No More UTI, No More Antibiotics - I Found A Solution

07:45
I can relate to your frustration. As someone who suffered from UTIs almost every month, I finally found a solution. I haven't had a UTI in over a year! Urinary Tract Infections, also known as UTI. I wanted to share this video with those of you who suffer from UTIs. When I would get the UTI, I would have to go on antibiotics because the infection processed through my body so fast that drinking lots of water or cranberry juice did not help make it go away. For me, once I get a UTI, the only way to make it go away is to go on antibiotics. For some people, they can drink a lot of water or cranberry juice and it goes away. That just never worked with me. Prevention was my only hope. I had tried many things to prevent from getting the UTI (baking soda, cinnamon, concentrated cranberry pills, purest cranberry juice) and I would still get UTI and have to go on antibiotics over and over again. I believe taking antibiotics whether from UTI or whatever type of infections (ear infections, etc) is not good for you. It slowly breaks down your immune system and ruins your stomach. I believe it is the cause of my allergies and also causes my stomach to react unnaturally to certain foods, which I hadn't had a problem previously. I've heard that if taking antibiotics for a long time, your body becomes immune to it and one day when you need it, it won't work anymore. Sounds so scary. Therefore, I wanted to find a solution to never getting another UTI again. I have been UTI free for over 1 year now. I'm so excited to share this with especially those that are similar and also want to find a solution. This product that I use is called D-Mannose Powder and the brand is NOW. Who would have thought a simple sugar powder could help so much to the point I no longer get UTIs. Believe me, I was so skeptical at first. But I had another round of antibiotics waiting for me if it didn't work. First I followed what the suggested usage on the back of the bottle mentioned. That did not work. Then, I altered the way I take it so that it would work for me. It mentioned to take it every day as a dietary supplement. I only take it at certain times (please view my video to see details on how I made it work for me). When I mention flushing with 5 cups in my video, that means drinking 4 - 5 cups of water in 1 hour after waiting 45 minute for the teaspoon of D-Mannose to set in. This bottle is not cheap. So I wanted to make sure I only use it when needed. Not sure which way would work best for you. I'm only sharing my experience and how I have made it work for me. Disclaimer: I am not claiming that it would cure the UTI or treat the UTI. Please consult with your physician before using. I have mentioned this D-Mannose to my physician and she is happy I no longer get the UTIs. I have successfully used it to prevent me from getting a UTI for over 1 year now. You can purchase this item at a health food store called Sprouts. This is a local health food type grocery store that also sells vitamins. As mentioned in the video, I will update this description section when I know of a sale. There is currently a sale going on from 01/03/18 to 01/10/18. I believe it is 25% off. For those who do not have a Sprouts near you, you can also purchase it online. I hope this video has inspired you to find solutions. I was hesitant to put up this video because it is a very sensitive subject. But I know so many people suffer from UTIs so perhaps this video would be helpful and valuable. Take care! Cheers!

