, salidroside, and p-tyrosol and they are found in higher concentrations particularly in Rosea. There are other antioxidants, including proanthocyanidins, quercetin, gallic acid, chlorogenic acid and kaempferol. Due to the high antioxidant content of this herb it is good at neutralizing toxins which can help eliminate migraines and other symptoms of toxicity. This also plays a key role in slowing down the aging process. Rhodiola is a perennial flowering plant. It is grown in cold regions all around the world. It commonly grows on sea cliffs and mountains at altitudes around 10,000 feet. This altitude resistance can be passed on to us when we consume this herb. Which makes it a good supplement for airplane travelers. Some of its first recorded uses were in Tibet and China where over 30 species are found. Some of those towns were located at an altitude over 10,000 feet. It has even has been documented as Rodia Riza in the De Materia Medica by the Greek physician, Dioscorides, which dates back as far as 77 CE. Chinese emperors sent expeditions to Siberia to collect Rhodiola. It was highly regarded as they called it the Golden Root. Up in the Siberian mountain villages they gift bouquets of rhodiola to couples before marriage as a way to enhance fertility and ensure they have healthy children. Some independent testimonies of this herb on health forums claim that it makes some individuals really fatigue rather than energised. This can be a short term effect on those with ADHD, a lack of sleep and endocrine weakness. The sides effects could be from the body trying restore itself to a more balanced state. If it makes you tired try taking it before bedtime. If symptoms persist either stop taking it or seek professional advice. For others take it in the morning as it can be very energising and cause insomnia.

Atoms contain neutral neutrons and positively charged protons along with orbiting electrons that are negatively charged. A neutral atom contains equal parts protons (+) and electrons (-). Depending on the number of protons and electrons, the particles become either a positive or negative ion. Dr Noburo Horiguchi I do not condone this kind of research but the results are in so I’m going to share them with you. Dr Noburo Horiguchi planted colorectal cancer cells into 2 groups of rats. He had one group of rats exposed to negative ions for 15 minutes 4 times a day. In only two months the groups cancer not exposed to negative ions grew more than 3 centimeters in size. Whereas the other group that was exposed to these ions stayed the same. Dr Horiguchi says: “In general, rats would live healthy for about 10 months and then die. Normal rats with negative ions regularly exposed would live 2 months longer and die of old age when they die.” He then goes on to say the rat that wasn’t exposed to negative ions would die in about 2 months slowly in horrible agonies “facepalm”. I couldn’t agree any more with Dr Horiguchi’s statement. “Illnesses are mostly due to the acidification, oxidation and oxygen free radicals occurring in the body.” One of the main causes of illness is polluted air which is oxidizing and acidifying to our bodies. As technology evolves humans health seems to devolve due to our lack of recognition of health and the side effects of our current technology. We have wind and solar energy yet for some reason businessmen still insist on burning fuel. This has serious side effects on our health such as little to no negative ions in our air. It is no wonder we see an epidemic of cancer. You have the power to change that. Chose electric cars, solar and wind. With negative ions we can reduce acidosis and oxidation in our bodies, which greatly reduces the risk of disease including cancer as confirmed with his research on those poor little rats. Remember cancer is an acid condition. Horiguchi believes by solidifying healthy elements, incurable cancers and other diseases can disappear. “incurable cancers, cerebrovascular strokes or paraplegia.” Which is very plausible based on his research. Seeing is believing for most as it should be when it comes to science. Since negative ions are invisible, there are two experiments anyone can conduct at home to see physical results. Metal exposed to negative ions does not rust proving they do have an antioxidant effect. You might want to put a negative ion generator in your garage. Your car will be less likely to rust and will last longer “wink” and the same goes for your very own body!! I have decided to conduct my own experiment to show you guys what negative ions are capable of doing. As you can see, over a short period of time the smoke binds to the negative ions and becomes too heavy to stay in the air. Today we are going to talk about chaste tree berry. Vitex agnus castus, also known as other names such as monk's pepper, vitex, chaste tree, chasteberry, lilac chaste tree, hemp tree, sage tree, indian spice and abraham's balm. Chaste Tree is a perennial native to Central Asia and the mediterranean region. It is commonly found on riverbanks and nearby foothills. It is starting to become very common in the warmer mid to southern parts of the United States for garden landscapes. Throughout history chaste tree has been used to reduce sexual desires. Hence the word chaste which means to abstain from sexual desires. Don’t let that fool you! It is used to regulate hormones which means in some cases it will increase libido. You may have heard the common story that in the middle ages monks used chasteberry in the monasteries to reduce their libido. Hence the name monk’s pepper. It was mentioned in Pliny’s Historia Naturalis “Natural History”. Women used the leaves and stems as bedding “to cool the heat of lust” during the Thesmophoria which is a festival held in Greek cities. They did this to remain chaste when they were not in their husbands beds. We all know what happens during parties or festivals. Eh hm John Trevis mentioned it at the end of the thirteenth century to make men chaste. The Flower and the Leaf mentioned chaste. The Greek physician Hippocrates wrote about chaste saying: "If blood flows from the womb, let the woman drink dark wine in which the leaves of the chaste tree have been steeped." In the 16th century William Turner mentioned it for the seeds anaphrodisiac properties. Dioscorides, and Theophrastus also mentioned its use. Benefits The leaves, flowers, and berries can be consumed. The leaves have a more subtle effect so the berries are more commonly used instead. Some of the benefits of chasteberry are: Inhibit prolactin secretion by competitively binding to dopamine receptors, regulate pituitary gland function, hormonal acne, promotes urination, lowers libido, prostate cancer by regulating high testosterone, infertility, PMS and related symptoms such as cyclic mastalgia, PMDD, migraine headaches, menstrual irregularities, luteal phase defects, and hyperprolactinemia. Since chaste regulates pituitary gland function, it is used as one of the herbs in my protocol. The pituitary gland is often times called the master gland for its control over most of the endocrine system. The endocrine system plays an important role in health and longevity. If you haven’t yet, watch my video on Pituitary Weakness to learn more about the importance of the pituitary gland. Most people take chasteberry in the morning. This is done to help regulate the HPAT axis for healthier hormonal functions throughout the day. This will help you have energy during the day and melatonin at night for better sleep quality. With our overly sexually stimulated society it seems necessary to have some anaphrodisiac medicines for those that do not wish to be apart of the overly stimulated culture. Chaste is specifically good for those people. A study found that lower doses of the berry increased prolactin whereas higher doses decreased prolactin. This means the libido regulating effects may depend on the amounts of chaste consumed. Lower prolactin levels can cause higher levels of follicle stimulating hormone. Higher estrogen in women and higher testosterone in men. So if you want to lower your libido you will want higher prolactin levels by taking low doses of chaste. Be sure to experiment with doses and see what works best for you. Dosage will be slightly different for each individual. In the study they used extracts ranging from 120 mg, 240 mg and 480 mg daily. An open study was done to see the effectiveness of chaste in 1634 patients suffering from PMS. They did this by using a questionnaire to determine the effects on symptoms such as depression, anxiety, cravings and hyper dehydration. 85% of physicians rated the herb as good or very good, 81% of patients rated after treatment as very much or much better. The severity of mastodynia symptom complaints still present after 3 months were mostly less severe. Adverse side effects were only found in 1.2% of patients without any serious reactions. All in all it was found to be a safe high benefiting herb in all aspects of PMS symptoms.

