This is the largest model train layout of the world. This beautiful model railway is called Miniatur Wonderland. The Miniatur Wonderland is Germany's largest and finest model railroad exhibit, and the largest of its kind in the world. The model railway layout is located in Hamburg, Germany. There are 50,525 ft of railway tracks in HO scale, divided into several sections, for example, Germany, Alps and Austria, City of Hamburg, America, Scandinavia, Switzerland and Italy. One of the most popular attractions, beside the model trains, is the replica of the Hamburg Airport because it is a fully functioning miniature airport complete with departures and landings of model airplanes.