Urinary Tract Infections

01:52
Urinary tract infections, or cystitis, are an incredibly common reason why women go to the doctor. Approximately one third of all women experience at least one episode of this infection by around 25 years of age, and half of all women will have at least one in their lifetime. Since it’s such a common reason why women go to the doctors, urinary tract infections are always high on the list whenever a woman complains of pelvic pain. The most common symptoms usually are pain when urinating, pain in the pelvis, cloudy smelling urine, frequency of urination, and getting that sudden urge to have to go. Some patients have all of the symptoms, making the diagnosis very straightforward. Other patients have just a few of the symptoms, making it a little bit more complex. In fact, one of the main duties for the physician in these cases is to make sure that nothing else is occuring. Pelvic infections, such as sexually transmitted diseases, colitis, vaginal infections, constipation, ovarian pain, and appendix pain can all present with somewhat similar symptoms. The diligent physician will at least consider these other infirmities before leaping to the conclusion of urinary tract infection. The physician diagnoses a urinary tract infection with a urinalysis. Looking for the presence of bacteria, white blood cells (leukocytes), and a chemical from the bacteria called nitrites, the urinalysis is essential to rule in the diagnosis. It should be noted that ultrasounds, x-rays, and CT scans are not helpful in the diagnosis of urinary tract infections unless a mass or abscess is being considered. Treatment usually is a three-day course of antibiotics for women. While it in older days seven to ten days would’ve been needed, we now know that three days is usually sufficient. Bactrim, a sulfa drug, is still used in those who are not allergic and where Bactrim does not have a high resistance. Cipro (ciprofloxacin) is also used, and as a third-line drug Macrodantin (nitrofurantoin) is used as a five day course. However, Macrodantin doesn’t actually kill the bacteria, and is usually reserved when other treatments simply don’t work. While other antibiotics not listed here are also often used, they should be used further down the road when these first-line therapies don’t seem to work. Preventing urinary tract infections can be tricky. Wiping patterns don’t seem to make as much of a difference as we once thought, and underwear fabric choice such as non-cotton underwear doesn’t seem to help either. Tampon use does not seem to play a role in the development of urinary tract infections. However, it does seem that cranberry juice and cranberry extract can help prevent urinary tract infections. Three to four hundred milligrams of cranberry extract twice daily seems to be an appropriate dose, which corresponds to three 8-ounce glasses of cranberry juice daily. A small daily dose of preventative antibiotics can also be given to patients who have urinary tract infections over and over again. While this does seem to work while the patient is taking them, this treatment is associated with abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea from the antibiotics themselves. It also only seems to work as long as patients taking the antibiotic. Therefore, this should be done only when absolutely nothing else seems to work. Kidney function is usually preserved with a urinary tract infection, and the long-term outlook is excellent. Please contact your physician if you have any questions about urinary tract infection, or feel like you need treatment for it. Proper treatment can save a lot of pain and discomfort. Pray for those with serious infections.

