See how my parents lowered their cholesterol by 30 pts in 30 days - no diets or drugs: ►►►http://drsam.co/yt/StartLoweringYourCholesterolNaturally =============================== 5 Worst High Cholesterol Foods You Must Avoid [Clinically Proven] =============================== Cholesterol has many benefits and it’s definitely NOT your “enemy”. In fact, “low” cholesterol is just as bad as “high” cholesterol levels. However, there are certain foods that are really bad for you and can quickly increase your “bad” cholesterol levels and dramatically increase your risk for heart disease, a heart attack or stroke. Under this video I’ve got a special bonus video about how you can quickly lower your cholesterol levels in less than 30 days, naturally - without changing your diet or exercising. So make sure you take a look... However, let’s first start with the 5 worsts, clinically proven - “high cholesterol” foods that you must avoid! Dairy I’ve been saying this for over 2 decades - Milk is for babies and cow milk is for baby cows! Additionally, 99% of dairy products are pasteurized, which kills any benefits milk could have. Not to mention, the toxins, hormones and drugs these animals are given are highly concentrated in the milk - which goes inside of YOU! All of these factors, plus the saturated fat inside milk, increases your cholesterol and stresses your liver. It doesn’t matter if it’s whole, low or nonfat dairy, it’s all the same. Unfortunately, this also includes two of my favorite foods, ice cream and cheese! Fast Foods It doesn’t matter if it’s a burger, tacos, french fries, pizza or anything else - they’re all high in carbohydrates, hydrogenated and saturated fats, using unhealthy and toxic proteins. It’s cheap food. It may be easy and good for your wallet, but it’s bad for your health and cholesterol levels and you’ll pay the price later in life. Animal Protein The saturated fats and “marble fat” found in meat, pork, poultry and shell-fish is horrible for your health and cholesterol levels. I’ve noticed even grass-fed meat and free-range poultry can still cause high cholesterol in some of my patients, especially the “sensitive” ones. Limit your intake and focus more on vegetable proteins and fish - especially wild-caught salmon. Eggs Eggs can be good or bad. All the cholesterol and fat is located in the egg YOLK, which is why most “experts” say you should only consume egg whites. However, most of the nutrients, antioxidants and half the essential amino acids (protein) are also found in the yolk. The problem is when you COOK the yolk - such as hard-boiled, scrambled and fried eggs. The heat oxidizes the egg and damages both the structure of the protein and fat. So the healthiest way to eat eggs is raw or lightly cooked, so the yolk is still runny. Don’t fry it with butter or vegetable fats. And make sure it’s organic, free-range eggs. Baked Foods/Carbs (Snacks Too) Baked foods such as muffins, cakes, breads, donuts, croissants, rolls, cookies, danishes, scones, pie, etc… The types of foods most people eat in the morning when they’re in a rush, or with their coffee or at work as a snack… These are all bad because they contain hydrogenated and saturated fats, as well as dairy. Not to mention, they’re high in simple carbohydrates and sugars. “Bad” fats increase cholesterol. “Bad” fats + carbs/sugar REALLY increase your cholesterol and lead to numerous health issues. The combination is super unhealthy. Under this same category -- “Snack Foods” such as chips, pretzels, crackers and similar items are almost as bad as these bakes foods. A dairy-free coconut milk yogurt that’s loaded with good probiotics and topped with cacao nibs, and oats. If you love the tangy, creamy taste of yogurt but can’t handle the dairy, there is a simple, delicious solution to getting some probiotic goodness the non-dairy way. Try this simple coconut yogurt recipe with all of its amazing health benefits. If you wish to you can substitute the coconut milk with almond or rice milk. Coconut milk Yogurt Ingredients • 2 high-quality probiotic capsules • 1 14-ounce (414ml) can of smooth, creamy full-fat coconut milk (containing guar gum, if possible) • 100g of oats (Optional) • 1 teaspoon of cacao nibs (Optional) Will make 1 1/2 cups of yogurt. Instructions 1. Vigorously shake the can of coconut milk. Then pour the coconut milk into a clean glass jar or bowl. 2. Empty the contents of the probiotic capsules into the jar/bowl. Use a wooden spoon to mix the contents together. 3. Cover the top of the jar/bowl with a cheesecloth, and seal tight with a rubber band. 4. Leave the jar/bowl at a warm temperature (75 degrees F / 23 C or so). Wait 24-48 hours, as desired. The warmer it is and the longer you wait, the thicker and tangier the yogurt will be. 5. Refrigerate the yogurt for one hour to thicken. If you use coconut milk that does not contain guar gum, the yogurt might have separated into two layers: Creamy yogurt on top, with water underneath. In this case, simply scoop out the creamy layer. 6. Sprinkle oats and cacao nibs on top and serve. The yogurt will keep in the refrigerator for 4-7 days. Yogurt, whether made with dairy or non-dairy milk, is a thick, fermented milk product packed with high concentrations of good, gut-healthy probiotic bacteria, as well as vitamins and minerals. Put together, these components help regulate intestinal health, build stronger bones, and enhance immunity. Additional benefits associated with consumption of probiotics include lower blood pressure and cholesterol, weight loss, and digestive health. Coconut, especially the medium-chain triglycerides fats within coconut milk, have been associated with health benefits such as Improving Heart Health by Lowering Blood Pressure and Cholesterol, Building Muscles, Helping Lose Fat, Improving Digestion and Helping Lose Weight. Oats are among the healthiest grains on earth. They're a gluten-free whole grain and a great source of important vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. Studies show that oats have many health benefits. These include weight loss, lower blood sugar levels, digestive health and a reduced risk of heart disease. Cacao