Have you reached a point in your life where you feel like no matter what you try the weight is not coming off and you just aren’t feeling like yourself anymore? Are you feeling like this is as good as it is going to get for you? Reality Check Time: √ As a 50-year-old mother of two young kids (16 and 10) I don't have time to feel, look or act old. Whatever old is these days. I just don't have time for it. √My body started falling apart on me. •sudden weight gain •hormonal body fat •mood swings •insomnia •foggy brain •you name it…. you are probably dealing with it right now. The Tried and True DIETS that I had been following in my youth no longer worked for me. I couldn't just CUT CALORIES and CLEAN UP MY NUTRITION and have things magically fall back into place. The real clincher for me was when I was diagnosed as a PRE-DIABETIC and I started showing all the symptoms of a FAILING THYROID. Add in sudden food intolerances, and before you know it, as much as you are trying to fight it, you are feeling, looking and acting old. Despite your best efforts. —————————————————- In 2015, I started researching Intermittent Fasting but I just couldn't connect to all the 20 and 30 somethings that were in Social Media showcasing their version of Intermittent Fasting. Starving all day and partying all night, just wasn't my thing anymore, maybe 30 years ago. But I was very interested in the idea of Intermittent Fasting because of how this younger generation was benefiting from that concept of FASTING. I mean FASTING has been around for years and years. So I stayed off Social Media and turned to medical books and published research on Intermittent Fasting. Much to my surprise, there were so many health and Anti-Aging benefits to Intermittent Fasting that I never knew about. In 2016, I made a promise to myself. That promise was to use my time and energy to educate myself about the aging process and healthy ways to deal with it. Instead of spending money on co-pays and prescriptions I bought books. Instead of spending hours in doctor's offices I decided to research, educate and implement. ———————————————— I am looking for MOTIVATED and SERIOUS women who are ready to EMBRACE the Aging Process using Intermittent Fasting. What Will Happen If You Eat Nothing for 7 Days

10:52
How to Fast. What if you decided to quit eating for an entire week? Would it be dangerous for your body? Nowadays, many people prefer to stick to periodical water fasting, so they don't consume any food and drink apart from water. Water fasting should last for no more than a couple of days, and you should consult with a doctor beforehand. Among its benefits are lower blood pressure, improved insulin and leptin sensitivity, lower cholesterol levels, and weight loss. The first and most important thing is not to jump into a long session of water fasting right away. Your first experience with it should last for about 2 days. As you plan your 7-day water fasting, try to pick a low-stress time in your life. Doing this during exam season or when you're moving house isn't the best time. TIMESTAMPS What will happen to your body if you stop eating 0:58 What will happen after the first 6 hours 1:59 What will happen after 3 days 2:47 What will happen after a week 3:29 What will happen after a month or up to 70 days 3:46 What is water fasting 4:52 What is intermittent fasting 6:00 How to perform a water fast 7:31 What to do after you’re done with fasting 9:22 Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY -For the first 6 hours of your “no food” period, everything's going to be just fine. -After 6 hours, your body begins to starve since there's not enough glucose in your blood. -After 3 “no food” days, your brain goes to another extreme and starts to break down your body's protein. This happens because proteins release amino acids, which can be converted into the glucose your body so desperately needs. -After one “no food” week, your immune system becomes extremely weak because it isn’t receiving any vitamins or minerals. -Starvation may lead to death after almost a month or up to 70 days. -There's one rule when it comes to water fasting: you don't consume any food and drink apart from water. According to specialists, water fasting should last for no more than a couple of days, and a consultation with a doctor beforehand is obligatory. -If you want to water fast because of the weight loss factor, you have another option: intermittent fasting. This means eating nothing (or just a few calories) for a certain period of time and then eating as usual for another period. -The first and most important thing is not to jump into a long session of water fasting right away. Your first experience with it should last for about 2 days. Listen to your body carefully during your first water fasting. -When you're done with your fasting, you should break it slowly. Easily digested foods like soups, juices, pureed fruit, white rice, and mashed potatoes are the best products for your first 2 days. How to Lower Cholesterol: LDL vs. HDL- Thomas DeLauer