Recovering from Antibiotics

05:31
“How to recover from antibiotics.” – What does that mean? If you’ve been treated with a course of antibiotics for a long or a short time, or if you’ve been using food that has antibiotics in it, without you knowing, or if you’ve been misusing antibiotics in any way, you might start to have health problems. You might suffer from certain complaints that will make your life a little bit more difficult. Side Effects of Antibiotics Let me discuss the complaints that you might have from use of antibiotics. The most affected organs would probably be your intestines. That’s because the antibiotics are going to kill the bacterial flora, which is the friendly bacteria in your intestines that is responsible for digestion and making vitamin K, which is important for you. So, you will notice that you’re having trouble in your gut, so, you will start to have bloating, gas, irregular bowel movement, so, you will have constipation, then diarrhea and then bloating again and so on. You might also suffer from heartburn and feeling generally unwell. You might also start to notice bleeding from the gums or from the nose. That’s also related to the lack of vitamin K. You might also suffer from yeast infections, which is a fungal infection that can be anywhere on your body, either on your skin or in your mouth or in the genital area. All that is because your bacteria flora – the friendly bacteria in the gut – has been affected by the antibiotics. So, what we need to do now is correct the level of bacterial flora in your gut. How do we do that? First of, you will need to lead a healthy lifestyle. So, you drink a lot of water. Avoid bad foods. Bad foods are rich in sugar, carbohydrates that are unhealthy, like pasta, packed foods, processed foods – these are all unhealthy foods. Instead of that you should eat vegetables, fruits, grains, healthy fats (that’s vegetable oils mainly). Probiotics and Prebiotics You can also use probiotics. These are very healthy foods that are fermented, so that helps the growth of the good bacteria in the gut. Probiotics are mainly: yogurt, kefir and yeast. If you are suffering from any problems with kefir or yeast, I would suggest that you take it slowly. So you start with very small amounts, like one spoon a day, and then increase it gradually. If you go to the shop and want to buy probiotics, look for the name lactobacillus on it – that’s the good bacteria for you. You can also use foods that are called prebiotics. Prebiotics are foods that help the growth of bacteria, because they don’t get absorbed in the body, they stay for a long time in the intestines. Like, leeks (garlic, onions), honey, bananas, these are all very good foods for your bacteria flora. You can also try fermented fresh vegetables. That means, pickles that are pickled in a healthy way. So, you can try to pickle at home. So, try for example the ginger, to pickle it at home, or maybe cucumbers, also are healthy. But don’t add too much salt. So, pickled vegetables are very good for your gut flora. If you’re a fan of soups you can try bone broth or gelatin soups. You can buy bones from the butcher, and what’s inside – the broth – you can make soups with it, and that’s very good for your gut flora. You can also add onions to it, or any vegetables of your choice. It’s very important to know that your gut flora affects the function of your intestines, and healthy intestines affect the whole body. So it’s very important to replace the gut flora that has been affected by your antibiotic abuse. I wish you all the best! Antibiotics are medicines used to treat bacterial infections. There are different types of antibiotics that work against different strains of bacteria and some types of parasites. When used properly, they either kill or inhibit the growth of bacteria that cause a particular health problem. This in turn helps your natural immune system fight the infection. But antibiotics often have side effects that cause other temporary health issues. Some common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, vaginal yeast infections, allergic reactions and inner ear problems. 1. Eat Probiotic Yogurt When taking antibiotics, it is highly recommended to include yogurt with ‘good bacteria’ in your diet. Eating yogurt that contains ‘live cultures’ (also labeled as probiotic yogurt) helps your body recover from diarrhea, one of the common side effects of antibiotics. These live cultures are gut-friendly bacteria that provide a layer of protection in the intestines and help generate lactic acid to get bacterial toxins out of the body. 2. Eat Fermented Foods or Take a Probiotic Supplement. Apart from yogurt, many fermented foods naturally contain a high amount of probiotics. So, in addition to yogurt, include kombucha, kefir, sauerkraut, pickles, pickled beets, pickled turnips, pickled carrots and kimchi in your diet. 3. Eat Garlic. Garlic is a natural antibiotic that helps kill harmful microbes without the side effects of antibiotic medicines. Also, it contains an important compound known as allicin that protects your kidneys and liver from the potential damage of antibiotics. 4. Take Milk Thistle Supplements. Taking traditional antibiotics can be hard on your liver, which is responsible for breaking down the medications you ingest. To protect your liver from any damage due to a course of antibiotics, the herb milk thistle is very effective. The rich antioxidants in this herb help protect the liver. 5. Sip Ginger Tea Whether you suffer from diarrhea, nausea or vomiting due to prescribed antibiotics, ginger is effective in dealing with these side effects. Ginger’s natural antibiotic property helps prevent and treat many health problems caused by bacteria. Fresh ginger has an antibiotic effect against food-borne pathogens as well as respiratory and periodontal infections. 6. Eat Bland Foods. Some of the most widely reported side effects of antibitoics include diarrhea, nausea and vomiting. To counter these issues, it is advisable that you eat only bland food during and after a cource of antibiotics. These types of food inlcude dry crackers, plain bread, white rice, etc. 7. Drink Apple Cider Vinegar Tonic. Apple cider vinegar has antibacterial properties that help fight harmful bacteria in your body. Also, it is a good remedy for controlling diarrhea, one of the common side effects of antibiotic medicine. 8. Drink Enough Fluids. To counter dry mouth caused by medicines and a mild loss of fluids from diarrhea or vomiting, drink more water. Drinking an ample amount of water throughout the day will keep your body hydrated. For a more-severe loss of water, drink fluids that contain water, sugar and salt to help replace electrolytes that the body needs. 9. Stay Healthy. One way to deal with side effects of antibiotics is to stay healthy so you don’t have to take them for long. Take steps to support your health in the following way. 10. Take Antibiotics as Directed. Last but not least, you must always take your antibiotic medicine as directed by your physician. For instance, some antibiotics should be taken only with water. Others need to be taken with food in order to increase their absorption in the body and ward off an upset stomach, a common side effect of antibiotics. These Antibiotics Cause Nerve Damage And Lifelong Disability

