Feline cancer is not as common as canine cancer, but is often more aggressive and advanced when diagnosed. As a pet owner, you may be uncertain about how to move forward with treating your cat’s cancer. Fortunately, advancements in veterinary oncology have led to vastly improved knowledge about feline cancer and how best to treat it. Before proceeding with treatment, take time to learn as much as you can about the diagnosis and treatment of feline cancer. It is caused by uncontrolled cell growth, and affects a wide range of cell types and organs in the body. Feline cancer initially manifests as a lump or bump on any parts of the body. ... While the causes of cancer in cats are unknown, feline leukemia virus is suspected to be a prime contributor. Welcome to Pets and Animals YouTube Channel. Medical Marijuana Cures: My Cat's Cancer

02:58
My Cat, Lhasa, was 17 when she was diagnosed with a form of bladder cancer called transitional cell carcinoma. She was given a month or two to live and as a result of putting her on Medical Marijuana (A high ratio of CBD to a low ratio of THC) her cancer was stopped dead in its tracks. She lived another two years and was 19 when she passed of other ailments due to old age. I was not a person who did Marijuana and could not even stand being around the odor of Marijuana. Had I not seen the CNN special that Dr. Sanjay Gupta did on Medical Marijuana I never would have been persuaded to try it for my cat. It arrested her cancer and I also used a different ratio of CBD to THC for my other elderly cat and it stopped her limping. she had been limping for a couple of years prior to the Medical Marijuana. Medical Marijuana should be fully researched and investigated before you use it for yourself, a loved one or a companion animal. Thank you to Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNN, my vet, our oncologist and Constance Finley (who has been helping thousands of people with medical problems using medical marijuana for years) I had two more years with my sweet little Lhasa and I like to think that the data compiled throughout her medical marijuana journey will help other people and animals.

Owner discusses cat's cancer diagnosis, treatment, and recovery

03:31
Pistache is an 18-year-old female spayed domestic shorthair cat belonging to Sylvie Bermingham. Pistache was diagnosed with an inoperable oral squamous cell carcinoma (aggressive oral cancer) in late May of 2008. She had a large tumor between her mandibles (lower jaw) and also had metastatic disease in the draining lymph nodes (somewhat unusual for oral squamous cell carcinoma). Pistache's tumor responded wonderfully to an alternating protocol combining mitoxantrone and carboplatin, two chemotherapy agents that are frequently used in cats. She ate better, gained weight, and is still doing well a year after diagnosis. This condition normally has a 1 to 3 month prognosis for survival when inoperable. Warning Signs of Lung Cancer in Cats

01:05
My cat Ronja started making this extremely worrying sound all of a sudden, became fairly lethargic too! Due to this happening late in the evening I couldn't rush her to the vet. She was fairly calm yet alert, but only wanted to lie around, not eat even her favorite food. It got somewhat better, but still raspy breath and too calm after a short while, but that lasted for about 4 hours before it cleared up seemingly completely. First thing she did when it cleared up was go eat. Now I can't hear a thing even if I press my ear to her belly. In the beginning she made a strange loud burping sound 3 times with a few minutes a part. A loud boom of a burp. She and her two longfurred buddies shed a lot lately, so not sure if it is hairball related (she did a few regurgitating attempts at first, but nothing came up) Though the fit itself wasn't deadly, it turned out to be Lung Cancer. She lived a fairly normal life with very few instances like this, but you could hear her breathing was a bit struggled near the end. She passed away in my arms about half a year later. Her passing was quick and sudden, so she got to die naturally at home.

Lost my cat to fluid in lungs please watch for the signs (GRAPHIC)

01:05
I lost my cat of 8 years, Fufu, to what seems like a combination of asthma, edema in the lungs and fluid in the lungs. Around January I realized he was having "hairball" attacks more often and didn't think much of it. Then I did further research and realized he might have asthma, so I took out my rug floor and switched it to wood. And it did help but it was short lived as today(march 22nd) he started breathing heavy and I could see his belly collapsing and expanding. I gave it an hour or so before I realized it was not getting better. I tried some things like Salix but it didn't manage to help. Then the breathing got progressively worst and thought it was congestive heart failure. I went as fast as I could to the vet and by then you can see he was drooling from his mouth. They did what they could by doing an x-ray and administering anti inflammatory steroids, a bronchodilator and oxygen mask. However, it was too late and he was suffering excessively. I will forever miss my cat and blame my lack of understanding and action that could've prevented his death.PLEASE use this video as a reference and hopefully you can prevent your pets death if they have similar symptoms. It is not a hair ball and do not wait on it. Take them to the vet immediately.