Nibs are rich in polyphenols called flavonoids, which have been found to have antioxidant properties, that have beneficial prebiotic effects on the gut. They are poorly digested and absorbed, however, good gut bacteria begins to gobble them up as soon as they enter the colon. Flavonoids have also been shown to contribute to a healthy heart. Try this yummy, non-dairy treat for yourself. You’ll love its tangy, coconuty flavour and it's amazing health benefits! There’s nothing spectacular about the name of this powerful beverage. But if you take a deeper dive into its contents, you’ll discover a sea of benefits. If you’ve not yet benefited from its potent probiotics, then you may have difficulty even imagining what it looks like. Kefir is similar to a liquid type of yogurt. This creamy beverage is packed with beneficial yeasts, which makes it more powerful than simple yogurt for maintaining optimal digestive health. It’s also loaded with an abundance of essential minerals and nutrients, including calcium and magnesium. Since kefir is low in cholesterol, sugar, fat and calories, it’s certainly healthier than any fruit juice. In today’s video, we’ll explore both types of kefir and look at some of its health benefits. 1. Milk Kefir This popular form of kefir is typically made with milk from cows, goats or sheep. Some versions are derived from coconut milk. Kefir has a flavor similar to Greek yogurt. You may be able to locate a variety of flavors, other than vanilla, in your supermarket. 2. Water Kefir This variation has a lighter taste than the one made from milk, and its texture is consistent with soda. Although it contains no milk, it still offers the same healthy benefits. Health Benefits of Kefir 1. Improves Digestive Health Since kefir is a storehouse of beneficial yeasts and probiotic bacteria, your digestive system will be relieved by its ability to annihilate hostile bacteria. Its probiotics have delivered positive results in treating IBS, diarrhea, bloating, constipation and a host of many other digestive conditions. 2. Boosts the Immune System Kefir can also fortify your immune system by cleaning your body of harmful pathogens. One study revealed that kefir’s probiotics can eradicate various infections. 3. Fights Harmful Bacteria Many harmful bacteria are prone to hiding out in the digestive tract and are seeking ways to start trouble. Salmonella is one such renegade. Once kefir enters the system, its probiotic strain begins to search and destroy bacteria that can harm us. 4. Fights Cancer Much research has been conducted to determine how fermented foods may help defend us against cancer. Various studies conclude that fermented foods can inhibit cancerous tumor growths, even breast cancer, by reducing carcinogenic compounds. 5. Increases Bone Density Kefir provides a heathy way to manage and treat osteoporosis by supplying many nutrients and minerals required for good bone health, including calcium, magnesium, and vitamin K2. 6. Reduces Allergies Looking for relief from allergies? Kefir’s properties can overpower inflammatory markers that are responsible for respiratory problems such as allergies and asthma. 7. Helps Detox A wide array of food and environmental toxins can create enormous health problems if left unchecked. Fortunately, the bacteria that can be introduced to your body by drinking kefir can destroy these toxins. SUBSCRIBE AND SHARE!! To view more click here: https://goo.gl/j71qpZ In this video I am showing you an easy way to make homemade yogurt/dahi using starter. Traditional probiotic yogurt is made from dairy that’s fermented into a creamy food packed with beneficial probiotics and is a balanced source of protein, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. Yogurt is considered a superfood. When it’s sourced from grass-fed cows or goats, then yogurt’s nutrition is maximized, supplying omega-3 fatty acids, whey protein, calcium, magnesium, potassium, vitamin D, vitamin K2, enzymes and probiotics. 10 Proven Probiotic Yogurt Benefits So why is probiotic yogurt so good for you? In a study published in Nutrition Research, 6526 individuals were studied, and yogurt intake was directly associated with better overall diet quality, healthier metabolic profiles, healthier blood pressure and triglyceride levels. In addition, yogurt was found to be an excellent source of calcium, potassium, magnesium, zinc, and vitamins B2 and B12. Here are 10 proven yogurt health benefits: 1. Supports Healthy Digestion Healthy bacteria that are added to yogurt help to improve the microflora in the gut, which is responsible for digestion and a healthy digestive tract. These active cultures may help with certain gastrointestinal conditions, including colon cancer, IBS, constipation, diarrhea and lactose intolerance. 2. Lowers the Risk of Type 2 Diabetes In a recent study, higher intake of probiotic yogurt is directly associated with a reduced risk of developing type 2 diabetes. (3) Yogurt supports digestion and the absorption of nutrients throughout the digestive tract; this is essential for healthy blood sugar regulation. 3. Lowers the Risk of Colorectal Cancer In a large study of over 45,000 individuals published in the International Journal of Cancer, yogurt consumption was shown to protect against colorectal cancer. Researchers indicated “the protective effect of yogurt was evident in the entire cohort”. 4. Increases Bone Density & May Help Prevent Osteoporosis According to Jeri Nieves, Ph.D, MS and director of the Bone Density Testing Helen Hayes Hospital in New York, “Adequate nutrition plays a major role in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, and the micronutrients of the greatest importance are calcium and vitamin D. 5. Supports Weight Loss and Increases Fat Loss According to the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, yogurt increases fat loss. The study showed that three- to six-ounce servings a day for 12 weeks nearly doubled the amount of fat lost versus others in the study. 