02:23
These Antibiotics Cause Nerve Damage And Lifelong Disability The Fluoroquinolones are a group of antibiotics that are usually prescribed for urinary tract infections and respiratory infections, but these antibiotic can cause serious nerve damage. These antibiotics were given to more than 23 million patients in 2011. Fluoroquinolones include: Ofloxacin (Floxin) Norfloxacin (Noroxin) Moxifloxacin (Avelox) Levofloxacin (Levaquin) Gemifloxacin(Factive) Ciprofloxacin (Cipro) The FDA required an update on the labels of these drugs, their side effects of peripheral neuropathy. Peripheral neuropathy This antibiotic kills the bacteria that cause the illness. But according to new research, the risks of these medications are more than the benefits of it. Peripheral neuropathy is when the nerves which send the information are damaged. This damage disables the connection. People with peripheral neuropathy can feel numbness, burning pain in the legs or the arms and tingling. These medications can cause long-lasting damage to the nerves and this can lead to disability. They can get into the blood-brain barrier and this leads to getting into the brain and damaging the central nervous system. How safe are antibiotics in 1st trimester of pregnancy? - Dr. Phani Madhuri

03:39
Antibiotics are a group of drugs that are used to combat bacterial infections in various conditions. They could also be used in pregnancy. When it comes to regency, all the expectant mothers are worried whether they can use certain antibiotic in pregnancy or not. These group of drugs comes in various categories staring from A, B , C and X. So each drug in o particular category is either safe or unsafe. Category A and B drugs are mostly safe in pregnancy and can be used without any problem. But C and D drugs are having a little deleterious effects on the fetus compared to the other A and B drugs and it had to be very carefully used when it comes to pregnancy. Only then the potential benefits the drugs oppose to the growing fetus and the mother. Category X drugs are definitely dangerous to the fetus and they have to be avoided as they are teratogenic in the terms of causing abnormalities in the development of various organs. Coming to antibiotics in early pregnancy, the week number 8 – 10 or 7 – 11 is mostly the stage of organogenesis where all the organs are developing in a beautiful way in the fetus. So all the drugs which are in this period can have effect on the growing fetus to various degrees. So we try and avoid any drugs as much as possible, but if it is inevitable, like infections or any condition which si posing threat to the mother’s health, it is advised to use drugs in the safe categories, that is the A, B and sometimes C category drugs. Antibiotics do not affect the fetal growth, especially in the early pregnancy. It can be harmful to the organogenesis to the development of the fetus. So growth parameters are not affected in the early pregnancy , But there are a group of drugs that can cause teratogenic effects , that is abnormal effects on the fetus, that is warfarin, phenytoin, lithium, isotretinoin etc. So these drugs are to be avoided in pregnancy as far as possible. There are many antibiotics which can be used safely in pregnancy like penicillins, erythromycins, cephalosporins, metronidazole, clindamycin and various other drugs. But of course only after your gynecologist says okay with these drugs.

Will having antibiotics effect chances of conception? - Dr. Teena S Thomas

01:37
Antibiotics as such do not have any effect on the chance of conception. Only thing is there are certain antibiotics which you do not start in pregnancy. When you are trying a pregnancy and you are on your last days of periods, you do not start them on streptomycin, tetracycline. Otherwise if a patient is having a tablet for general cold, there is no relation in getting conceived or in pregnancy or decreases the chances of pregnancy. Other factors can cause change like decreased immunity levels, stress levels, hormonal levels, can cause the change. If patient is on antibiotics alone, then there is no effect. Other factors may affect it. If patient is on oral contraceptives, than antibiotic is have known to decrease the efficacy of oral contraceptive pills, leading it to failure. Otherwise, it doesn't decrease the chances of pregnancy.
Ciprofloxacin-resistant Escherichia coli: Outpatient