DOG HEALED FROM CANCER/ NATURAL CANCER TREATMENT/

11:25
It all Started when my 13 years old white Maltese (Bilu) collapse on the flour and couldn't breathe. I picked up his lifeless little body as fast as I could, his tongues was blue and had curled all the way into his throat and he couldn't breathe. I yelled his name in a panic sound, and began to gently pull his tongue out not allowing it to block his airway. although this horrible scene only lasted about 40 seconds it seemed like an eternity. At first we thought he had chocked on a chicken bone or something (since I found a bone near by). But this fiasco happened again. We rush him to the vet, lo and behold they had an X ray done and found out he had a cancer tumor larger then his heart located around the heart and lungs. The tumor was so big the vet said all his organs were failing and that he would not be able to breathe. The vet told us that the loving thing to do was to put him to sleep. We came home devastated that day, everyone were crying (specially because we lost Sandy our loving yorkie about six months ago for the very same problem lungs cancer). We seriously contemplated putting him to sleep, specially because he fainted again. But something in me wouldn't give up hope. I began praying for healing and asking God for a solution. That's when a documentary I watched a few years ago came to my mind "THE GERSON MIRACLE" also "HEALING CANCER FROM THE INSIDE OUT"... So I immediately got Bilu off his nasty Walmart food (Purina) which in my opinion was responsible for giving him cancer. I began cooking organic chicken breast and organic brown rice and vegetables. besides I began juicing organic carrots, celery, kale, broccoli, mint and injecting in his mouth via syringe every 4-5 hours... Also I began giving him omega oils 3-9. I began feeding him multi vitamin and I forgot to share on the video. I began giving him organic apple-cider vinegar raw, besides lemon water to make his body alkaline. Also I am giving him Kombucha. Less than 3 weeks Bilu has appeared to have been fully healed, all the symptoms left. He is happy, he eats twice a day, he has been chasing cats around the backyard. This is amazing because Bilu was not able to walk but now he is fully healed from cancer. Bilu has not fainted or shown any signs of sickness.... all my praises goes to my wonderful heavenly father above Jesus Christ, who created us in His image and gave us everything we need to stay healthy (fruits and vegetables). I am compelled to share this video because I know so many people this very moment (As I write) are devastated to know that their wonderful pet friend has cancer. If this is you my friend, DO NOT GIVE UP, BILU HAS BEEN HEALED FROM CANCER, BELIEVE ME WHEN I TELL YOU!!! IF BILU WAS HEALED YOUR DOG CAN BE HEALED AS WELL... PLEASE IF you have any questions, don'y hesitate to contact me. my direct email is mq4bibletruth@yahoo.com PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE THAT ARE HURTING BECAUSE OF THEIR PETS, PLEASE FORWARD THIS VIDEO TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS.... ALSO, THIS TREATMENT WORKS ALSO FOR HUMAN BEINGS... PLEASE SHARE WITH EVERYONE YOU KNOW.... IF YOU HAVE A FRIEND THAT HAS CANCER RESEARCH "GERSON MIRACLE.... ALSO WWW.MODERNMANNA.ORG THESE TREATMENTS WORK VERY WELL FOR CANCER PATIENTS AS WELL AS ANIMALS... I REALLY HOPE AND PRAY THAT MY EFFORTS WILL HELP AT LEAST ONE PERSON OUT THERE... FIP in Cat

01:33
The owner of this female cat called me because he thought she was pregnant. She could not be because I had spayed her halv a year ago. There was the possibility of a tumor producing fluids inside her, the virus infection FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) or ascites because of another problem. I put the cat under anaesthesia prepared to eventually cut her open to remove a possible tumor in case the fluid had been reddish with blood in it. The fluid leaving her belly when I had punctured it seemed colourless at first but it proved to be yellow. She has FIP, there is no doubt about this. Appart from her swollen belly she had been doing fine so I decided to let her wake up which she did soon enough and let her live. Life is a mystery, her odds to survive are very dim but my treatment might give her a few months, I might have to empty her of fluids again some time but if this is all it takes I shall help her to have a good life. FIP is contagious so disinfection afterwards is of uttermost importance.

