The demand for erectile dysfunction drugs have spiked recently & so have the number of fake drugs. Dr. David Samadi explains what men should be aware of & how to spot fake medication. As a Urologist, Dr. David Samadi claims that he has seen this situation frequently as patients have difficulty getting drugs like Viagra, Cialis & Levitra. Patients resort to purchasing drugs online from overseas vendors without consulting their doctor first & unfortunately almost 80% of these purchases are counterfeits containing dangerous components such as rat poison. Dr. David Samadi stresses on the importance of looking for the VIPPS symbol displayed by online vendors as these are verified vendors with real medication. Sometimes medication purchased without a doctor’s consultation can lead to complications as patients may not need the medication in the first place. Erectile Dysfunction could be caused by diabetes & hypertension. Younger men experiencing ED should also be aware that it could be a sign of heart disease. _________________________________________________________________ Dr. David Samadi is the Chairman of Urology & Robotics Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital. Tagalog/Eng/Nat Viagra, the headline grabbing anti-impotency pill, is now on sale in the Philippines. Pfizer, who manufacture the drug, have started delivering to local drugstores in Manila, two weeks after the local Bureau of Food and Drug gave its approval for its sale in the country. Pharmacies in the Philippines have finally begun to receive their stocks of Viagra. The manufacturer Pfizer, started deliveries of the new wonder drug at drugstores in Manila this week. Some stores already began selling the drug on Tuesday. With Viagra becoming the talk of the town, drugstore owners are anticipating a huge demand. Pharmacy owner Bhoyette Vizconde sold five tablets on the first day. SOUNDBITE: (English) "I already hoard (laughs) stocks because I'm really expecting that being the first to have Viagra here in our vicinity, I'm sure a lot of people will come here and inquire or buy Viagra." SUPER CAPTION: Bhoyette Vizconde, Owner of Marcelo's Pharmacy Pharmacy Plus received its first supply early this week. Owner James Sandoval, who owns several stores in the capital, put a few boxes of the pill on the shelf to show clients that the drug is now available. But before the drug was put on sale in his stores, Sandoval issued a memo to all his store managers to ensure that safety precautions are practiced before the drug is dispensed to patients. The B-F-A-D says it is important the pill is only sold to patients who come with a legitimate prescription from their doctors. Each pill comes with a leaflet giving warnings of possible side-effects if the drug is not taken properly. Pfizer warned that the drug should not be taken by people being treated with nitrate-based medication for heart problems. While he expects a huge demand for the drug, Sandoval said Filipino men may be a little shy of asking for the drug themselves. He says the men here will probably not want to admit they need Viagra and so he is arranging a home delivery service to put them out of their misery. SOUNDBITE: (English) "Because maybe at the secrecy of their own home, they can acquire the product because they might be too embarrassed to come forward to admit that they have a sexual problem. Any person that comes forward asking about the product - they're so defensive, they say right away "Hey listen I don't have a problem with this. I'm just inquiring". That goes to tell you how sensitive the issue is." SUPER CAPTION: James Sandoval, Owner of A-B Sandoval Drugstore Dr. Jesus Mendoza is a local doctor who has been checking out the testing of the Viagra drug. SOUNDBITE: (English) "Well, I was pretty excited and wanted to find out whether it was really going to work. Of course, there was some degree of skepticism at first. But when we started seeing back the patients who were on the study, then it was confirmed that my gosh, this works." SUPER CAPTION: Dr. Jesus Mendoza, Urologist In a press conference early this month, Pfizer said the approval from B-F-A-D came after they completed a six-month study of its effects on 500 men from six Asian countries, including the Philippines. The man who discovered Viagra, Dr. Peter Ellis, was in Manila last week and spoke of how his drug differs from the others already available in the market. SOUNDBITE: (English) "And I think the beauty of the drug is that it works to enhance the natural process. All the other products that are out there, you take the product, you get an erection. But Viagra, you take the product, you don't get an erection but it's only when sexually aroused. So it's basically enhancing a perfectly natural function and restoring it back to normal." I was recently prescribed Lisinopril for high blood pressure. I had a terrible side effect with a bad dry cough. The cough was 24/7. It can persist for weeks even if you stop taking Lisinopril. Stay away from this medicine if possible and ask your doctor for an alternative.