00:47
Escherichia coli, a member of the Enterobacteriaceae family of bacteria, is the leading cause of community-acquired urinary tract infections (UTIs). It is also a common cause of food-borne gastrointestinal infections. These maps show outpatient E. coli resistance to ciprofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that is a first-line drug for uncomplicated UTIs when local trimethophrim-sulfa resistance is known to be high. At the start of the decade, nearly all of the United States (with the exception of the South Atlantic and West South Central divisions) experienced low resistance rates (less than 5%) to ciprofloxacin. Resistance rises gradually. By 2005 all regions report resistance levels between 5% and 15%. By 2009, the picture has changed markedly: all areas except Pacific and New England report at least 15% resistance, and in East South Central resistance rates exceed 25%. Fluoroquinolone resistance is on the increase worldwide, along with outpatient use of quinolones. E. coli resistance to fluoroquinolone antibiotics is particular cause for concern because it has been linked to the emergence of plasmid-mediated quinolone resistance (PMQR), a mechanism by which genetic material that encodes for resistance is transmitted horizontally (from one organism to another) rather than vertically (from parent organism to offspring). The rise of PMQR is thought to accelerate the rate at which other Enterobacteriaceae, including K. pneumoniae, develop fluoroquinolone resistance. The national average resistance level for the sample was 10.4%, rising from 3% in 2000 to 19.5% in 2009. The sample consists of 1,900,924 E. coli outpatient isolates tested for ciprofloxacin resistance. Data are not available from the following states: AR (2008--2009), CO (2006--2009), GA (2007--2009), IA (2008--2009), KY (2007--2009), MI (2008--2009), NV (2009), RI (2000--2004), SD (2005--2009), UT (2007--2009), CT, NH, MT, and WY.

Natural Remedies for Ear Infection

04:03
Ear infections are caused by bacteria or viruses in the middle ear. Ear infections occur more often in children than adults. Some causes and contributing factors that lead to ear infections are wax buildup, upper respiratory infections, food allergies, environmental allergies, genetics, nutritional deficiencies and internal injuries. Some common signs that someone is suffering from an ear infection are pain in the ear, tugging at the ear, difficulty sleeping, headache, poor response to sounds, high fever and fluid draining from the ear. The ear is made up of three parts: outer, middle and inner. An ear infection can occur in any of the three parts. Inner ear infections are the most serious. It is important to treat an ear infection to prevent complications, including damaging or rupturing the ear drum. There are many time-honored, simple and easy home remedies that can help to get rid of the pain and other symptoms of an ear infection. 1. Salt Salt is probably the most readily available home remedy. Heat up one cup of salt on a pan over low heat for a few minutes. You can also heat it in a microwave or double-boiler. Place the hot salt on a cloth and seal the open end with rubber band (or tie a knot). When it is bearably hot, lay down and put the cloth on the affected ear for 5 to 10 minutes. Repeat this remedy daily as many times as needed. The heat generated from the sock will help draw out fluid from the ear and relieve swelling and pain. As an alternative, you can use one cup of rice in the same manner described above. 2. Garlic Garlic has antimicrobial properties and natural pain relieving qualities, making it highly effective in the treatment of ear infections. There are a few ways to use garlic as a home treatment. Make garlic oil by cooking two garlic cloves in two tablespoons of sesame oil or mustard oil until it turns blackish. Strain the solution. When it is bearably hot, use two to four drops of this oil in the infected ear as ear drops. Alternatively, you can also boil two or three fresh garlic cloves in water for five minutes, then crush them and add some salt. Put the mixture in a clean cloth and place it against the affected ear. Consuming two to three cloves of raw garlic daily also helps speed up the healing process. 3. Apple Cider Vinegar To get rid of the fungus that may be causing the ear infection, apple cider vinegar is a good option. Mix one part apple cider vinegar with an equal amount of water or alcohol. Soak a cotton ball in the solution. Put the cotton ball in your ear like a plug and leave it for about five minutes. Remove the cotton ball and lay down on your opposite side to drain the liquid from the ear. Use a hair dryer to dry your ear as much as possible. 4. Olive Oil One of the main causes of an ear infection is wax in the ear catching some fungal or bacterial growth leading to a blockage in the Eustachian tubes. You can easily clear the obstruction with the help of olive oil. Warm some olive oil slightly. Put a few drops of the warm oil into the infected ear. The oil will cause the wax to soften. Remove the infected wax with cotton-tipped swabs. Be careful not to put the swab too far in the ear or you might damage the eardrum. Treat My UTI - It's that simple!