How to Diagnose and Treat Pyothorax in Cats

Sometimes, a cat will develop a problem called pleural effusion, which means its chest cavity fills up with fluid. Pyothorax means the chest cavity has filled up with a specific fluid: pus. The cat then has trouble breathing. This condition is usually due to an infection, which needs to be treated by draining fluids and treating the infection with antibiotics. Know These 9 Common Signs Of Cancer To Give Your Cat A Fighting Chance

10:32
Cancer isn’t as common in cats as it is in dogs, but it tends to be more aggressive. This may be because cats are very good at hiding their pain and discomfort, leading to the disease being in more advanced stages at diagnosis. These days there are effective treatments for many types of feline cancers and advances in research and technology are giving our cats a better chance at survival every day. Of course, early detection and diagnosis is key when it comes to cancer and greatly improved the success of treatment. The best way to detect a problem early is to know what to look for. Removing an inoperable tumor with Cannabis Oil

02:12
This slide show illustrates, four months worth of applications of a whole plant extract, Cannabis Oil. This was achieved with using multiple strains of the Cannabis plant. Our veterinarian informed our cat had feline leukemia and there was nothing that could be done. They suggested euthanasia as a remedy, we chose to use Cannabis oil. The action was almost magnetic in nature drawing the cancer out and turning it into a scab. Then the scab would dry up, release and fall off. The first set of applications resulted in an initial removal of the mass. The continual application resulted in the secondary removal. Trichomes or Keif were utilized as well to heal the affected area. This produced a coagulation effect that would lead to a hard scab within hours. During the four months of treatment I spoke to this cat continually. He seemed like he was trying to communicate back. With time and effort his vocalization skills seemed to improve everyday. Please check out the other videos on our Channel "Cannabis Oil Cat " to see the unbelievable demonstrations in Neuroplasticity. To see our full story , please visit the homepage on our website. How to Recognize Skin Cancer in Cats | Skin Cancer in Cats

06:00
When it comes to skin cancer, a cat's best friend is its hairy coat. Their dense fur shields their skin from UV rays and acts like a permanent sunscreen, which means that cats are less prone to skin cancer than people or thin-furred animals. However, cats can still get skin cancer. The most common feline skin cancer is squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). If you have a cat, you should be on the lookout for signs that it has skin cancer so that it can be treated as quickly as possible. Affecting the top or basal layer of skin and appearing along the head, neck, legs and chest, basal cell carcinomas are malignant tumors that increase in size and can spread to neighboring skin. Squamous cell carcinoma is one of the most common forms of skin cancer in cats. Welcome to Pets and Animals YouTube Channel. Here you'll find a lot of information about Animals and Pets. A Feline Mastectomy Surgery Performed By Dr. Borrego, a Veterinarian in Port Saint Lucie Florida