Carbon is the most common element of our existence. Its the most studied and is the core of organic chemistry. Yet, activated charcoal is misunderstood for its potential medicinal uses but also side effects. Activated charcoal aka activated carbon has a unique ability to adsorb toxic substances and gases. Not absorb, adsorb. Adsorption means substances bind to the surface of carbon but it doesn’t absorb them like chia seeds absorb water. Activated carbon is edible and can be used as a supplement. Most activated carbon is made with wood, usually coconut shells and is even sometimes made with bone to make bone char. Unfortunately most people only know that carbon supplements have the ability to adsorb intestinal gas and odors. It definitely can be extremely useful in the case of having gas pains but there are more interesting and also potentially dangerous abilities this substance may have and it needs to be shared with the world. A study showed that charcoal may be able to reduce waste products containing nitrogen. Plus a low protein diet combined with activated charcoal benefitted the elderly with advanced kidney disease. Researchers at the Liver Failure Unit at University College London and the Royal Free Hospital are working on developing a charcoal medication because charcoal adsorbs toxins and neutralizes them allowing the body to excrete them. They found that carbon can be useful for livers damaged by alcohol abuse and obesity. Here's a cool tip if your teeth are in need of a whitening: Before reaching for a chemical laden teeth whitening product, try brushing your teeth with activated charcoal. Since it has the ability to adsorb various substances and is commonly used to decolorize sugars, it may help pull stains off of your teeth. Simply break open a capsule and put it on your toothbrush with a little bit of water and start brushing. The water is there to make sure the powder doesn’t become airborne and you accidentally inhale it. Don’t use it every day. Only on occasion when your teeth need a little extra cleaning. We don’t go to the dentist every day for a cleaning do we? Charcoal may stain fake teeth so be careful. There is an even more interesting form of carbon that has been discovered. This soccer ball shaped molecule made up of 60 carbon atoms may be one of the next leading antiaging substances of our time to hold us over until we find something better. C60 aka: Carbon 60, Buckyball, or Buckminsterfullerene. Buckminsterfullerene was named after Richard Buckminster Fuller for popularizing the geodesic dome. Harold Kroto, Robert Curl, Richard Smalley with graduate students James Heath, Yuan Liu and Sean O’Brien discovered the soccer ball shaped C60 molecule in the summer of 1985 at Rice University. Eleven years later Kroto, Curl and Smalley were given a nobel prize for their discovery. They vaporized graphite using a laser beam, the released carbon atoms are mixed with a stream of helium gas and then the gas is led into a vacuum chamber. It expands in the chamber and is cooled to temperatures above absolute zero. By using this laser method, they were able to develop C60. It has a more unique structure but it is very, very similar to activated charcoal in the sense that they are both a form of adsorbent carbon. An interview was done with Dr Moussa who is one of the main researchers. The study originally was done on rats to test the toxicity of C60 but it ended with something far greater. All the rats lived nearly twice as long as normal. It seems the researchers were eager to publish their findings but the last living rat was still alive nearly 6 years later. They decided to sacrifice the rat so they could publish their findings for the world to see. The study on C60 showed that olive oil increased the lifespan of rats by 18% whereas a combination of olive oil and C60 increased their lifespan by an astonishing 90%. They stated: “But, what is noteworthy is that at M38 all C60-treated rats were still alive. Thus, based on previous investigations , C60 should be the most efficient ever material for extending lifespan.”

The best place would be right in front of you where you wouldn’t think to look. People mow over this “weed” every time they mow their lawn. Today we are going to talk about Dandelion. Did you know a weed is simply a plant you don’t like? Dandelions grows abundantly and we spray tons of weed killers to get rid of them. All we are really doing is damaging ourselves and the environment by doing so. Imagine someone out there with liver disease spraying dandelion. The cure is right in front of them and they don’t even realize it. By the way Dandelions are perennial so you will be mowing and spraying them year after year. Taraxacum Officinale aka Dandelion. Dandelion’s name comes from the french term (dent de lion) which means tooth of the lion. The plant is native to Europe and Asia. It dates back quite far as there have been recordings of its use by the Anglo Saxon tribes of Britain whom are from the fifth century and the Normans in the tenth century. It was also mentioned in the works of the Arabian physicians in the tenth and eleventh century. Dandelion has been accepted worldwide as a liver tonic. The root is commonly used for the liver and gallbladder whereas the leaves are more so for the use of detoxing the kidneys and bladder. The roots can incredibly grow as deep as 15 ft into the ground. Dandelion has many uses. Here are some of them: Loss of appetite, upset stomach, gas, laxative, stimulates secretion of salivary and gastric juices, general digestive tonic, blood tonic, nutritive superfood, anemia, jaundice and other liver problems, skin beautifier, eczema, bruises, gallstones, joint pain, muscle aches, inflammation, kidney stones and diuretic. Dandelion leaves are great in a salad, smoothie or juice. They are rich in numerous vitamins and minerals, which is why it is such a great blood tonic. Those vitamins and minerals are: Vitamins A, C, E, B-complex, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium Phosphorus, Potassium, Sodium, Zinc, Copper, Manganese and a very high vitamin K content at 535%. If salads or juices aren't your thing, dandelion can be used as a coffee replacement. Everyone is aware of what dandelion is, making it an easy to forage herb. But wait just a second. There is another plant commonly called false dandelion. Before you go foraging make sure you learn the differences between the two so you don’t end up eating the wrong plant. I wasn’t searching for dandelion but I picked a wrong plant in my garden once. I swear I heard voices for the next two hours. O_o Dandelion has shown to be effective in treating high cholesterol and even melanoma. A study concluded that Dandelion reduced the extent of atherosclerosis by reducing oxidative stress and serum TC, TG, LDL-C