01:00
Physician Diagnosis of UTIs Prescription to your pharmacy All from your own home! By longstanding tradition, UTIs are usually diagnosed by a trip to the healthcare provider where an examination and urine studies are performed prior to treatment with antibiotics. It is now a well known medical fact the diagnosis by history alone is equal to the traditional exam and urine studies if the symptoms are not complicated by certain additional health issues. This is where TreatMyUTI.com utilizes this fact to provide safe, efficient, and affordable diagnosis and treatment for eligible women without the visit to the provider's office. Our assessment tool will utilize a series of questions to determine eligibility for treatment. If the history of the patient shows burning, frequency, and urgency of urination without certain complicating factors, the use of short term course of antibiotics is the recommended treatment. Even if the symptoms of a UTI rapidly go away after taking an antibiotic, it is important to complete the course of treatment. So what's next? Step 1. Take our FREE online assessment at http://www.TreatMyUTI.com Step 2. Order your consultation. Step 3. Our doctor(s) review your assessment for eligibility & order treatment as necessary. Follow my Updates on the Best Chronic Prostatitis Cure Clinics Guide at: https://www.prostatitis.support Or write to me: sean@prostatitis.support The worst thing about Chronic Prostatitis is not knowing exactly what caused it.. and contrary to all the calls about non-bacterial being a diagnosis of 90+% of cases, I believe that an infection cause is responsible for far more cases of Chronic Prostatitis than previously thought. Once an infection gets into the male genitourinary system and gets established, it commonly becomes impossible to culture via urinalysis or EPS.. thus the often “non-bacterial” label and the extreme difficulty of a Prostatitis cure. It's a proven fact that oral antibiotics cannot get into the prostate in any strength, let alone the seminal vesicles and associated areas, so a common effect is an improvement of symptoms and then relapse after the course is finished. This video is my story of Chronic Prostatitis and how I found it was bacterial-based and how I cured it. I discovered a lot of information in the process and I've put all that in the Clinics Review section of my website at: https://www.sexualhealthclinics.org If you've ever suspected this terrible disease of Chronic Prostatitis is due to a long-established deeply-based infection, then come and see what I've found through determination and persistence and realize you can find a Chronic Prostatitis Cure. http://youtu.be/07cpWLyJ2Ao

The Real Cost of Fluoroquinolone Antibiotics

07:32
We are a non-profit charitable foundation dedicated to research, advocacy, and education about Fluoroquinolone Toxicity. Fluoroquinolone antibiotics such as Levaquin, Cipro, and Avelox are associated with severe and often permanent adverse reactions. They are meant for life threatening infections, yet they are often improperly prescribed for routine infections such as sinus infections, UTIs and even as preventative measures. Know the risks and ask for a safer alternative. It could just save your life.