06:32
http://www.petsvet.com A feline mastectomy surgery performed by Dr. Borrego, a Veterinarian in Port Saint Lucie Florida. Mammary Tumors and Cancer in Cats Mammary tumors in cats is similar to breast cancer in women, and can be very serious. They are malignant approximately 90% of the time. This is why doing surgery to excise the tumor as soon as possible, is usually the best option. Before Surgery, blood work and x-rays shhould be taken of the chest. The bloodwork will give the Veterinarian a good idea of how the other organs are functioning. The x-ray will ensure that the cancer has not spread to the lungs, which is common in this type of cancer. After removal, the tumor should be sent to a lab for analysis. This will help the doctor determine whether the tumor was malignant or benign. It will also give the doctor a good idea whether all cancer cells were removed or not. It's also good for urinary tract infections or prevents crystals from forming in the urine, and it gets rid of those brown tear stains. In fact, it helped my cat who was near death get back on track. I really love this stuff. Less is more so please don't give your cat more than a recommended dose of 1/4 tsp diluted in 8 ozs. of water. They trust you, so don't hurt them. My cat, Sasha, had been sick for 3 weeks straight before I stumbled on this information. It really, really works. I thank God for it because I'm not sure if my cat would have survived. He lost a lot of weight while he was sick. He weighs 20 pounds and it was noticeable. Now, he's gained 80 percent of his weight back and he's not sick anymore. He got sick because I changed to high quality cat food, but he was too old to adjust to the change, so I had to switch him back. He is happy as a little clam now. He's birthday is in December. He will be 15 years old -- that's a major milestone for any cat. Sasha has since gone on to heaven, but he was 17 years old when he passed, and he had a fabulous quality of life before he passed. So, I could be the poster child for this stuff. RSO CANNABIS HEMP OIL SAVED MY CATS LIFE CURED FATTY LIVER DISEASE

03:58
Emily my cat was dying with dry yellow gums, yellow eyes, entire body skin was yellow wire jaundice from an advanced case of liver failure due to hepatic lipidosis. My cat was almost dead on day 14 of traditional animal vet care and $1000 dollars later. I was torn with a very tough decision when 14 days of IV fluid under the skin and force feeding every two hours was failing. With no more body weight to lose she was dying. Unable to hold her urine or move her body she would urinate without any control. My heart belongs to my dear Emily cat and she is my best friend. Emily has saved my life and I was determined to save hers after a vet purposefully killed her mother for instant "care credit" money cash paid in 24 hours to the vet. No they would not take hers too. She was obviously not making it on this vet plan. I decided to make the healing RSO oil and gave her 3 pin pricks a day. Within 30 hours she was drinking water, eating wet food and dry and urinating in her box. Thank you Rick Simpson I am eternally grateful!

Cat with FIP or Feline Infectious Peritonitis

06:07
Casper the persian cat was eating ok, but had fluid in the belly. Xrays and surgery revealed the problem to be a tumor in the intestine and feline infectious periotonitis or FIP. Surgery revealed fluid in the belly, and a tumor in the intestines. FIP is a virus that infects young cats or cats with poor immunity, especially in dense cat populations like catteries or feral cat colonies.

Sharon Kelly: Cannabis Killed My Terminal Stage IV Lung Cancer(Original Video)