and raising serum HDL-C. Dandelion is beneficial in preventing hypercholesterolemic atherosclerosis and reducing risk factors for coronary artery disease. Another study showed that dandelion root extract specifically and effectively induces apoptosis in human melanoma cells without inducing toxicity in noncancerous cells. Then you’ll want to tune into this video. Today we are going to talk about Stinging Nettle. Urtica dioica, aka common nettle or stinging nettle, is commonly found in the United States and is a popular herb in the world of herbalism. The origin reports online were actually kind of spotty since writers were mixing up different species of nettle. Nettle originates from all over the world including Europe, Asia, northern Africa, and western North America. It even dates back to being used in medieval Europe. Most people consider this herb a weed but to anyone that is health conscious, it is a jackpot to find when foraging. By the way a weed just means a plant that an individual doesn’t like. Your non edible flowers and pesticide filled lawns are weeds to me! I’m glad nettle stings back when you kill it! “Breathe, Smerk” Nettle has stinging hairs called trichomes that act like mini needles. These needles inject chemicals into the skin and cause an inflammatory response leaving a quite painful itchy rash. The rash is normally safe and is actually used to help relieve pain. Scientists suspect it does this by reducing inflammatory chemicals and interfering with the transmission of pain signals. Those chemicals are: acetylcholine, histamine, serotonin, moroidin, leukotrienes, and possibly more chemicals. It is odd to think that when you touch this plant it causes a histamine response but when you consume it, it acts as an antihistamine to reduce allergies. Nettle is mainly known and used for its kidney and allergy support but it should be considered for the incredibly long lists of other benefits. The benefits include: kidney diuretic and adrenal tonic to reduce water weight, bladder infections, kidney stones, stimulates the lymphatic system, enlarged prostate, asthma, antihistamine to reduce allergies, anti inflammatory, relieves pain and rheumatism, supports the musculoskeletal system, sciatica, increases bone density with the help of silica and other nutrients, nutrition superfood, anemia, nutritional deficiencies, improve the quality of hair and nails, multiple sclerosis, PMS, skin and hives, cardiovascular system, hemorrhage, influenza, gout, alzheimer's, bronchitis, bursitis, gingivitis, laryngitis, tendinitis, and reduce dandruff. Liver disease is one of the leading causes of death here in the United States. Today I’ll be giving you basic herbal tools to help combat those liver diseases. I want to make it very clear that these herbs will be rendered nearly useless if you do not change your eating habits. We need not a diet but instead, a healthy eating lifestyle of mainly fruits and vegetables in order for herbalism to work effectively. The cleaner foods we eat, the less burden that will be put on a diseased liver. Processed foods are most certainly not ideal for liver disease. From a natural perspective, most liver problems actually start in the GI tract where significant amounts of acidic wastes accumulate and the kidneys are not filtering out additional acidic wastes. A weakness of the GI tract and kidneys causes autointoxication. Or even better put causes acidosis. I would recommend that you work on your GI tract and kidneys alongside the liver. I’ll talk about that in detail later on. For now, let's get you started with some of the top liver supporting herbs backed by scientific studies. Burdock (Arctium lappa) A study was done with Burdock administered 3 times per day for 1 and 7 days to rats with ethanol and carbon tetrachloride induced liver damage. Burdock was found to significantly improve liver health caused by these damaging chemicals. They even found Burdock could restore glutathione content and histopathological lesions. They believe the antioxidants present in Burdock may be responsible for the hepatoprotective properties. Another study found Burdock can also prevent most of the liver damage caused by acetaminophen overdose in rats. Turmeric (Curcuma Longa) The benefits of this popular spice has made its way around the internet and for a good reason. Turmeric contains a bright yellow compound called curcumin. Studies show curcumin can reduce liver injuries in rats such as: injuries induced by ethanol, thioacetamide, iron overdose, cholestasis and acute, subchronic, and chronic carbon tetrachloride intoxication. Curcumin was even found to reverse some carbon tetrachloride induced cirrhosis. Simply put, the next time you head to the grocery store don’t forget to pick up a handful of fresh turmeric root or powdered turmeric online to help protect your liver. Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus) In some cases the liver can become infected causing Viral Hepatitis A, B, C, D and E. Astragalus is known in traditional chinese medicine as an immune system enhancer. In the modern world, studies suggest astragalus may have promising therapeutic uses for patients with viral hepatitis. Astragalus was even found to be more effective than regular antiviral medications in a clinical trial. Schizandra Berry (Schisandra chinensis) Schizandra is another Chinese herb that is well known to support phase 1 and phase 2 liver detoxification. A study found that schizandra berry was able to diminish alcohol induced fatty liver in rats and suggests it may be useful for humans experiencing alcohol induced fatty liver. This also includes potentially preventing non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) This common weed that everyone mows and sprays to death has shown to be protective against alcohol induced liver toxicity by increasing antioxidants and reducing the oxidation of fats. Before you decide to brutally murder precious natural medicine in your lawn, instead consider picking it and making a tea. For safety reasons, if you’re not absolutely sure of its identification it may be better to buy already prepared dandelion root. Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) Milk thistle is commonly used to treat viral hepatitis, heavy metal poisoning, and general liver diseases. Milk thistle contains silymarin which can reduce the production of free radicals and aid the liver in detoxification. Silymarin may block the binding of toxins in the liver to protect the liver. Silymarin was found to reduce liver injury caused by various toxins such as acetaminophen, carbon tetrachloride, radiation, iron overdose and more. Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) Lastly, we have licorice root. Licorice is another Chinese herb that is well known to help detoxify the liver.