ED Medications - what works and why for erectile dysfunction (impotence) medication Free report - http://healthyat60plus.com/erectiledysfunction Questions - call me at 609-410-4790 Not all treatments have to come from a doctor’s prescription pad. There are natural remedies for ED (erectile dysfunction) that work just as well. So stop suffering from impotence and regain your sexual health. Today we're going address ED medications. If you watch any TV then you’re very familiar with the Cialis and Viagra commercials targeted toward men with erectile dysfunction. Nitric Oxide research played a critical role in the development of these two products. Now for many of you I've introduced the word phrase Nitric Oxide, which you've never heard of before or may be vaguely familiar with. Outside your body nitric oxide is considered an environmental pollutant but inside your body it's a signaling molecule. What this means is that it causes something else to occur. And, without it that event cannot take place. For men nitric oxide is absolutely necessary for an erection. In fact, the bottom line is this: No NO No Sex! Little nitric oxide production and you will have a little to weak erection. As the medical and pharmaceutical community came to understand this need for nitric oxide to initiate and maintain an erection they looked for ways to address this problem. To help you understand how ED medications are used to address erectile dysfunction it's helpful to understand a little bit about male anatomy. The male organ contains two cigar-shaped structures called corpora cavernosa that run the length of the organ. Arteries bring blood into these two structures with veins carrying the blood away. In a non-erect state, the blood flow from the arteries is restricted while the veins are open to drain blood away. When a man becomes aroused, the brain sends a signal to reverse this process. The arterial blood vessels open up so that pressurized blood can enter the corpora cavernosa. The veins leaving the male organ are constricted. This action traps the pressurized blood allowing for the size increase and full erection. Unfortunately most ED medications don't address the real cause of your problem, which is a lack of nitric oxide production. Rather than learn how to improve the health of your endothelium and increase its ability to produce nitric oxide, manufacturers of Viagra like products went in a different direction. If you remember from above, there are two competing actions at play. Vascular dilation for improved blood flow and Vascular constriction which limits blood flow. Both are controlled by an enzymatic pathway. Without getting bogged down in the complex interplay between these two action let's put it into its simplest terms. Nitric oxide acts as a signaling molecule to stimulate an enzymatic process that creates cGMP, which then causes the smooth muscles of the arterial blood vessel to relax. This results in increased blood flow to start and maintain an erection. There is another enzyme called phosphodiesterase or PDE that deactivates this cGMP. This results in the smooth muscle returning to its original constricted state. If this action didn't occur then men would walk around all day long with an erection. What the manufacturers of Viagra and Cialis did was figure out a way to disable the PDE part of the cycle by introducing a chemical called sildenafil citrate into your system. This chemical attaches itself to the PDE5 enzyme to disable the Vascular constriction phase allowing the nitric oxide to continue to influence the Vascular dilation allowing you to create enough increased blood flow to have and maintain an erection. This works great if you're producing nitric oxide. But if you're not then this method will not work or work very poorly. As this image clearly shows the aging process results in a significant decrease in nitric oxide production. Most of this decrease is due to damage done to the endothelium resulting in plaque formations and/or calcification. So rather then address the root cause for most ED issues, drug companies instead chose to find a chemical that they could manufacture, sell, and make tremendous profit. ------------------------------------------------------------- Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/pages/Healthy-at-60-Plus/1483227541991163 Website - http://healthyat60plus.com/erectiledysfunction Channel - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLOXU3yAse1ZJOrh-3PxTxEwVt-U_76gZT

The cost of Viagra is between $20 and $30 per pill. If you look at the cost over a period of time and the number of trips to the drug store RejuvaFlow™ is clearly the better option - you only have to visit a doctor every three months for treatment and you get so many other benefits from the procedure. It really is cost effective and non-invasive with no side effects. Patients are carefully screened, people that do not qualify for treatment are those with aortic or brain aneurysms. Overall the procedure is very safe.