6. Boosts the Immune System In a recent study, researchers found that probiotics found in yogurt and other fermented milk products can improve the gut mucosal immune system by increasing cytokine producing cells in the intestine. Researchers stated that “Supplementation of probiotic organisms in infancy could help prevent immune-mediated diseases in childhood.” 7. Reduces High Blood Pressure Yogurt has over 600 milligrams of potassium per eight ounces! In 36 clinical trials and 17 studies, potassium intake and blood pressure reduction are evident. The potassium is believed to help decrease sodium reabsorption, while influencing nervous system cell function important in lowering blood pressure and improving heart health. 8. Reduces Bad Cholesterol The live probiotics in yogurt, including Lactobacillus Acidophilus, decrease cholesterol levels, with just one 200-milliliter (seven ounces) serving per day! In a controlled clinical study, researchers witnessed a 2.4 percent reduction in serum cholesterol. 9. Regulates Moods The effects of probiotics on the digestive tract and blood sugar levels have already been discussed, but as it turns out, the health of our gut is directly related to our mood. 10. May Help Treat Chronic Pain & Brain-Related Illnesses In the same study mentioned above regarding mood regulation, researchers noted that probiotics have the potential to help with chronic pain, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and autism. For loads more ideas on healty eating check out all the great info here | http://jamieol.com/hhy Big Love, Jamie O x #JamiesSuperFood Hey guys! Thank you to each and every one of you who has fairly commented about nutritional claims made in this vid. We're so sorry for confusing you all and really do thank you for your diligence. We strive to be the leading authority on food education and so have got the best advice from our top nutritionists to clear it all up: *As bananas ripen the starch turns to sugar, so the sugar content increases. Therefore when eating bananas, the riper they are the sweeter they will taste. Eating bananas before they become over-ripe means you will be consuming less sugar than if they were slightly more ripe, however it’s important to remember it is still all natural sugar. Freezing fruits and vegetables before they become over-ripe is a good tip to helping them last longer. **Blueberries are high in Vitamin C for immune health and cell protection which helps to prevent the onset of life threatening diseases. http://mamanatural.com If you love thick, creamy, and healthy smoothies, then this one is for you! And you don't even have to be a pumpkin lover... it's that good. Granted, it isn't pumpkin season but we can make do with the canned variety for now and buy the real thing in the fall, which will be here before we know it. I've been playing around with this recipe for awhile now and finally feel like I nailed it. It's got a great combination of sweet, savory and exotic flavors. The egg yolk gives it an almost ice cream like quality... the coconut milk... a nice smoothness, and the pecans add an element of homemade pie. Of course, the pumpkin and spices make up the earthy base where all the other flavors can dance around. It's an all around symphony of delight! (Can you tell I love this one, people?) Here's the recipe for an individual meal or two snack-sized portions: INGREDIENTS 1 cup frozen pumpkin puree (I put in ice cube trays) 1 frozen banana (be sure to unpeel before you freeze) 1 cup light coconut milk (While I'm usually all about the fat, in this instance, the full fat variety would tip this smoothie over the 700 calorie mark!) 1 raw egg yolk from fresh pastured eggs 5 pecan halves Dashes of cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and sea salt DIRECTIONS Pour 1 cup of light coconut milk into blender. Chop up your frozen banana and add to milk. Blend till smooth. Add in ½ of your frozen pumpkin with spices. Blend till smooth. Add other ½ of frozen pumpkin. Blend till smooth. Add egg yolk and pecans. Blend till smooth. Serve immediately and enjoy! How about you? Share with us your best recipe that you've worked hard to perfect. Pregnant? http://bit.ly/fattylr Foods to Avoid a Fatty Liver The American Liver Foundation (ALF) defines a fatty liver as “the build-up of excess fat in the liver cells.” One of the biggest risk factors for a fatty liver is obesity, which is caused by excess calorie consumption. Other risk factors include diabetes, high cholesterol or triglycerides, alcohol abuse, gastric bypass surgery, certain medications and malnutrition. There is no standard treatment for fatty liver but Johns Hopkins University reports that weight loss can help prevent and treat a fatty liver. Fruits, Vegetables and Whole Grains A healthy diet is rich in fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Fruits, vegetables and whole grains are naturally low in calories and fat but high in fiber. According to the American Dietetic Association fibrous foods increase the feeling of fullness that can prevent overeating and subsequent weight gain. Fiber-rich diets can also prevent type 2 diabetes, a risk factor for a fatty liver. Protein and Dairy The best proteins to support weight maintenance and weight loss are from lean sources like poultry, eggs, soy, lean meats, fish, seafood, beans and legumes. Excess fat and calories can be reduced by removing all visible fat and skin from meat and poultry prior to cooking and using healthy methods to cook foods like grilling, steaming, broiling, baking, roasting and poaching. The healthiest dairy products include low-fat or non-fat milk, yogurt and cheese. Low-Cholesterol Foods Cholesterol is a type of fat found in animal products. A report in the August 7, 2011 issue of the "World Journal of Gastroenterology," recommends a diet that is low in saturated and trans fats. Foods high in omega fatty acids such as fatty fish, olive oil and nuts are recommended to help treat fatty liver. The report also recommends foods low in simple sugars and high-fructose corn syrup. Non-alcoholic Beverages Alcohol puts stress on the liver and is closely tied to liver disease. According to the California Pacific Medical Center as little as one glass of beer or wine a week can contribute to a fatty liver. The ALF encourages