If you answered yes to any of these questions, blue light exposure may be causing your symptoms. Today we are going to talk about blue light exposure and anti blue light glasses. Could the Lights from Modern Technology Be Considered a Stimulating Drug? And Could These Lights Cause Cancer? Light is a drug no one thinks about because it’s everywhere and is considered normal but it’s far from normal. Light bulbs have only been around since about the 1880s. These new lights can be very stimulating to the brain like a drug which explains why we end up on our computers and phones late at night questioning what happened to our precious time. Scientists originally thought it took 2500 lux of light to suppress melatonin but eventually learned 1 lux or less has the ability to suppress melatonin. One Lux is equivalent to one lumen per square meter. Lux is a form of measurement used to measure the amount of light falling on a specific area. Such as my photography lights illuminating on me for this video. Computer screens, tiny lights on alarm clocks and cable boxes, cell phones, dim lamps, night lights, led lights, moonlight and other lights at night are all good at tricking our brains into thinking it's daytime. Yes you heard right, even natural moonlight suppresses melatonin production. Our bodies have a very sensitive photoreceptive system making it crucial for us to protect ourselves from artificial light exposure. Photoreceptive simply means the detection, absorption and use of light. Since we are so sensitive to light, it makes me wonder what other mechanisms our bodies also have to know when it's night time. Otherwise, gamers would never get to sleep. This much light exposure may seem normal to society but in reality we’re overdosing on it like a drug. The scary part is that we can’t escape it unless we move deep into the center of nature which is obviously not practical these days. By Getting Less Restful Sleep from These Light Drugs: We’re not able to heal as well at night, we weaken our endocrine system and ultimately; cause fatigue, mood swings, lower our cognitive abilities, have trouble maintaining weight, create degenerative diseases and worsen preexisting diseases. Light Can Be Even More Harmful to Those That Work Night Shifts and Sleep During the Day. Bright lights late at night during work provide temporary stimulation for improved work productivity but in the long run may damage our bodies. Evidence suggests night shift workers such as nurses are at higher risk of developing breast and endometrial cancer due to less melatonin levels caused by late night light exposure. At night our bodies are supposed to create melatonin through natural circadian rhythms. The word Circadian derives from the latin phrase “circa diem” meaning “about a day”. Human circadian rhythms originally responded normally in nature where it gets dark out or better put, pitch black. Most likely in forests, caves, huts, and other forms of shelter; not always under moonlight. Wouldn’t you hide at night to stay safe in the wild while sleeping? I know would. And yes, I know fires are a factor too but that’s for a later discussion. Being exposed to light: Constricts the pupil, stimulates the brain to increase attention and wakefulness, suppresses melatonin production in the pineal gland, increases heart rate and body temperature and stimulates the production of cortisol. This is why so many people are stressed and stimulated late at night unable to fall asleep until 3 AM or even later. We need to expose ourselves to more darkness a few hours before going to bed. Now imagine we're safe in a cave and it’s completely dark. (Video fades black) Our brains sense the absence of light through our eyes to the third eye aka the (pineal gland) and begins to produce melatonin. Once melatonin is produced, we then begin to get tired and fall asleep. But as a side note, it’s a bit more complicated than that. Or in their case, live it. These people are quite secluded from society which means they barely have access to processed foods. Organic is all they have and they don’t even call it organic. To them its just food and that’s exactly how it should be. Even their sugary desserts are healthier than a common meal that most americans eat. This is because they make it from scratch with organic whole foods free of processed junk. Okinawans, the longest lived people say: Hara hachi bu which means eat until you are 80% full. This way they don’t overeat since it takes about 20 minutes for the brain to know that you’re actually full. They are restricting calories which may explain why they are the longest lived. It has been proven that calorie restriction can slow down the aging process and keep the toxic load down which is what really gets us. This does not mean you should go starve yourself into a twig and claim you will live longer. That’s really not the case. They still have a healthy weight and get enough nutrition including calories to get through the day. It is suggested to eat a large breakfast, medium lunch, and a light early dinner. In herbalism, the liver can cause sleep disturbances. If your liver is processing food at night, it could cause poorer sleep quality. Some of the foods mentioned that centenarians consume are: Mostly vegetables from the garden, daikon, bitter melon, durum wheat, bread, oatmeal, potato and sweet potato, rice, maize, tomatoes, a variety of spices, garlic, onion, peppers, ginger, turmeric, honey, dark red wine, a variety of beans and lentils, olive oil, fruit, nuts, fish, very little meat and dairy, soy such as tofu, teas such as green tea and mugwort and very little alcohol. As you can tell, these people are mainly plant based but they do eat some meat. Just to give you an idea, here is a very short list of what some of these foods do for your health. They all have some form of medicinal benefits which may explain how these people are living so long. Most of the foods aid in digestive health with their high fiber content and by supporting the growth of beneficial bacteria. If you are going to consume vegetables, I suggest medium to low oxalate vegetables. If you are going to consume soy it is best to consume fermented soy foods such as Natto, Miso and Tempeh. All of which will support the growth of beneficial bacteria. Unfermented soy contains goitrogens which suppress thyroid function. Staple Foods are nutritionally and calorie dense foods that are eaten on an almost daily basis to sustain life. Beans and lentils, rice, wheat, barley, and potatoes are examples. Fruits contain a wide variety of phytochemicals that help detoxify the body, nourish the body, are easy to digest and utilize and they help fight disease. This is why fruits are the best foods in the world. Turmeric and ginger are well known powerful anti inflammatory herbs also with additional medicinal benefits aiding in digestion, antibacterial, antiparasitic, and toxin removal. Garlic and onion are powerful natural antibiotics that can help keep the bacterial and parasitic load down as well. They stimulate the immune system, are anti inflammatory, and purify blood. Red Wine contains the well known resveratrol and other polyphenols. Although grapes are a health food, research suggests alcohol is not. Alcohol can damage the brain over time. Obviously be sure not to over drink. If there are any benefits from alcohol, it probably comes from the destressing and relaxing aspect of it. Not the brain shrinking aspect. Olives, leaves, and extra virgin olive oil contain oleuropein. Oleuropein is anti aging, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and is also cardioprotective and neuroprotective. Green Tea contains l'theanine which is relaxing to the body, its high in antioxidants, increases energy, and supports good mood. Honey helps fight colds and flu, fights infections, high in antioxidants, antiviral, antibacterial and strengthens the immune system.

Not from the dangers of sports but from the over the counter drug. I also remember how much of an arrogant asshole I was. Maybe it was just a lack of morality back then or a legitimate symptom from an over the counter drug. Today we are going to talk about Acetaminophen. Researchers at The Ohio State University found: “When you take acetaminophen to reduce your pain, you may also be decreasing your empathy for both the physical and social aches that other people experience.” “These findings suggest other people’s pain doesn’t seem as big of a deal to you when you’ve taken acetaminophen.” I watched a movie called The Giver. In the movie their society had no emotions and very simple lives that they perceived as fulfilling. Which is obviously easy to believe when you have no emotions. They couldn’t even see color nor did they have intimate emotional relationships with each other. Each morning they would take an injection that they were told is for their health. It turns out, that injection actually suppresses emotion. I’m starting to believe that injection contained acetaminophen. Some people claim to be empaths. They are really good at picking up on someone's emotions. Maybe its because they don’t take any of the 600 plus medications that contain the most common drug in the us which just so happens to be acetaminophen. 23% or 52 million adults in the united states consume drugs each week that contain acetaminophen. Not only does it dull physical pain, it also seems to dull psychological pain. Such as when you’re imagining someone else's pain or actually seeing their pain. It can even reduce the amount of joy you experience. Could this be part of why we are seeing desensitization in today's society? From another study they previously did: “participants who took acetaminophen reported less strong emotions when they saw both very pleasant and very disturbing photos, when compared to those who took placebos.” Baldwin Way said “Most people probably aren’t aware of how their emotions may be impacted when they take acetaminophen.” You actually may not notice that anything is wrong. It could be you causing the problems during an argument, not someone else. Isn’t there a quote something along the lines of: if you have a problem with one or two people, maybe it’s them. If you have a problem with everyone, then maybe its you? “Empathy is important. If you are having an argument with your spouse and you just took acetaminophen, this research suggests you might be less understanding of what you did to hurt your spouse’s feelings.” These researches conducted two experiments. The first experiment involved 80 college students. None of the students knew if they were taking a placebo or the drug. Half of the students drank a liquid with 1,000 mg of acetaminophen and the other half drank a placebo without the drug. They waited about an hour for the drug to take effect. They then read eight stories about people suffering different types of pain. One of the stories was about a person who suffered a knife cut down to the bone. After reading the stories they would rate them from 1 (no pain at all) to 5 (worst possible pain). They also rated how much the protagonists in the stories felt hurt, wounded and pained. The students who took acetaminophen rated the pain to be less severe compared to those who only received the placebo without the drug. The second experiment involved 114 college students. Once again, one group took a placebo and the other group took the drug. The students received four two-second blasts of white noise ranging from 75 to 105 decibels. After receiving the blasts of noise they would rate them on a scale of 1 (not unpleasant at all) to 10 (extremely unpleasant). They also were asked to imagine how much pain it would cause someone else put in the same situation. Once again the results showed that the placebo drug free group thought they were unpleasant. Whereas the acetaminophen group had less pain and also reduced their empathy for anyone else experiencing the unpleasant noise. An overdose of tylenol can cause death. It only seems plausible that these drugs could cause permanent damage making you permanently less empathetic. There is also a study linking autism to acetaminophen which I will talk about in another video. So basically those taking drugs with acetaminophen don’t care about others. Before reaching for a bottle of tylenol or any of the other acetaminophen containing drugs, remember it can make you less caring towards others.