Urdu/Eng/Nat Doctors in Pakistan are warning of the dangers of men buying the impotence pill Viagra on the black market and taking it without prescription. The sale of the drug in the country is currently being debated by the government - it says it wants to make sure the drug will be made available in the safest possible way. But medical experts say the problem of impotency is high in the country and that men are anxious to try out supplies of Viagra introduced illegally at a high price. Viagra, the impotency pill, is proving to be big business in Pakistan. The drug, first released in the U-S in March 1998, is legally available in more than 50 countries worldwide. Many people consider it the beginning of a new revolution in pharmaceuticals. In Pakistan, the government is currently discussing when and how to introduce the drug. But Viagra has already found its way onto the black market in the country's capital Islamabad and can be bought at a high price. One tablet can cost anything from 20 to 50 U-S dollars - a bottle of Viagra tablets can cost anything from 360 to 800 U-S dollars. Some Viagra users say the drug has been freely available to them for some time now and that they're prepared to pay up. SOUNDBITE: (Urdu) "Viagra is a sex drug and I have been using it for about two years and found it very good, because it adds energy to the body if we use it two hours before sexual intercourse. I have found no other medicine better than Viagra and the demand for it is now growing." SUPER CAPTION: Abdul Qadir, Viagra user The country's health department has so far been reluctant to legalise Viagra - but it is aware of the black market problem and is prosecuting anyone found selling the drug. Government officials say they want to make sure that there are no loopholes before Viagra is legally available in Pakistan. SOUNDBITE: (English) "In the West they know that this drug has got side effects and that it is a prescription drug. So nobody can buy it without prescription, while in Pakistan we still have some loopholes, some weaknesses where the drug can be sold over the counter and this is my main worry in resisting to register it." SUPER CAPTION: Professor Ghayyur H. Ayub, Director General of Health Ministry There have been worries that Viagra may have side effects. But Pfizer, the company that produces Viagra, maintains the drug is a safe medicine for erectile dysfunction when used as recommended in the approved package insert. There are already many legal drugs on sale in Pakistan to help enhance sex. Herbal doctors offer remedies for impotency, claiming they're natural products that have no side effects. The herbal remedy sellers can often be found on roadsides doing a roaring trade - but even they now say that the new wonder drug is threatening their trade. Medical experts say there is no official impotency figure in the country because Pakistani men are reluctant to admit they have a problem in a nation where sex is a taboo subject. But doctors say it is an ever increasing problem and they are warning of the dangers of taking the impotence pill without prescription. Doctor Khalid Saeed said it is even more of a worry as impotency affects men of all ages. SOUNDBITE: (English) "There are two basic main groups in which we can find this who come to us commonly. One is the younger age group - they are really people in their early 20s and the other group is somewhere in the late 40s and 50s and both of them have different presentations. People in the younger age group generally come to you just before they are about to get married." SUPER CAPTION: Dr Khalid Saeed, Consultant Psychiatrist at the Institute of Psychiatry, Rawalpindi In the meantime, they are encouraging people to seek alternative remedies. Millions of men are taking PDE5 Inhibitors such as Viagra, Levitra or Cialis. How do PDE5 Inhibitors work? Your body has a system that provides the “gas” necessary to achieve an erection. Your body has another system that applies the break, in order to reduce an erection. Thank goodness for this breaking system, without it we would all be walking around with a permanent erection. However, as we age, the bodies breaking system gets stronger and stronger. That’s one reason it may sometimes be difficult to achieve erection. PDE5 inhibitors work by taking the pressure off of the breaks Releasing the breaks is one thing, pressing the gas can be something quite different. Nitric Oxide is the gas that makes the erection potent, More nitric oxide means longer and stronger erections Stronvivo increases your nitric oxide output and improves erectile function naturally. Stronvivo has been shown to be a great companion to PDE5 inhibitors and has enabled some men to take lower and lower doses of the prescription.