individuals with a fatty liver to avoid all alcohol. Examples of non-alcoholic beverages include water, juice, soda, tea, coffee, sports drinks and milk. Unbelievable Results in the Morning We all recognize turmeric as a spice commonly used in Indian cuisine. This plant is from the ginger family and its active compound curcumin is well known to have a wide range of medicinal benefits including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antitumor, antibacterial and antiviral activities. In India turmeric has been used as a remedy for stomach and liver ailments. It is also the liver’s favorite spice and helps boost liver detox. It does this by assisting enzymes that actively flush out dietary carcinogens. The health benefits of this drink come from the impressive benefits of its ingredients: Turmeric has many beneficial healing properties and has been shown to: 1.Ease arthritis pain, due to it’s anti-inflammatory properties 2.Help the liver detoxify by enhancing liver function, and also enhances the flow of bile (aka gallstone prevention!) 3.Boost blood circulation, and also thins the blood (CAUTION to those already on a blood-thinning medication) 4.Turmeric has powerful anti-inflammatory effects that have the ability to ease the problems associated with the digestive tracts lining and protect the body from the occurrence of ulcers. 5.Reduce the pain and fever associated with illness 6. The best cure for cancer. If you want to try turmeric, there is one tasty recipe. Coconut milk is another great ingredient because it comes with lots of healthy fats and provides antimicrobial effects which can ultimately prevent digestive or stomach issues caused by bacteria. Black pepper is added to enhance turmeric’s bioavailability and absorption of curcumin, the main ingredient in turmeric. Honey is loaded with amino acids, enzymes, minerals and vitamins which can boost digestion and ease irritation in the digestive system. RECIPE: Ingredients: – Two cups coconut milk – One teaspoon turmeric – One inch piece of sliced and fresh ginger root or one teaspoon ginger powder – One-quarter teaspoon ground black pepper – One tablespoon organic honey Preparation: Add all ingredients except the honey in a bowls and mix together. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and heat until it is at a low boiling and bubbling. Reduce heat to low and let cook for 5 minutes. At the end add honey and drink while warm. Ketosis Dairy Alternatives: Best Nut Milks- Thomas DeLauer… Get more nutrition tips at: http://www.ThomasDeLauer.com Almond Milk: -Pros- Fiber Contains 1 gram of fiber per 8 ounce glass Fats Omega-3 fatty acids Monounsaturated fats Linked to heart health Phytosterol antioxidants and flavonoids Vitamins and minerals Riboflavin (vitamin B2) Iron Potassium Higher in vitamin E and calcium than traditional milk Low in calories - 30-60 calories per 8 ounces No cholesterol Easy to make your own *If you make your own you will retain more nutrients due to less processing -Cons- Tree nut allergy Important to get organic Low in protein - about 1 gram per serving Must be careful of added fillers Carrageenan - thickening agent Has been linked to inflammation, especially gut inflammation Cashew Milk: Taste: A little creamier and sweeter than almond milk, slightly less nutty of a flavor. Similar nutritional profiles. -Pros- Low in calories - 25-40 calories per 8 ounces Healthy fats: monounsaturated fats No cholesterol Vitamins and minerals Contains many of the naturally occurring vitamins and minerals Many will be removed during processing if purchasing store-bought If making your own you will retain the natural Vitamin K, magnesium, and iron. Others are added in to mimic that of dairy milk Store bought is often fortified with calcium, vitamin B12, vitamin D and vitamin A Easy to make your own! You will retain much more fiber, healthy fats, vitamins and minerals by making your own cashew milk. -Cons- Low in protein Tree nut allergy Again must be cautious of additives Coconut Milk: Taste: Light, slightly sweet and silky. A very mild coconut taste. -Pros- Healthy fats - about 4.5 grams per serving High in lauric acid Converts to monolaurin, which is effective against bacterial, viral and fungal infections, and have been shown to boost the immune system. Even great for skin health: The antibacterial properties of lauric acid isn’t only good for our internal health, but for our skin’s health too. Inflammatory acne can be attributed to the overgrowth of a gram positive bacteria known as P. acnes. A 2009 study demonstrated that lauric acid was 15 times more effective at inhibiting growth of P. acnes than benzoyl peroxide, which is found in many acne medications. Vitamins and minerals Generally fortified with vitamin D and calcium to mimic the nutritional profile of cow’s milk -Cons- No protein Higher in calories than almond or cashew milk, ranging from about 45-75 calories in store-bought coconut milk Again must be cautious of additives Lowest in calcium Flax Milk: Taste: Light and creamy, most milk-like (no nutty or coconut taste) -Pros- Healthy fats Omega-3 fats No cholesterol Low in calories, about 50 calories per serving Fortified with vitamins and minerals Store bought is often fortified with calcium, vitamin B12, vitamin D and vitamin A -Cons- No protein Again must be cautious of additives **Note: Cashew and almond milk are easy to make at home. They will be much more nutritious with more vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats. Overall: Store-bought cashew, almond and flax milk are very similar nutrient wise, with flax the closest to having a neutral taste and cashew milk being the creamiest. Coconut milk has a different fat profile with slightly more calories. If you make these at home, cashew and almond milk will tout many additional benefits with an even creamier taste for both. Several studies have shown that while cooking can degrade some nutrients, it can enhance the availability of others. As a result, no single cooking or preparation method is superior for preserving 100 percent of the nutrients in a vegetable, and that includes eating vegetables raw. Boiling has been found to be better for carrots, zucchini and broccoli, than steaming, frying or serving them raw. Since the best vegetables are the ones you will actually eat, taste should be the defining factor when you decide on a cooking method. The best way to get the most out of your vegetables is to enjoy them a variety of ways -- raw, steamed, boiled, baked and grilled. If you eat a variety of fruits and vegetables on a regular basis, you don't have to worry about the cooking method. ------------------ If you would like some information on our private nutritional coaching, shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org! now guys, this is a game changer ! 