Today we are going to talk about green tea. This herb is extremely popular in asian countries since green tea is native to southeast China. It was first recorded nearly 3,000 years ago and has been extensively used around the world ever since because it makes a unique delectable cup of tea and contains numerous healing properties. Oh and because it is by far the healthiest natural source of caffeine. Green tea is identified by numerous names such as: Tea plant, tea tree (not to be mistaken for the other tea tree), tea shrub, matcha, sencha, pu-erh, black tea, white tea, yellow tea, and the commonly known green tea. Most people identify these teas as separate plants but in fact all of these names mainly come from two varieties: Camellia sinensis var and Camellia sinensis var. Assamica. Sinensis for Chinese teas and Assamica for Indian teas. I will list more tea names from these plants further in this video but for now let's learn a few other things. The name Camellia comes from honoring the pioneer botanist Georg Joseph Kamel a jesuit missionary, pharmacist and naturalist who studied plants, minerals, animals, insects, snakes and monsters. Kamel died at age 45 in 1706 at Manila, Philippines. Kamel did not discover green tea. In fact, he never went to Japan or China and actually may have never seen the plant Camellia. Since Kamel was so reputable in Europe for introducing his philippine nature work to the Europeans, Carl Linnaeus decided to honorably name the plant after Kamel or (Camelus in Latin). Linnaeus first considered calling it Thea sinensis in the first edition of his published book Species Plantarum in 1753. Thea means tea in Latin. In his second edition of the book, he called Green tea Thea viridis and Black tea Thea bohea (bohee). Viridis means green and Bohea means black. My green tea experience Green tea is truly one of my favorite herbs of all time. I have been consuming it since I was nearly 10 years old. During my teen years when I was obsessed with playing drums, I was drinking green tea every single day. It helped me manage the mental and physical stress of practicing and improved my creativity. Now to this day, I still drink a cup of green tea on occasion before writing, editing videos, practicing kung fu and on some occasions, still playing drums !m! !m!. I consume green tea before performing a task because it contains caffeine for motivation and the calming amino acid L-Theanine. This leaves the body in a relaxed yet alert state to focus on whatever task is at hand. For this reason, we can consider green tea to be a mild nootropic and a productivity enhancer for whatever task you have at hand. Green tea contains various phytochemicals such as: polyphenols including epicatechins, epigallocatechin gallate aka (EGCG), epicatechin gallate, and flavonols including; quercetin, kaempferol, and myricetin. For this video we will stick to the commonly known and used Reishi: Ganoderma lucidum which is one out of the 219 species of ganoderma. During the Han dynasty around (206 BC - 9 AD), the mushroom’s name Lingzhi was first recorded. Ling means “spirit” or “soul” and zhi means plant or in this case fungi. Lingzhi is depicted to contain a mixture of spiritual potency and immortality. It symbolizes health and wellbeing, success in life, longevity and divine like power. Reishi was given its first binomial name Boletus lucidus in 1781 by the English botanist William Curtis. In 1881, Petter Adolf Karsten gave reishi the genus name Ganoderma. The botanical name ganoderma lucidum comes from greek and latin words. The greek word ganos means “shining” and derma means “skin”. Ganoderma literally translates to “shining skin”. The Latin word lucidum means “shining”. Put together: Ganoderma lucidum roughly translates to: shining skin shining. How about we call it shiny fungi? Origin Over 2,000 years ago the first written description of reishi was in the book Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing during the Han Dynasty around (206 BC - 9 AD). It is thought that purple wild reishi from the white snake legend is the first of the reishi species. Possibly originating in the Changbai Mountains. Some people also believe reishi and other wood eating mushrooms came to earth from other planets deep in the universe by meteors or cosmic winds. They believe it is of its own form of intelligence aiding in the development of ecosystems by creating healthy soil. In return, allowing other plants to grow. It is thought that these extraterrestrial mushrooms are gathering tree’s levitational energy, ormus minerals, information about earth and upgraded genetics from its experiences on earth. Hmm? Interesting... History Reishi has been found in paintings, carvings, buildings, on women's accessories, and on furniture such as the emperor's throne. Since reishi was so rare and strongly valued for its medicinal benefits in China, it was forbidden to common people and mainly only available to the rich and privileged in China. You can find reishi art at the Forbidden City in Beijing carved into stone holding the boundaries of the emperor's throne, on the emperor's throne and on the heart chakra of the last emperors robe, depicting its value to emperors over common people. Even the folklore regarding reishi says that if someone was to find the mushroom, they wouldn’t tell those closest to them because it was so valuable. This medicine may be forbidden due to the fact that only two to three trees per ten thousand have the mushroom growing on them. We don’t have to worry about that in our time thanks to modern technology. Reishi mushrooms are now mass produced by growing them on hardwood logs, woodchips and sawdust. I still urge you to learn about foraging reishi in your environment to reap the benefits of wild medicine. It is very rewarding to find wild reishi in the woods. Even though it is readily available in stores, reishi can still be one of the more expensive supplements on the market. Especially reishi mushroom spore oil, costing around $150 for a 30 day supply. I fell for the bias opinions that state you have to starve candida in order to remove it. Experimenting with these theories ended up starving my body and flourishing the growth of candida even more. This video isn’t about what candida is but rather, why it occurs in excess and how I believe it should be treated. This video will be quite brief. I will go into more detail in my book and in future videos. For now, let’s start here. Sigh… I’ve been putting off making this video for a long time, about two years. Someone asked me if I would talk about it so I will in hopes that no one else will dangerously experiment with candida diets like I did. I’ve been avoiding to make this video for the sheer fact that I know my comments section will be flooded with emotionally fueled bias opinions. Opinions from people that get easily offended by someone that doesn’t agree with them. Mainly because they are so deeply invested in their ideologies regardless of how destructive they are. This is such a touchy subject because people have become emotionally invested in the idea of “candida” rather than the actual cause of it. Candida is just a side effect of another ailment. There are some people out there that will appreciate my perspective. This video is for you. The ones who have already tried fasting, fad diets, candida cleanse supplements and other protocols but still continue to have a white coated tongue and other undesirable symptoms. Its also for those that are not sure which candida protocol to chose from and whom do not want to be fooled by the severely restricting diets and protocols that are out there. I experimented with them so you don’t have to. Candida causes cancer? Candida has become a trigger word. People freak out when they hear about it. When you first start out learning about health, candida seems like the cause of everything and is the end of the world! There are endless amounts of forums and articles talking about it, almost intentionally inducing fear. Unfortunately some of the most popular candida forums are the most damaging to our wellness. Some of these forums claim that you will develop cancer if you have candida or your life is doomed in general if you have it. I think that is a very inappropriate way of looking at things without developing an in depth understanding as to why that could be and if its even true. Arguably, in some cases candida can indeed make people feel equivalent to having cancer but we can’t blame it entirely