http://www.balancedhealthtoday.com http://www.balancedhealthtoday.com/endosterol.html Medications that treat erectile dysfunction may help alleviate BPH. The ED drugs sildenafil (Viagra), vardenafil (Levitra), and tadalafil (Cialis) have all been shown to reduce BPH symptoms. However, they aren’t currently approved to treat BPH. One 12-week study comparing tadalafil and placebo showed that men who took 5 mg of tadalafil daily had significant improvement in both BPH and ED symptom measures. In an eight-week trial, 108 men who took 10 mg of vardenafil twice daily showed significant improvement in prostate symptoms compared with 113 men who took a placebo. The men were 45 to 64 years old and had a history of BPH. The study also included men who had ED. The results showed improvement in both BPH and ED symptoms in men who had both conditions. http://www.balancedhealthtoday.com/store http://www.balancedhealthtoday.com/store/endosterol.html

Portuguese/Nat One year after Viagra was launched in Brazil, the so-called miracle pill has become one of the biggest selling drugs in the country's history. Over five million pills have been taken by Brazilian men since it's introduction last June. For many, Brazil is the capital of sun, samba and sex. When Viagra was introduced one year ago, you would have been forgiven for thinking that Brazilian men would turn their backs on the miracle pill - seeing it as an unnecessary addition to their already sizzling lifestyle. But on the contrary, Viagra has taken off. Over five million pills have been bought in its first year on the market - and it shows no sign of slowing. So far the manufacturers of the male impotence drug, Pfizer, have made nearly 30 (m) million U-S dollars profit in Brazil alone. Brazil was the second country to put the drug on the market - after the United States - and over 100 thousand men in Brazil now take Viagra on a regular basis. But despite its success, not everyone will admit to needing it. SOUNDBITE: (Portuguese) "No. I would not take it. Why? I am still young, aren't I?" SUPER CAPTION: Roberto dos Santos, Drainage Worker SOUNDBITE: (Portuguese) "I would admit (to taking Viagra). I don't see any shame in admitting something that I have the need to take. It's a physical deficiency that you are getting through isn't it? I think it's normal to talk about it." SUPER CAPTION: Jose Carlos Araujo, Accountant SOUNDBITE: (Portuguese) "I haven't taken it yet but I would take it without any problem. I think it's the discovery of the century for men." SUPER CAPTION: Helio Santos, Businessman This chemist in downtown Rio de Janeiro sells on average 12 boxes per day. Each box contains four pills and is priced at between 55 and 60 reals - approximately 25 U-S dollars. But even the cost is not deterring buyers, who have to see a doctor first to get a prescription. Ten percent of all men visiting doctors now ask for help with impotence. SOUNDBITE: (Portuguese) "Normally they wait for a moment when the counter is empty, with no-one around, then they hand over their prescription. The pick up the medicine discreetly and go straight to the cashier, without saying anything." SUPER CAPTION: Odelio de Aguiar, Pharmacist In a recent study on Viagra in Brazil, 82 percent of men claim to have improved their sexual performance after taking the medicine. And it's not only older men who are turning to Viagra. After Pfizer, spent one-point-three million (m) dollars on an advertising campaign, younger men are now resorting to the pill. Of the 100 thousand men currently using the pill, 30 thousand don't suffer from any form of impotence. SOUNDBITE: (Portuguese) "It's true. There is a very significant percentage of individuals that come to us, or to other specialists, trying to experience the medicine even if they don't have a specific complaint with a sexual disfunction. They come to us looking for the possibility of improving their performance. And, actually, the results show a significant improvement on their performance." SUPER CAPTION: Doctor Luiz Carlos Miranda, Urologist The growing success of Viagra in Brazil has led Pfizer to consider setting up a manufacturing laboratory in Sao Paulo to produce it nationally. Brazil would also act as an export centre for the rest of Latin America. And with sales continuing to climb every month, the success story seems set to continue. Hindi/English/Nat Viagra may have made a sensational debut on the Western market but a different kind of competition awaits the anti-impotence pill in India. Favourable patent laws have spurred a race among the Indian pharmaceutical companies to produce a Viagra clone. However, India's traditional doctors have snubbed the Viagra hype, claiming their ancient herbal sex potions are far more potent - and cheaper - than any modern day pill. The race for the Indian version of Viagra is on. Just months after the anti-impotency pill hit the Western world, dozens of Indian versions of the drug are waiting for approval by the Indian government. India is one of world's largest drug