08:06
Please Be Sure to Subscribe for 3x Videos Per Week! http://www.thomasdelauer.com How to Lower Cholesterol: LDL vs. HDL- Thomas DeLauer... Good vs. Bad Cholesterol: LDL cholesterol is not bad. HDL is not cholesterol and neither is LDL. “High” and “low” refer to the relative proportion of protein to fat in the bundle. HDL stands for High Density Lipoprotein. LDL stands for Low Density Lipoprotein. (There are three other lipoproteins; chylomicrons, VLDL and IDL) Cholesterol and fat are not water-soluble so they need to be carried around the body in something to do their vital work. The carriers of such substances are called lipoproteins. (4) Lipoproteins: Lipoproteins travel round the bloodstream and act as transporters. So LDL and HDL are carriers of cholesterol, as well as triglycerides and phospholipids and proteins. LDL is the carrier of fresh cholesterol and HDL is the carrier of recycled cholesterol. VLDL, LDL, and HDL: The liver is central to the regulation of cholesterol levels in the body. Not only does it synthesize cholesterol for export to other cells, but it also removes cholesterol from the body by converting it to bile salts and putting it into the bile where it can be eliminated in the feces. Chylomicrons and VLDL deliver TAG to cells in the body. Two types of lipoproteins are triglyceride-rich: the chylomicrons and VLDL. Chylomicrons are synthesized by enterocytes from lipids absorbed in the small intestine. VLDL is synthesized in the liver. The function of these lipoproteins is to deliver energy-rich triacylglycerol (TAG) to cells in the body (pink pathway). TAG is stripped from chylomicrons and VLDL through the action of lipoprotein lipase, an enzyme that is found on the surface of endothelial cells. HDL is involved in reverse cholesterol transport. Excess cholesterol is eliminated from the body via the liver, which secretes cholesterol in bile or converts it to bile salts. The liver removes LDL and other lipoproteins from the circulation by receptor-mediated endocytosis. It travels in the circulation where it gathers cholesterol to form mature HDL, which then returns the cholesterol to the liver via various pathways. LDL delivers cholesterol to cells in the body. As VLDL particles are stripped of triacylglycerol, they become more dense. These particles are remodeled at the liver and transformed into LDL. The function of LDL is to deliver cholesterol to cells, where it is used in membranes, or for the synthesis of steroid hormones. Cells take up cholesterol by receptor-mediated endocytosis. LDL binds to a specific LDL receptor and is internalized in an endocytic vesicle. Receptors are recycled to the cell surface, while hydrolysis in an endolysosome releases cholesterol for use in the cell. LDL is what we call a carrier protein, and one of its important jobs is to carry a fundamentally important chemical to every cell in the body. This chemical is a critical component of cell membranes, serves as a brain antioxidant, and is the raw material from which your body manufactures vitamin D, cortisol, estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. Study - The British Medical Journal (BMJ): The research team — comprised of experts from seven different countries — evaluated data collected from 19 studies on a total of 68,094 older adults. The team was seeking to determine if LDL cholesterol is associated with death in the older adults. According to the cholesterol hypothesis, it should directly relate. According to the BMJ study, it doesn’t. Researchers say almost 80 percent of the participants in the studies who had high LDL cholesterol did not die because of their cholesterol level. On the other hand, researchers discovered people with low levels of LDL cholesterol, or LDL-C, had the highest rates of death related to cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States. Dr Sunil Dargar - How do we do LDL cholesterol test?

02:26
Dr. Sunil Dargar, MBBS, MD, Pathologist, New Delhi, will discuss how to do LDL cholesterol test. New guidelines from American Heart Association talks about the relevance of cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL, HDL and other components in patient with cardiac risks and coronary vessel disease. Cholesterol is a steroid molecule which is required for mostly all essential functions and synthesis of steroids in the body. Low density lipoprotein (LDL) is a substance which leads to erosion of the inner surface of the blood vessels and can lead to plaque formation. Earlier to test LDL and other cholesterol components, an 8 hour fasting blood sample was required. But the new guidelines have stated that it is not required for a fasting blood sample.Dr. Dargar, hence will highlight the importance of the LDL test.

KSL 5 - Can Fasting Once or Twice a Week Reduce Cholesterol?

00:57
Intermittent fasting may improve health and extend longevity. Experts propose that health benefits from fasting occur by making the body switch to fat cells for energy. Fasting may also cause nutritional stress that speeds up cell repair and renews metabolic function. Individuals who fast may also improve their ability to control their diet. Unfortunately, it is not known whether those ideas are correct. This is why we've begun to study 128 people at risk of chronic diseases for whom a frequent but sustainable fasting regimen may provide meaningful health improvements. That study, named the WONDERFUL Trial, will be crucial to determine whether intermittent fasting is just a passing weight-loss fad or if it can provide real health benefits.