on causing that run down feeling. By the way, I don’t think candida causes cancer. The possible cause of cancer is just so coincidentally nearly one of the same as the cause for candida but a bit more extreme. I suspect the more plausible cause of most cancers is an accumulation of wastes (mainly from man made chemicals), weak endocrine glands and a weak immune system. But don’t hold me on that statement alone. There are tons of factors as to why we develop cancer. I will not be talking about it in this video but the premise behind my perspective of candida is coincidentally nearly identical. What causes candida? So what do I believe causes candida and why is it so hard to get rid of in some cases? Emotional, internal and external stress, excessive antibiotic use, pharmaceuticals, heavy metals, processed foods, pesticides, GMOs, environmental pollutants, gut dysbiosis, SIBO, being born in a hospital and c sections which reduces beneficial bacteria exposure, not being exposed to nature's soil at a young age, weak immune system, weak HPAT axis (HPAT means; hypothalamus, pituitary, adrenal and thyroid), infectious diseases such as lyme disease and coinfections, parasites, biofilms, and most importantly, weak eliminative organs causing an accumulation of wastes mainly in the bowels and the lymphatic system. I believe the key here is to not directly focus on candida but instead focus on the body as a whole system that needs support.

Today we are going to talk about Bananas. Even though most berries we know of today are mainly tiny and round, not all of them are. True berries are simple fruits that stem from one flower and one ovary, usually with multiple seeds and that's exactly what a banana is. Oh and get this, Strawberries are not classified as berries! In the botanical sense anyhow. The average person in the UK eats 10 kg or 22 lbs of bananas a year which is about 100 bananas. In the US, Bananas are the most popular fruit right above apples. In 1970, 7 pounds of bananas were consumed per person. This raised to 10.4 pounds in 2010. However, other sources say the average american eats roughly 25 pounds but in all honestly I just don’t see it. “Fat people” I personally eat about 730 bananas a year, which really isn't that much. Some fruitarians eat about 3000 or more a year. Bananas were first domesticated in Southeast Asia and Papua New Guinea. Archaeological and Palaeo-environmental evidence at Kuk Swamp in the Western Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea proposes that the cultivation of bananas dates back as far as 7,000 years ago and possibly as far back as 10,000 years ago. There are also text references to bananas in Islamic poems and hadiths near the beginning of the 9th century. In the 10th century there are texts about bananas in Palestine and Egypt. It then goes into North Africa and Muslim Iberia. If this is true, then the likelihood of humans using fruit as a staple food for thousands of years is even more promising. Those soft, sweet and nearly seedless bananas you are eating today are mainly from the cavendish group. Named after William Cavendish. The cavendish plant was grown in the Derbyshire estate’s hothouse in 1830 over 180 years ago. Allegedly this happened because the head gardener Joseph Paxton was apparently inspired after seeing a banana plant on a chinese wallpaper in one of the 175 rooms in the home. He then got access to an imported banana species. I actually got into hydroponics after I saw someone grow a dwarf banana tree hydroponically. I thought it was so cool!! That was also the week I learned Miracle Gro does not work as hydroponic nutrients. Lol There is a threat to this food that us health enthusiasts love so much and its called the Panama disease. In the 1950’s the Gros Michel Banana was nearly destroyed worldwide by the Panama disease. Panama disease is a fungus that is resistant to conventional agricultural fungicide. Cavendish is Asexual which means all of the plants are cloned descendants from one plant. That is why you don’t spend your time spitting out seeds when eating one. The seeds are nearly microscopic now in most types of commercial bananas. Since they are clones, they cannot develop a resistance to the disease. Once the disease figures out how to kill one plant, it can then kill all of them. If you’re going to eat one fruit you may want to pick bananas as they seem to be close to a perfect food. Bananas are relatively nutrient and calorie dense so I consider them a class 1 superfood in my book. This is the reason why the food is commonly used as a staple food for health enthusiasts such as freelee the banana girl who has eaten over 50 bananas in a day! Freelee if you eat 30 a day that's around 10,000 a year! When bananas are unripe and green they are actually starchy compared to ripe bananas that contain simple sugars. This means green bananas contain polysaccharides which are complex carbohydrates composed of long chain sugars. They take longer to absorb and be utilized by the body. This can be useful information for diabetics that have trouble with simple sugars that still want to receive the tremendous list of health benefits from fruit. The downside to this is that unripe bananas are harder to digest and contain less antioxidants compared to spotted ripened ones. That starch can also act as a prebiotic to feed beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract. Being a prebiotic alongside fiber greatly aids in digestion. A randomised controlled trial was done to learn the effects of banana consumption of faecal microbiota.The study revealed that the banana group had significantly lower gastrointestinal symptoms compared to controls. The cabal weaponized our food and we are okay with it. Well 90% of humans are. Then there is a small percentage of people I like to call star children. Be warned though, we are considered mentally ill by the societal minds. We are the ones that refuse to live for consumption and destruction. We live minimally, utilizing technology to improve lives rather than destroy them. This is called practicality. We don't live in giant homes just to sit there and watch Netflix in a 10ft radius out of the 10,000 square ft we hoard with things dug from the earth and shaped into shiny things to stimulate our animal senses. Like a cat chasing a laser. Star children grow their own food. When they can't grow their own they make sure they do not purchase the weaponized food. They do this because they do not like the feeling of desensitization. Star children prefer enhanced cognitive capabilities in hopes to discover their higher selves we call a soul. Discovering the soul is the main goal that star children have. Consuming materialistic items buying things we don't need is useless to us. We don't need flashy toys, fast cars or big homes to satisfy us. To us it is impractical. We only use what we need and when we want extra for human pleasures we make sure it does not harm others. This is a universal law that we try to follow and it is I quote “do no harm”. Practicality is very simple and can be taught to anyone that is willing to learn. We make sure those we love with are fed before we are, have clothing and are healthy. We make sure our home is safe and our items are not too expensive and are practical. We do not accumulate things that are of no use to us. We make sure everything we own has a reason to be owned. If it does not we refuse to be in its presence. As long as our items are used for good and do no harm to others, we accept them. We do not cling to things because we know our goal is to find our soul, not to collect the dirt we stand on. Instead we use that dirt to nourish and take care of our vessels that we call bodies. This does not mean we do not have fun. In fact it is quite the opposite. We live to love and to play, live to discover and to learn, we live to be alive, we live to thrive. Life here may be currently the worst of times but it is also the best of times. We do that by making it the best of times with positive intentions. Do no harm and live for a better tomorrow. Follow yin and yang. Use not too little or too much to live a happy life. Earth is currently our home, we need some help, just education. From there we will be the most cherished creatures in existence. I will end this with one last thing. The cabal is not the storm, the righteousness of light is the storm and us star children will stop the evil. We will prevail, we will win and your money will never control us again.