1 ingredient vegan whipped cream, organic and natural. oh and with zero lactose or bad cholesterol. vegan whipped cream full recipe: 2 cans of chilled organic coconut milk (with guar gum) instructions: - chill the coconut milk in the fridge for a few hours or over night. it helps separate the coconut cream from the coconut water. - the guar gum is a stabiliser that will make the whipped cream smoother. it's from natural origin, so i'll let it slide this time, although you know how i normally feel about additives... - ok, so open the cans and gently scoop out the coconut cream until the liquid that's left in the can is clear (coconut water). save the coconut water in the fridge to make for example smoothies with later. - whip the cream ! i'm doing it by hand cause i'd love some bigger arm muscles, but you can use electricity for this one if you want. i won't judge. - if you want a thicker consistency, just pop it in the fridge and it will get denser. if it gets too dense, whip it again. - enjoy just like it is, or add some maple syrup or agave for added sweetness. life as vegan will never be the same again ! oh, the blog is having some tech probs, but should be fine again soon ! sorry sorry ! love // jenny support me on patreon : https://www.patreon.com/JENNYMUSTARD

Known for its distinct taste, turmeric provides numerous health benefits for individuals when consumed consistently. When mixed with honey, this paste helps boost immunity while promoting our overall health through their combined effects. In fact, when mixed together, it may actually increase honey’s bioavailability. Generally, when combining these two ingredients, try to use both organic turmeric and raw organic honey if you can. Lets discuss some of the amazing health benefits of consuming honey mixed with turmeric. 1. First, honey and turmeric provides a wide range of important vitamins, minerals and nutrients in only a small dosage. Turmeric is a great source of manganese, iron, vitamin B6, copper and fibre. Raw honey is also rich in vitamins and minerals, These include calcium, magnesium, thiamin riboflavin and potassium. 2. The combination of honey and turmeric also has tremendous antibacterial and anti-fungus properties. The mixture can be applied topically to combat unwanted fungus found on the body, such as toe and foot fungus. It has also been shown to help fight Candida. As well, you can also consume honey and turmeric to help combat different types of bacteria and is a known natural yet potent antibiotic. 3. This mixture is also great for the overall health and look of our skin. The combination of these two wonderful ingredients provides many anti-aging, antibacterial and antimicrobial compounds which all work together to improve the skin’s quality. Both products are found in many cosmetic products sold today. Again, when combined together, this mixture can be applied topically as a potent face mask to improve the skin. It can work to treat acne, brighten the skin and make it look more radiant and reduce the signs of wrinkles. It may even be able to treat burns. 4. Raw honey mixed with turmeric can also work to naturally treat coughs and other respiratory issues as some studies have shown. As well, Turmeric’s amazing antiviral and antibacterial properties can help to treat common cold and flu symptoms. As a natural decongestant, honey and turmeric can also help to alleviate symptoms of nasal congestion and improve conditions effecting the upper respiratory tract. 5. The combination also has amazing anti-inflammatory properties and is a rich source of antioxidants. Honey contains floral flavonoids, which have been shown to boost the body’s antioxidant levels. Turmeric also contains curcumin, which provides excellent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. This can help reduce inflammation throughout the entire body and may also improve blood pressure and decrease the risk of cardiovascular disease. As well, honey and turmeric can help to get rid of free radicals in the body which may cause oxidative stress and boost our immunity. 6. Lastly, honey mixed with turmeric may also be able to help improve cognitive function. As a potent anti-inflammatory, this mixture can help support overall brain health. Inflammation is thought to be one of the causes of certain types of neurodegenerative disorders, among other causes. The potent anti-inflammatory properties in both honey and turmeric can help to counter certain inflammatory responses causes by stress and our environment. As well, the curcumin found in turmeric has been shown to stimulate the production of DHA and ALA. These are omega-3 fatty acids which can help support nervous system function in the brain You don’t have to consume large amounts of honey and turmeric for this mixture to be effective, especially if yo are consuming it consistently. One common recipe combines 3.5 ounces of raw honey and a tablespoon of turmeric powder. You can even half this recipe when beginning to consume this mixture. Simply mix the two ingredients together and consume. Consult with your medical practitioner before consuming to make sure this mixture is right for you. Thank you for watching the video! LDL is the carrier that transports cholesterol from the liver to the vessels and cells and HDL transports the cholesterol from the arteries back to the liver. The body makes 3000 mg of cholesterol. Why? 1. Makes cell membranes 2. Antioxidant properties 3. Anti-inflammatory properties 4. Makes vitamin D 5. Helps you make