industries but it only recognises process patents. This has prompted "copycats" to try to develop a slightly different process to make a Viagra clone. Presently, about 10 Indian pharmaceutical companies are in the race to process Sildenafil Citrate - the active ingredient in the Viagra wonder pill. The competition is so fierce that some companies have already started exporting the ingredient - even though they are still waiting for permission to market the product locally. What's driving these companies is a potential market of one (b) billion people - and that means big dollars. SOUNDBITE ( English) "As far as Indian companies are concerned, I am talking of established companies, definitely they will come up with very high quality. And price advantage will be there, it is definite... it is almost certain." SUPER CAPTION: Dr. S Sarangan, Kopran Limited In the land of Kama Sutra, sexual inadequacies have long been treated by ancient medical wisdom. On the streets of the Indian capital, hundreds of pavement doctors line the streets peddling traditional cures for impotence. For these roadside doctors, a strong belief in the potency of their magic potions is more important than conducting clinical trials. They claim their remedies offer vigour and vitality - using the rejuvenating properties of well known Indian herbs. These traditional remedies feature heavily in Indian folklore about Mughal emperors and kings who relied on herbal aphrodisiacs to keep their numerous wives satisfied. What's more - they're incredibly cheap. For a country where the problem lies more in ignorance than impotence, traditional alternatives are generally favoured. Sex clinics which offer indigenous cures boast a roaring trade. Run by a family of sexologists who practise traditional medicine, Sablok clinic has been in the business for nearly 70 years. Dr. Sablok scoffs at the hype created by Viagra and says the Indian masses just can't afford the expensive blue pill. SOUNDBITE ( English) "Making that person feel the pleasure out of a pill which you have given him at that moment and which.....obviously its expensive - I mean every other fellow can't afford it. So next time if he doesn't have that much money or he can't spend that much of amount , where does he go ?" SUPER CAPTION : Dr. Vikram Sablok , Sexologist India's lucrative sex-tonic market has attracted dozens of companies aggressively marketing various brands of attractively packaged, indigenous sex-elixirs. Advocates say Viagra can do no damage to their profitable trade - simply because their medication is without any side effects. SOUNDBITE (English) "We have very potent herbs and remedies which can definitely match Viagra - no doubt about it. In fact I should say that hopefully we will be a step ahead of them." SUPER CAPTION: Dr. Vikram Sablok, Sexologist In India's commercial capital, Bombay, Viagra is likely to face competition of a different kind. The current big seller is known as the "bed-breaker" thanks to its aphrodisiac additives. U.S. Pharmacy, aka United States Pharmacy, has been calling my cellphone for at least 2 years trying to sell me Viagra, Cialis, Levitra and pain pills. They call multiple times per week, and sometimes two or three times in one day. Yelling at them doesn't stop them, nor does reasoning with them. So I have begun messing with them and wasting their time. This is four calls mashed together in which I responded only with the first lines of novels (and one poem.) Mid of neon lights advertising karaoke and Thai massage STORYLINE Thai police presented a haul of counterfeit viagra and other goods to the media on Tuesday, seized from various locations in Bangkok. The pills - often imported from China and India - are sold "under the counter" and help fuel the city''s notorious sex industry. They''re the right size, shape and colour. Even the packaging looks convincing, but the only thing that''s real about these pills is the potential threat to buyers, police say. Thai police raided stalls and shops in the capital last week after complaints from the public. They seized thousands of boxes of counterfeit viagra, levitra and other sexual stimulants, gels and sprays with an estimated street value of around 16-thousand US dollars. According to officials at the Food and Drug Administration, the counterfeit drugs often have far higher doses of the active ingredient than is safe; in the case of some fake viagra, they say, as much as ten times the stated amount. The FDA''s secretary-general, Dr. Pipat Yingseree, said such overdoses could kill. There are no figures on how many people die in Thailand each year as a result of taking sex pills but it''s often cited as a factor in sudden deaths, especially of visiting males. As well as the pills, police also seized sex toys, which are illegal in Thailand under obscenity laws. Bangkok has a well-established sex industry, serving tourists as well as locals. Some of the stalls and shops raided by police last week were in the Nana district, one of the most notorious red light districts.