Are you broke and starving? Well then you’ve come to the right place! In this video I will show you how not to starve on a vegan and vegetarian diet, so let’s get started. With good marketing, superfoods make up most of the vegan lifestyle which leads to spending hundreds and even thousands of dollars on food. This is the common misconception that being vegan has to be expensive when in fact it doesn’t. Though superfoods are extremely beneficial to your health, so is not starving through calorie restriction from lack of money. Not everyone can afford to buy the expensive superfoods. There are affordable options to eat healthy which doesn’t rely on expensive goji berries for nutrition sources. There are foods that I consider class 1 superfoods. A true class 1 superfood is a staple. Staple foods can be eaten almost daily as a reliable food source. They are lower in price, high in calories, vitamins and minerals. Going vegan or just looking for healthier foods does not have to be complicated. The foods I’m about to list are relatively cheap and are accessible throughout most grocery stores in the US. These foods are: Dates Coconuts Bananas Rice Potatoes Sweet Potatoes Beans & Lentils and some nuts and seeds All of these foods are class 1 superfoods or “staple foods” that don’t suck your bank account dry and they have more nutritional value than low priced processed foods. Make these foods apart of your main meal alongside fruits, vegetables and maybe some eggs and a little bit of meat here and there if you're into that sort of thing. If you follow these simple steps you won’t starve yourself like most people do just trying to eat healthier than the standard american diet. But then again it's debatable that they are starving as well nutritionally with empty calories. Try to buy them in bulk to get discounts. You can literally buy a 20 pound bag of rice for around $1 or less per pound. If you’re worried about taste, buy some single spices or mixes. You can get turmeric powder for a little under a dollar per ounce from Sungazer Herbs. Foods are cheaper when they are in season. An example would be the 5 pound box of blueberries I found for about $8 dollars. It made a good snack for about a week until this happened…. Instagram Video Those local blueberries tasted amazing compared to the off season berries. Count out how much each food costs and subtract it from your monthly grocery income. Get as mathematical as you possibly can. Be sure to even count daily calories with cronometer.com so you know exactly how much you’re eating per day. Compare grocery store prices before making one store your go to place. Some stores even have a discount section for fresh produce that appears to be going bad when in fact they are just fine, especially bananas. Costco is starting to sell lots of affordable foods, most of which are organic. They have frozen fruits and large bags of leafy greens that are good for the price. Most of the foods you see in this video are actually from Costco. I’m not affiliated with them but I’m more than willing to mention the company if they keep adding affordable organic options. Watch out though I’m sure a lot in there is indeed gmo. Grow a garden!! Try to find a “CSA” Community Supported Agriculture program in your town. This way the farmers get a guaranteed income and you get guaranteed healthy raw food each week. Prepare all of your food for 1-3 days in advance. That way you won’t waste money eating out. This means you will have to invest in some tupperware. Glass is prefered. Just… don’t drop it… Drop Tupperware Use BPA free plastic if you’re clumsy or traveling a lot. A nutribullet cup can store one blended meal for the day that won't be as susceptible to oxidising when you're out. Make your own breads. They can last a week without going bad so its quick and easy food. Just slab some nut butter and jelly on it. You can make bread with 5 ingredients or less. Seriously its not that hard. Its a little bit of a cause for concern when you find out that there is a connection between this drug and autism in children. Today we are going to briefly talk about a new study connecting autism to acetaminophen. I think we can all agree that an epidemic of autism and other neurological disorders is happening in our present time. Something doesn’t seem right. It doesn’t seem natural for so many people to be improperly developing and getting so sick. I believe most of these conditions we are seeing in this day in age are mainly man made and is rarely caused by nature on its own. One example of this would be a new study in Spain showing that the use of acetaminophen may be part of the cause. The over the counter drug Acetaminophen aka Paracetamol is commonly used by women during pregnancy. The drug is mainly used to reduce fever and pain. The study aimed to examine the health effects of early life exposure to acetaminophen. Expectant mothers were interviewed by trained evaluators using standardized questionnaires twice at weeks 12 and 32 of pregnancy. In one of the questions they asked the mothers is if they were taking any medication, sporadically or continuously a month before becoming pregnant or during pregnancy. Based on the answers in the questionnaires, they determined how many trimesters they were exposed to acetaminophen. Neuropsychological development was tested on the children at different ages up to 5 years of age, using various tests to determine if the drug had any effect. Over 40% of the children were exposed to acetaminophen. 66% of the reports were used for pain relief. The results found that exposure to the drug was associated with lower attention function development along with a greater risk for ADHD-DSM-IV hyperactivity/impulsivity symptoms compared to non-exposed children. Male children showed more autism spectrum symptoms compared to females. There are numerous ways acetaminophen could have harmed the body causing neurodevelopmental issues. All of which will have to eventually be studied to confirm them. Males could have been affected differently because acetaminophen may be able to disrupt the endocrine system affecting testicular function and the production of androgens. The male brain may also be more vulnerable to stressors early in life compared to females. Stimulation of the endocannabinoid system which could potentially affect neuronal differentiation, axonal migration, synapse positioning or immune modulation, toxicity due to deficits in sulphation capacity which is (reduced during pregnancy and in some autistic children), and oxidative stress. Besides all the complexity involved in the study, it did indeed show a connection to autism that we should all be aware of. Not only does it affect brain development, it also affects empathy and the amount of joy you experience. You may want to look into natural plant based pain relievers instead of acetaminophen. Sadly adolescents are consuming these beverages. Giving these drinks to adolescents is damaging their hearts before they have even fully developed. If you don’t believe me when I say young people are consuming these beverages then you live under a rock or need to get out of the basement more often. The overdose symptoms of caffeine include: Jitters Nausea Anxiety Restlessness and Nervousness Increased heartbeat Heart palpitations (cardiac arrhythmia) Insomnia Sweating Dizziness Vomiting and even Cardiac arrest The main problem is that caffeine stimulates the nervous system and essentially puts the body in overdrive. Over stimulating the body eventually wears it down. The endocrine system has to deal with the stress and eventually becomes weakened causing fatigue and immune disorders. It especially tapps the adrenals. I have a feeling these beverage companies try to neutralize the tapping effects with adaptogens such as ginseng. Ginsengs are regarded