bile thus extracting fat soluble vitamins 6. Makes cortisol 7. Makes sex hormones (testosterone, estrogen, etc. AND 8. Helps the body respond to crisis (infection) 9. It binds and inactivates bacterial toxins 10. Helps inhibit the damage from microbes 11. Acts as a band-aid to help in the healing of the endothelium layer. There are 2 types of LDL. Type A (large buoyant) *normal, not involved in damage repair. *last 2 days in the body Type B (small dense) *because these are small, they can enter the damaged wall of the artery and are involved in the clotting and plaquing. *last 5 days Look at your triglycerides - if they are high and your HDL is low, then you have more type B LDL. But if your triglycerids are low and high HDL, then you have type a. Saturated fats will increase type A and sugars will increase type B. LOW CARB, HIGH DIET DIETS CAN SWITCH YOUR TYPE B TO TYPE A. We know some products are really dangerous for our health, and other products are good for us as they are healthy. It turns out it’s not so simple and some of the most promoted and popular foods can, in fact, harm you. Never eat these 10 dangerous foods for the sake of your own health and the health of your family. Even if you see the juice labels “not from concentrate” or “100% pure”, don't let this fool you. Juice, after being squeezed from different fruits, is kept in huge vacuum-sealed tanks where it can sit for up to a year before being packaged! And by that time, the juice has lost all its flavor, which is why manufacturers have to add artificial flavoring to make it taste fruity again. In most cases, cereals are loaded with refined carbohydrates and sugar. Even if the label assures you that it's fat-free and whole grain, check the list of ingredients. You'll most likely see that the product is full of sugar. Despite common belief, most yogurts don't contain probiotic bacteria since the process of pasteurization kills all these microorganisms. When consumed, trans-fats in ice-cream can cause high cholesterol, stroke, heart disease, and even cancer. Ice cream is also loaded with sugar, artificial flavors, and synthetic preservatives. And if it’s pink, purple, or red, it’s most likely been colored with cochineal extract or carmine, additives which can cause bad allergic reactions. Popcorn has some genetically modified ingredients as well as taste-boosting chemicals and additives. This leads to health problems such as heart attacks, digestive issues, allergies, skin rashes, breathing problems, and the depressing list goes on. Even more, popcorn is extremely caloric. These oils, when heated, become nothing more than trans-fats. -One egg contains as much cholesterol as a big greasy burger. -Microwave popcorn’s almost always lined with the same toxic substance you can find in Teflon pans. -If candy doesn’t contain sugar, it contains artificial sweeteners such as aspartame, sucralose, and saccharine. These substances are chemically processed and may cause some serious side effects. -Artificial sweeteners in diet soda can easily lead to weight gain as they trigger the production of insulin, which makes your body store fat. Even better, this combination tastes great and is very easy to make in your own home. Bananas and honey offer great nutrients for our bodies and have long been used for their medicinal properties. Lets discuss some of the amazing health benefits eating honey and bananas regularly can provides. 1. First, eating honey and bananas will supply our body with a tremendous amount of health promoting antioxidants. In fact, this combination is an antioxidant powerhouse. Studies have shown that eating raw honey consistently can help to raise the levels of antioxidants in our body. They are loaded with powerful and potent antioxidants known as polyphenols which can reduce the risk of a number of different health ailments. Raw honey also contains a health promoting antioxidant known as pinocembrin, a power flavonoid. Bananas also contain powerful dietary antioxidants. They are loaded with catechins, which can help with the elimination of free radicals in the body it prevent damage caused by them and disease. 2. This mixture can also support heart health and promote the overall health of our heart a number of different ways. Honey has many different benefits for our heart. Raw honey can help to lower blood pressure due to the amazing antioxidants previously mentioned. Studies have also found that it can help improve cholesterol levels by reducing both total cholesterol and “bad” LDL cholesterol, which also increasing “good” HDL cholesterol by a significant amount. If that wasn’t enough, honey can also help to lower triglycerides in the body and reduce plaque build-up in the arteries. Bananas are also a great choice for supporting heart health. They are an amazing source of the mineral potassium, which is essential for heart health. Bananas can also help control blood pressure, reduce the risk of heart disease and contain heart health magnesium. 3. Eating honey and bananas can also provide benefits for those individuals with diabetes or those at risk of developing the disease. Raw honey is a known diabetes aid. Consuming raw honey can help to reduce the risk of developing diabetes. This is because studies have found that it causes less of an elevation of plasma glucose levels. Also, raw honey may decrease hyperglycaemia. Mixing raw honey with cinnamon has been found to be especially beneficial in this regard. Bananas may also be able to improve insulin sensitivity. This is because bananas, specifically unripe varieties, are a great source of resistant starch, which may help improve insulin sensitivity when consumed consistently. 4. This combination is also a great source of natural energy, and can be consumed for a natural energy boost. This is because raw honey contains natural sugars, many different minerals, vitamins and nutrients, as well as water. When consumed, it is an easily absorbed energy supply in the form of liver glycogen. This makes it especially beneficial before or after workouts or as a mid-day energy boost. Bananas are also great for instant energy. They contain a good amount of carbohydrates and important vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin B6. The potassium in bananas may also be able to help fuel you during workouts and prevent muscle cramps. 