How To Lower Blood Sugar Immediately

05:00
You can find Sensolin here: https://www.truthnutra.com/sensolin-yt In the next 60 seconds I'm going to show how to lower blood sugar immediately and naturally increase insulin sensitivity. So first off, let's take a look at… What is insulin? Insulin is a hormone that's produced by the pancreas, that helps turn sugars from carbohydrates to energy. It also allows the body to store glucose for future use. The muscles and liver store the sugars as glycogen, which causes muscle cells to expand. Likewise, fat cells store the sugar as triglycerides and may expand as well. Now, what is insulin sensitivity, and insulin resistance. Insulin sensitivity is how receptive the body is to the insulin it produces. When the body is properly sensitive to insulin, it uses that insulin produced and effectively removes it from the bloodstream, making energy and storing glucose for later. A healthy body is sensitive to insulin, which means it needs to make less insulin to stay healthy. Better yet, being more insulin sensitive allows the body to utilize carbohydrates properly for more energy, building muscle, and will also help the body store less fat. What's even better, is that greater insulin sensitivity is going to lead to higher T levels in men. Now what are some signs that a person might have poor insulin sensitivity? Or have developed insulin resistance? Higher insulin levels can cause weight gain, higher insulin levels can cause aging, higher insulin levels can cause reduced T, higher insulin levels increases cravings for junk foods, and also leads to blood pressure issues. With all of this in mind, for anyone who feels as though they're one of those people who is constantly riding the blood sugar roller coaster, with blood sugar all over the place, depending on what you eat, when you eat, and you get hangry and get crazy when they don't have food, For everyone who needs help with blood sugar control and needs to increase their insulin sensitivity naturally, and for the good people out there who don't want to go take drugs to achieve this, I've got 3 natural compounds to use today to simply, and quickly increase insulin sensitivity naturally and get control over those cravings once again. Now the first thing is what's known as berberine. Now berberine is an alkaloid extract taken from various plants and it's been used in traditional chinese medicine for centuries. Some of the benefits of berberine include, anti-inflammatory and antidiabetic effects, improved intestinal health, improved cholesterol numbers, increased exercise performance, and decreased blood pressure. Now the recommended dosage for berberine is between 500-1500mg/day. It's also recommended to take this dosage split between 2-3 times throughout the day. Now next up, we have cinnamon ceylon oil. Cinnamon is commonly used as a spice but it's also known for its numerous biological effects on the body. The best type of cinnamon is ceylon because it has lower coumarin content. Cinnamon has a ton of benefits, including reducing the rate at which glucose enters the body, improved glucose usage in cells, lower fasting blood sugar, and improved cholesterol levels. Now the recommended dosage for daily cinnamon intake is between 1-6g per day. And the third compound, the third natural ingredient that you can consume on a daily basis is actually what's known as chromium. Chromium is an essential mineral that's consumed through your diet. It's found in plant products and grains. The benefits of chromium include, a regulation of glucose metabolism, improved insulin sensitivity, it is used to treat glucose intolerance in type 2 diabetes, leads to a great reduction in appetite, improved symptoms of depression, and a noticeable increase in libido with the right amount of chromium. Now the daily recommended dosage of chromium is between 800-1000 mcg. At this point, some of y'all are probably wondering: where do we get all these things? One option is to search around on Amazon and try to find them, but we did at Truth Nutra is that we put together a supplement known as Sensolin (hold up sensolin bottle). Sensolin is specifically designed with these three ingredients at the exact clinical dosages shown in human studies to actually work, to actually help regulate blood glucose and to help with insulin sensitivity. Now we put them all in here, it's a very simple supplement. And it actually works. What Intermittent Fasting Does To Your Testosterone Levels

07:19
Intermittent fasting is something people have been doing for a long time. Recently fasting has been re-emerging as a health trend. But, just how effective is fasting at increasing testosterone levels? There are a lot of claims out there about fasting decreasing as well as increasing testosterone and so I want to clear the air. It seems that regular short-term fasting may decrease testosterone levels slightly, but not to the extent where it would be noticeable for fat loss, muscle retention and strength. Some studies suggest fasting may help increase luteinizing hormone, decrease leptin and increase androgen sensitivity which is good when it comes to testosterone. Overall, more research needs to be done taking into account different variables. Whether you choose to do intermittent fasting comes down to personal preference. You’ll get similar results either way, so just do what works for you. lipids test **اختبار الدهون