as the greatest herbs in the world of herbalism for increasing youthfulness, mainly through the endocrine system. But if used improperly they can be very dangerous. Ginsengs are commonly found in energy drinks. Ginseng is a stimulant and when its added with caffeine they both begin to over stimulate the body and wreak havoc on the heart and other systems. Ginseng is meant to be taken with other herbs that can counteract possible negative effects. It is also supposed to be used as a caffeine replacement on its own, not with excessive caffeine in those energy drinks. Side effects of too much ginseng are: diarrhea, nausea, headaches, nose bleeds, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, breast pain, dry mouth and lips, excitation, fidgeting, irritability, restlessness, tremors, palpitations, blurred vision, dizziness, insomnia, increased body temperature, edema, decreased appetite, seizures, convulsions, delirium, dizziness, itching, bleeding, and fatigue. This is why it is very important that ginseng is taken in moderation and in the care of a health professional such as experienced herbalists. When used properly Ginsengs can greatly improve wellness but in these energy drinks, not so much. As they say… Ying and Yang. Up to 13 teaspoons of processed sugar can be found in one can. As I have mentioned in previous videos. Processed sugar stripped from nature's phytochemicals cannot function properly in the body. Processed white sugar without antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes in my opinion can be very dangerous. Have you ever experienced negative effects from energy drinks? Leave a comment below with your experience. The University of Adelaide at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in Australia conducted a study and found that 250 mL of a sugar free Red Bull raised the blood pressure in 30 students in just an hour! It was also found to increase the stickiness of their blood, potentially raising the risk of heart attacks or strokes. A study was done with 667 college students up to 56 days or 25,616 person days to see the effects of energy drinks. The study found that they had lower sleep quantity and quality that night of consumption. With of course tiredness the next day. Once again in the natural health industry this is what we call tapping the adrenals. They should conduct the study again to see their kidney, adrenal and lymph health at the end of 56 days. A study collected 612 completed questionnaires from adolescents. 33% of them frequently consumed energy drinks. They were more likely to be involved in high risk behaviours and consume other beverages with caffeine. They reported having headaches, anger and increased urination. Some of which were more likely to require medical evaluation for headaches and difficulty breathing. The more frequent consumers had the belief that these beverages could help them do better in school, sports, help them stay up at night, make them concentrate and focus better or the drinks are just for fun.

These may be signs you have a pituitary weakness. Today we’re going to talk about the pituitary gland and what you can do to treat pituitary weakness naturally. INTRO For the longest time we thought genetics played the main role in our health but that has drastically changed with Epigenetics being brought to the mainstream. This brings up an interesting question: Could internal and external environments affect our height? I suspect yes! From what my mentors and I have observed, it appears different environments have a larger impact on our bodies than genetics. Admittedly, in some cases genetics can be difficult to manage even with epigenetics. Although, you wouldn’t believe some of the extreme acidic and genetic illnesses that have been resolved through changing their environment. How many of you have seen short families and immediately assumed genetics was the main cause for their height? What if other factors were actually at play? Such as these families living the same lifestyle. Eating the same food, family stress, being exposed to the same bacteria, chemical pollutants and other environmental factors. Or simply put, following the same footsteps as each other. I’m suggesting that lifestyle has a larger impact on the growth and development or destruction of the human body than genetics. Poor nutrition, toxicity, weakened immune systems, and an imbalanced endocrine system from the environment can have a huge impact on the quality and size of our bodies. By changing your environment you can change your whole body for optimal health. There are two main types of pituitary weaknesses. The first one is Hypopituitarism. Hypopituitarism also known as pituitary insufficiency is a “rare” disorder when the pituitary gland doesn’t produce enough of its hormones. There are way too many underdeveloped people to say this condition is by any means rare. It’s more common than you may think. Once you become aware of what pituitary weakness is, you will then begin to see it in yourself or in others around you. Just like I did when I learned about pituitary weakness. I thought to myself “Oh my gosh I can’t stop seeing this epigenetic disorder everywhere I go!”. Hypopituitarism can lead to poor body development causing symptoms such as: small breasts, short height and small body mass in general, low bone density, hoarseness in voice such as high pitch or other changes, menstrual irregularities, low sex drive, hormonal imbalance, impotence, weight gain or loss, poor athletic performance, weak muscles, fatigue, dizziness, clumsiness, inability to focus, vision problems, depression, anxiety, hair loss, low blood pressure, low blood sugar, inability to stay warm, sensitivity to the cold, and many more symptoms. Next we have Hyperpituitarism which is the opposite of hypopituitarism. Hyperpituitarism is when the pituitary gland secretes too many hormones causing an overgrowing body and other undesirable symptoms. Hyper secretion of pituitary hormones may cause: Cushing's syndrome, acromegaly, gigantism, abnormally tall height, thick bones, enlarged: nose jaw, tongue, heart, hands and feet, oily and leathery skin, excessive perspiration, slanting eyes, congested sinus, hollow or deep sounding voice, heart failure, hypertension, muscle weakness, joint pain, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, fatigue, needing too much sleep, sleep apnea, mood changes, impotence, low libido, excess facial hair in women, absence of menstrual cycles, weight gain, vision problems, and many more symptoms. Some of you out there that have a pituitary weakness may only have a select few symptoms that are not severely debilitating such as those hypo and hyper conditions. They also used charcoal as a smokeless fuel. 1500 BC: The first known recorded medicinal uses of activated charcoal was in the egyptian papyri. They used it to adsorb odors from rotting wounds and the gastrointestinal tract. As you can tell, activated charcoal has been used as medicine for quite a while. 400 BC: During this time period, charcoal was used to treat epilepsy, chlorosis and anthrax. Hippocrates and Pliny knew charcoal could be used as medicine as long as it’s prepared properly. Pliny specifically wrote in his epoch work Natural History (Vol. 36): “It is only when ignited and quenched that charcoal itself acquires its characteristic powers, and only when it seems to have perished that it becomes endowed with greater virtue.” 450 BC: Wrecked Phoenician trading ships were found to have barrels used for storing drinking water. These barrels were charred on the inside to create charcoal and in return kept the water safe for drinking. Also around this time, Hindu documents refer to charcoal and sand as filters to purify drinking water. 157 AD: Claudius Galvanometer created 500 different medical treatises.