5. Lastly, when consumed in moderation, eating honey and bananas can help with proper weight management and even weight loss. Studies have found raw honey to be beneficial for weight loss since it can help to manage blood sugar levels as well as lower serum triglycerides. Also, honey can help to suppress appetite and prevent sugar cravings during the day. Bananas actually have weight loss promoting abilities as well. They are incredibly nutritious and can help you to feel more full. This is due to their good levels of fibre and resistant starch, which also helps to reduce appetite. When consuming honey and bananas, be sure not to overeat them. One medium-sized banana and a tablespoon of raw honey can go a long way in promoting your overall health. Both provide different health promoting abilities, and when combined together, become an immunity and digestive boosting powerhouse. When choosing yogurt, try to consume plain, unsweetened yogurt if possible to keep down calories and sugar. Greek yogurt would also be a great choice. As for honey, raw organic varieties are best as this has the highest antioxidant concentrations. Now, lets discuss some of the incredible health benefits of consuming honey and yogurt consistently. 1. First, raw honey and yogurt are a nutrient and antioxidant powerhouse. This mixture provides many different types of vitamin, minerals and antioxidants that can promote our overall health. Raw honey is incredibly rich in high quality and potent antioxidants. These include organic acids, flavonoids and phenols. As well, honey contains bioactive plant compounds and trace amounts of vital nutrients. Yogurt is incredibly nutrient dense and rich in vital nutrients. It contains high levels of calcium, vitamin B12, phosphorus, magnesium and riboflavin, along with probiotic compounds. 2. This mixture can also promote the health of our heart many different ways. As mentioned previously, honey is loaded with antioxidant compounds that can help to lower both blood pressure and the risks associated with heart disease. It can also help to improve cholesterol levels in the body by lowering total and LDL cholesterol, while significantly raising “good” HDL cholesterol. If that wasn’t enough, honey can also help to lower blood triglyceride concentrations, a major risk factor for heart disease. Yogurt is also heart healthy. It can help reduce high blood pressure since it is a good source of potassium and other nutrients. As well, yogurt can help to reduce bad cholesterol in the body due to the live probiotics it contains, reducing the risk of coronary heart disease. 3. Eating honey and yogurt can also help promote healthy digestion. Honey has tremendous anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. These important properties can help to treat gastrointestinal disorders, such as ulcers, as research has indicated. This can help promote and improve overall digestive function and increase nutrient uptake. Yogurt is incredibly important for healthy digestion as well. Healthy bacteria that are often found in yogurt work to improve the microflora found in the gut. This works to not only improve digestion overall, but also promotes a healthy digestive tract. Also, these active cultures found in yogurt can help relieve certain gastrointestinal ailments, including constipation, diarrhea and irritable bowel syndrome. 4. Consuming this mixture regularly can also help reduce the risks associated with diabetes. Evidence has found that honey may help reduce some of the risks factors that are commonly associated with diabetics. This includes lowering “bad” LDL cholesterol, inflammation and triglycerides. Also, raw honey will not increase blood sugar levels as much as sugar will. Just be sure to consume honey in moderation, as some increase will occur if over-consumed. Yogurt has been found in some studies to specifically lower the risk of Type 2 diabetes. Since yogurt supports healthy digestion and the absorption of vital nutrients throughout the digestive tract, this can help promote healthy blood sugar regulation. 5. Lastly, consuming honey and yogurt consistently can help to boost the immune system. As mentioned, honey is packed with healthy antioxidant compounds and nutrients that work to reduce inflammation throughout the body and reduce oxidative stress. These bioactive compounds and antioxidants work to boost our overall immunity, and may even help to reduce the risk of certain diseases. Yogurt which contains probiotics is a well known immune system booster. Research has found that the probiotics in yogurt can help to improve the immune system specifically. The probiotics found in yogurt helped to keep the digestive tract and gut free from bacteria that could lead to certain diseases. When consuming in this mixture, be sure t consume in moderation as a little bit of each goes a long way in promoting our overall health. Again, be sure to consume yogurt with probiotics and that is low in sugar. Raw, organic honey is also best. DISCLAIMER: This video is for educational and informational purposes only. You’ve probably heard that fat is bad for your health. Maybe you look for low-fat options at the grocery store and carefully read labels to avoid high-fat foods. But not all fats are bad, and there’s a lot of misinformation out there. Here are four myths about fats you should stop believing. Myth 1: All Fats are Created Equal First things first, not all fats are created equal. There are four main types of dietary fats—trans fats, saturated fats, monounsaturated fats, and polyunsaturated fats—and some of them are better for you than others. For instance, trans fat is primarily manmade and largely recognized as having no nutritional value. It’s found most often in highly processed, unhealthy foods. But monounsaturated fats are considered “good fats.” They are found naturally in foods like olive oil, nuts, avocados and whole milk. So the type of fat you eat is an important differentiator between healthy and