03:08
complete cholesterol test is also called a lipid panel or lipid profile. Your doctor can use it to measure the amount of “good” and “bad” cholesterol and triglycerides, a type of fat, in your blood. Cholesterol is a soft, waxy fat that your body needs to function properly. However, too much cholesterol can lead to: heart disease stroke atherosclerosis, a clogging or hardening of your arteries If you’re a man, you should get your cholesterol levels checked regularly, starting by age 35 or younger. If you’re a woman, you should begin routine cholesterol screening by age 45 or younger. To be on the safe side, you may want to get your cholesterol tested every five years beginning as early as age 20. If you’ve been diagnosed with diabetes, heart disease, stroke, or high blood pressure, or if you’re taking medication to control your cholesterol levels, you should check your cholesterol every year. Who Is at Risk of High Cholesterol? Cholesterol testing is very important if you: have a family history of high cholesterol or heart disease are overweight or obese drink alcohol frequently smoke cigarettes lead an inactive lifestyle have diabetes, kidney disease, polycystic ovary syndrome, or an underactive thyroid gland All of these things can increase your risk of developing high cholesterol. What Does a Cholesterol Test Measure? A complete cholesterol test measures four types of lipids, or fats, in your blood: Total cholesterol: This is the total amount of cholesterol in your blood. Low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol: This is referred to as “bad” cholesterol. Too much of it raises your risk of heart attack, stroke, and atherosclerosis. High-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol: This is referred to as “good” cholesterol because it helps remove LDL cholesterol from your blood. Triglycerides: When you eat, your body converts the calories it doesn’t need into triglycerides, which are stored in your fat cells. People who are overweight, diabetic, eat too many sweets, or drink too much alcohol can have high triglyceride levels. Preparation for a Cholesterol Test In some cases, your doctor may ask you to fast before having your cholesterol levels tested. If you’re only getting your HDL and total cholesterol levels checked, you may be able to eat beforehand. However, if you’re having a complete lipid profile done, you should avoid eating or drinking anything other than water for nine to 12 hours before your test. Before your test, you should also tell your doctor about: any symptoms or health problems you’re experiencing your family history of heart health all medications and supplements that you’re currently taking If you’re taking medications that could increase your cholesterol levels, such as birth control pills, your doctor may ask you to stop taking them a few days before your test. How Is a Cholesterol Test Performed? To check your cholesterol levels, your doctor will need to get a sample of your blood. You will probably have your blood drawn in the morning, sometimes after fasting since the night before. A blood test is an outpatient procedure. It takes only a few minutes and is relatively painless. It’s usually performed at a diagnostic lab. In some cases, it can also be performed during a regular doctor visit, at a local pharmacy, or even at home. Walk-in clinic rates can cost anywhere from $50 to $100. Cholesterol testing at a local pharmacy can cost $5 to $25. An at-home test can cost anywhere from $15 to $25, while tests that need to be shipped to a lab can average $75 to $200. There are very few risks associated with having your blood drawn for a cholesterol test. You may feel slightly faint or have some soreness or pain at the site where your blood was drawn. There’s also a very slight risk of infection at the puncture site. What Do the Test Results Mean? Cholesterol levels are measured in milligrams (mg) of cholesterol per deciliter (dL) of blood. Ideal results for most adults are: LDL: 70 to 130 mg/dL (the lower the number, the better) HDL: more than 40 to 60 mg/dL (the higher the number, the better) total cholesterol: less than 200 mg/dL (the lower the number, the better) triglycerides: 10 to 150 mg/dL (the lower the number, the better) If your cholesterol numbers are outside of the normal range, you may be at a higher risk of heart disease, stroke, and atherosclerosis. If your test results are abnormal, your doctor may order a blood glucose test to check for diabetes. Your doctor might also order a thyroid function test to determine if your thyroid is underactive.

Fasting Cholesterol - 4/1225

01:26
http://FoodsHighInCholesterol.info -- Do you know your Normal Cholesterol Level? I had a Cholesterol Check recently, a Fasting Cholesterol type - 12 hours with no food ! When I got my Cholesterol Readings - guess what! - High Cholestrol ! My favourite Shell Fish is on my BANNED LIST but I found this article which says its actually good for my HDL cholesterol :- http://www.articlesbase.com/nutrition-articles/foods-high-in-cholesterol-good-or-bad-the-shellfish-debate-1605513.html I knew that I should go on a Diet For High Cholesterol or at least a Diet To Lower Cholesterol with Cholesterol Lowering Foods but the advice from doctors is very confusing. I knew there would be a link between my Cholesterol and Diet but all these High Cholesterol Diets are different. Should I go for a Cholesterol Free Diet or a Low Fat Low Cholesterol Diet. I thought that I would just have to avoid Foods High In Cholesterol but apparently not, it seems that the best way for Lowering Cholestrol is not Cholesterol Diet Food but to do with the saturated fats in foods. So to Lower Cholestrol I'm going to look at an LDL Diet which will get rid of my High Cholesteral.