3 Simple Home Remedies To TREAT URINARY TRACT INFECTION (UTI) In Women

02:26
How to treat URINE INFECTION IN WOMEN naturally? LEARN easy home remedies for curing Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). Urine infections in women is a common problem. When it affects the lower urinary tract it is known as a bladder infection (cystitis) and when it affects the upper urinary tract it is known as kidney infection (pyelonephritis) . The urinary tract consists of kidneys, ureters- connecting kidneys with the bladder, bladder and the urethra. An infection of any of these parts is called a urinary tract infection(UTI) and can be caused by bacteria, fungi or viruses. As stated earlier urinary tract infection(UTI) in women is quite common the urethra in women is much shorter than in men. Both men and women gets urinary tract infections(UTI) and occasionally it's severe with men. Causes of urinary tract infection(UTI Infection): Urinary infections can happen due to blockages which make it difficult to empty the bladder. It could be due to kidney stones, enlarged prostate gland or cancers. Improper personal hygiene and bathroom hygiene can lead to UTIs. Use of spermicides or condoms can also lead to irritation of the skin and can increase the risk of a UTI. Use of diaphragms can decrease emptying of bladder and lead to an urinary tract infection. Diabetics have an increased risk of contracting urinary tract infections. Urinary infections are the main reason why women should wipe from front to back after using the bathroom. The reason behind this is that the urethra is located close to the anus and bacteria such as E.coli, which is present in the large intestine, can escape from the anus and enter the urethra. From here, they can reach the bladder, causing bladder infection. The infection should be treated as soon as possible otherwise there is a possibility of the kidneys getting infected. Post menopause, there are changes in the normal bacteria which reside in the vagina. This can increase the incidence chances of urinary tract infections(UTIs). UTIs can also happen due to use of a catheter (a tube inserted into the bladder to allow draining urine into a bag when someone cannot urinate normally) which makes it easy for bacteria to enter the bladder. Urinary Tract Infection(UTI) or Bladder Infection Symptoms: • Burning sensation during urination • Increased frequency of urination • Blood in the urine • Cloudy urine • Change in colour of urine • Strong odour to urine • Pelvic pain (women) • Rectal pain (men) More serious urinary tract infections are those involving kidneys. They are bacteria can enter bloodstream from kidneys and circulate throughout the body causing septic shock and death. Pain in back and sides, chills, fever, nausea and vomiting are symptoms of upper urinary tract infection. Urinary Tract Infection(UTI) Treatment: You can take UTI medication or home remedies for UTI. These natural UTI remedies are quite effective and they do not have any side effects. Natural products help the bodies’ immunity to fight the infection. It also kills the bacteria and helps to flush out the toxins from the body as they are natural diuretics. Apart from using bladder infection home remedies, you must ensure cleanliness to keep UTI infection away. So let's review urine infection home remedies: 1. Water for Urinary Tract Infection:- Bring water to a boil and add the parsley if you are using fresh-which is preferable in my opinion. Reduce the heat so it simmers steadily and let the leaves infuse the water like this for 6-10 minutes. Strain the leaves out and drink the water hot. If it’s a hot summer day, pop it in the fridge for refreshing parsley “iced tea.” This is a useful urine infection home remedy. 2. Celery Seeds For Urinary Tract Infection:- Add a tea spoon of celery seeds/ajwain to a glass of water and boil this for 10 minutes. Cool this down and drink it. This home remedy helps you to get rid of pain and discomfort caused due UTI. 3. Baking Soda for Urinary Tract Infection:- Add one teaspoon of baking soda in about 1 glass of water (250ml). Stir well and drink first thing in the morning. It reduces the acidic nature of urine and eases urinating. (Do not have it for more than one week). This a very good urine infection remedy. Ciprofloxacin-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae: Outpatient

00:47
Klebsiella pneumoniae is a member of the Enterobacteriacae family, along with E. coli and P. mirabilis, which together account for the vast majority of community-acquired urinary tract infections (UTIs). It is also a frequent cause of bloodstream infections and community-acquired pneumonia among alcoholics. This video shows outpatient K. pneumoniae resistance to ciprofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that is a first-line drug for uncomplicated UTIs when local trimethophrim-sulfa resistance is known to be high. Resistance rates fluctuate in the early part of the decade before beginning a steep ascent in 2006. Although resistance levels in the Pacific and Mountain states remain relatively low in the beginning of the decade, all three divisions along the East Coast see a sharp increase after 2006 with rates surpassing 10% in New England. This trend follows the spread of K. pneumoniae resistance to other broad-spectrum drugs. Fluoroquinolone resistance is on the increase worldwide, along with the outpatient use of quinolones. Resistance to fluoroquinolone antibiotics is a particular cause for concern because it has been linked to the emergence of plasmid-mediated quinolone resistance (PMQR), a mechanism by which genetic material that encodes for resistance is transmitted horizontally (from one organism to another) rather than vertically (from parent organism to offspring). The rise of PMQR is thought to accelerate the rate at which other Enterobacteriaceae, including E. coli, develop fluoroquinolone resistance. The national average resistance level for outpatient isolates was 4.5%, increasing from 3.4% in 2000 to 5.5% in 2009. The sample consists of 304,789 outpatient isolates tested for ciprofloxacin resistance. Sample size peaks in 2007, then decreasing to 2005 levels. Data are not available for the following states: AL (2009), AR (2008--2009), CO (2006--2009), GA (2007--2009), IN (2006--2009), IA (2008--2009), KY (2008--2009), ME (2000--2003), MS (2007--2009), NV (2009), RI (2000--2004), SD (2004--2009), UT (2007--2009), CT, HI, ID, MO, MT, NH and WY.