unhealthy diets. Myth 2: All Saturated Fat is Bad There’s a lot of information that links saturated fats to instances of high cholesterol and heart disease. And while consuming a diet high in saturated fats is definitely not recommended, not all saturated fats are bad for you. Take MCTs for example. MCTs are medium-chain triglycerides or medium-chain fatty acids. Certain foods containing MCTs such as coconut oil, palm kernel oil, cheeses, and whole-milk yogurt can actually be beneficial to heart and brain health if consumed responsibly. Myth 3: High-Fat Foods Will Raise Your Cholesterol If your diet mainly consists of processed trans fats and unhealthy saturated fats, you are at risk of raising your cholesterol. But eating a diet high in polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats can actually have the opposite effect. Consuming high-fat foods that are good for you—like sunflower seeds, salmon, and walnuts—may actually help bring your cholesterol down. And it’s important to keep in mind that several factors—such as genetics and the amount of carbs and refined sugar you eat—have an impact on your cholesterol levels. Myth 4: Fats Don’t Have Any Benefits It’s easy to think about fat in food as a harmful ingredient that serves no purpose. But good fats actually do a lot for our overall health. Healthy fats actually help our bodies absorb important fat-soluble vitamins and nutrients such as Vitamins A, D, and K and antioxidants including lycopene and beta-carotene. Fats also help to make you feel more satiated, which means you’ll feel fuller longer and may be less inclined to overeat. So, while it’s important to watch your portion sizes and monitor the types of fats you’re eating, a diet containing high-fat items can actually be beneficial to your overall health and wellbeing. Just make sure to do your research and consult a doctor or nutritionist if you have questions or need help identifying healthy-fat foods. Claim Your FREE TestMax Recipes Today Before They Disappear: http://go2.sixpackshortcuts.com/SH2kr What’s going on everybody? It’s day 6 here of the “TestMax Takeover.” I’m joined by the lovely Brooke Stacey today to show you guys 3 testosterone-boosting smoothie recipes that taste absolutely amazing. Yesterday I went over how to make my delicious Portuguese Kale Soup. If you didn’t get a chance to check it out, make sure to head to http://youtu.be/_P2weQ-Zhg0 Become A TestMax VIP By Signing Up Today At http://go2.sixpackshortcuts.com/SH2kr We wanted to make it so easy and simple for you guys to start boosting your testosterone, so these smoothies are the perfect solution to drink your way to higher test levels. Here’s the best part - there’s NO COOKING involved. All you’ll need is a blender and the ingredients here. Before I go into showing you all how to put together these tasty smoothies designed to help your male hormone health, Brooke brought up a good question I think a good amount of guys out there are wondering about - is it safe for women and the rest of the family to eat these test-boosting foods? My answer is a resounding YES. You can modify these for women as well by simply using a soy protein powder or unsweetened organic soy milk to make the recipe pro-estrogen. Let’s jump right into the smoothies: 2:57 - Blueberry Coconut Smoothie: Ingredients: 1 cup coconut milk, 1 handful of blueberries, and1/4 cup of plain greek yogurt. You can also add 1.5 to 2 scoops of protein powder to make the smoothie a great meal replacement or, my favorite, shaved coconut for texture. The coconut milk contains the necessary saturated fats to facilitate test production since it supports the body’s ability to produce cholesterol - a precursor needed for making testosterone. Blueberries contain resveratrol - anti-aromatase yielding estrogen-lowering effects. 5:24 - Green Machine Power Smoothie: Ingredients: 1 cup almond milk, 1 medium banana, 1/2 cup diced pineapple chunks, 1/4 cup of greek yogurt and 1 handful of kale; topped off with a scoop of peanut butter & ice. This smoothie contains “Superman” superfoods full of antioxidants and nutrients for supporting hormone health. Kale is a cruciferous veggie that is anti-estrogenic, packed with vitamin A, C and K as well as zinc and magnesium. Don’t worry guys - you can’t taste the kale in this smoothie. Never be scared to add veggies to smoothies since all the other ingredients mask the taste. The banana and pineapple are rich with vitamin B and potassium. Pineapple also contains bromelain and riboflavin that are necessary for naturally manufacturing testosterone in the body. Peanut butter is packed with monounsaturated fats. The generous amounts of amino acids and monounsaturated fats found in nuts proven to increase blood flow “down there” and promote higher levels of test. 9:50 - Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Avocado Smoothie: Ingredients: 1 cup organic unsweetened almond milk, 1/2 avocado, 1/4 cup greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon of raw cocoa and 1/2 cup strawberries. Add ice and blend for 30-45 seconds. You can also modify the flavor with Truvia or stevia for your sweetness preferences. The raw cocoa is loaded with magnesium and l-arginine - an amino acid designed to help the body build protein and stimulate the release of male hormones. Avocado is a hormone-enhancing fruit since 77% of calories in it come from fats for optimal test level. Strawberries are high in zinc - the nutrient found in the body that governs testosterone health. You can whip one of these delicious smoothies up in the morning. Start the day off right with drinking your way to your better male hormone health. I’ll be honest guys - I’m just like everyone else, meaning I am NOT invincible. In fact, I’m a 53-year-old man that has suffered from the same things and same issues that you do when it comes to hormone health. Getting started with simple additions to your daily routine like these test-boosting smoothies goes to show that you don’t need to change your lifestyle to start impacting your testosterone health. Now, guys… Monday, January 2nd is the official launch date for the TestMax Nutrition System.