13:34
Hi Everyone, This is my first time making a YouTube, I got a bit nervous & emotional but my intent is to give others HOPE, so please overlook my mistakes & delivery. My Story in brief: (Book to follow) Monday 16th December 2013 I had been complaining of a small niggling pain on my left side around my ribs for a few days but nothing too bad. I’d had an hour massage on the previous Friday so I thought that I was just feeling the after effects of that. As the days went on when I took a big deep breath I did have slight pain on my left side. So I got it checked out. On Thursday 19th December 2013 an ED Doctor found a mass on my left lung after a chest X-Ray this was quickly followed by CT with contrast. The ED Doctor came out & motioned for us to come into her office & sit down not saying a word. She opened the conversation with I’m so very sorry…..what?? I’m so very sorry. There appears to be a sizable mass in your left lung – what? What is it? Have you ever smoked? What? No? Never! The look on the Doctors face said it all. There seemed to be silence, just her looking at me & time seemed to be slowed down somehow. She kept saying sorry, sorry to give you this news so close to Christmas. What? She said she has contacted a Respiratory Registrar to come down to see me to book in for a biopsy of the mass. My head was spinning! I recall saying a number of times, what? No? What? I don’t smoke, I never have, what? Well we can remove it right? What? It’s like I could hear myself saying the same thing over & over but I couldn’t stop. But I’m so healthy. What? No? It really did feel like she was talking about someone else. It didn’t feel real. I was thinking to myself, it will be fine, Doctors will operate & take it out somehow, and it will be fine. But it wasn’t fine. After several attempts to biopsy the tumour, finally on Monday 13th January 2014 the Doctors were able to get a sample via a CT guided chest/lung biopsy through my back. The X-Ray taken 4 hours after to check the lung, showed a minor haemorrhage around the left lung mass & as a bonus they managed to give me a pneumothorax (partially collapsed lung). Wednesday 15th January we got the results, Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (adenocarcinoma) & a PET SCAN was booked to see if it had spread. As I was a non-smoker the Doctors were convinced that the lung would not be my primary. Friday 17th January 2014 – PET SCAN. The lung was the primary, 5cm mass, 2 lymph nodes in the chest & one in the base of the neck, fluid around my heart, and cancer in the pleura or lining of the lung. The Doctors told me as it had spread to the lining of my lung & lymph nodes they classified me as stage IV Terminal Lung Cancer with a prognosis of 6-9mth to live. Thursday 30th January 2014 1st chemo (5hrs) Thursday 6th February 2014 2nd Chemo (1hour) Friday 14th February 2014 we found out that the biopsy taken was EGFR positive mutation, so no more chemo, yah! Thursday 20th February 2014 start TARCEVA 150mg tablets (Erlotinib) Tuesday 25th February 2014 start juicing heaps of fresh cannabis leaves Wednesday 26th February 2014 my Husband cooked 1st batch of cannabis oil Sunday 20th April 2014 my Husband cooked 2nd batch of cannabis oil Tuesday 22nd April 2014 we received cannabis oil from an experienced Medical Cannabis activist that was prepared to help Tuesday 20th May 2014 we started experimenting with suppositories & eventually by mixing .5ml of organic coconut oil with .5ml cannabis oil in a 1ml syringe just straight up & in we call it ‘the backdoor method’. I believe that this was our break through & also with this method I experienced no ‘high’ & was able to have the full 1ml of cannabis oil per day as what was recommended for an aggressive cancer. Wednesday 3rd September 2014 PET scan Conclusion: complete metabolic response. Residual non-FDG avid scar tissue in the left upper lobe corresponding to the site of the previously intense FDG avid primary malignancy. NO CANCER!!! Yes, there is a lot more detail that I could go into but this is just a quick look at my year so far. I hope it helps someone if so, please let me know. My Husband & I would like to thank all the amazing people from around the world that helped us on a Facebook Group Site called ‘Cannabis Oil Success Stories’. Cat Coughing

00:50
PLEASE, if your cat has a cough like this, go see a vet. For Dakota, it was a cancerous tumor. Dakota, my 20 year old cat passed about a week after this video was taken. For a 20 year old cat, she was only in discomfort for the last couple days of her life. We miss her a lot. If your cat is coughing like this (and nothing comes up), please take it to the vet.

Detecting Lung Cancer

01:40
More than 200,000 cases of lung cancer are diagnosed each year in the United States. Doctors say many of those cancers can be caught early if patients are screened in time. Dr. Kenneth Tolep, a pulmonologist on the medical staff at Lee Health, says they can spot abnormalities on a patient’s lung during a lung screening. “Lung cancer is the most common cause of cancer death in both men and women in the United States and worldwide. It means that the patient has a malignant tumor within their lung and if caught early, it can be completely cured. That’s our job is to detect lung cancer before it causes symptoms.” Patients at risk for developing lung cancer are those who smoke or those who recently smoked, especially those with a 30 pack year smoking history. Patients at risk can be screened starting at age 55. “They would be sent for a cat scan. Cat scans would be scheduled on an outpatient basis and the machines are so good right now that when the patient gets their scan, the scan literally takes under one minute,” said Dr. Tolep. If doctors find anything concerning on the cat scan, they may have the patient get another cat scan or possibly a biopsy. “Our goal is to find asymptomatic stage one lung cancers and surgically remove them. Those people have a 65 percent chance of getting completely cured,” said Dr. Tolep. Doctors say 95 percent of nodules found on a cat scan are not cancerous and can be caused by lung infections. “Lifestyle modifications are certainly very important, whether or not the person has a cancer. We want to decrease their risk for developing cancer,” said Dr. Tolep. Doctors recommend patients stop smoking to lower their risk of developing cancer, and to get screened for lung cancer if they are at risk.
