Homeless Man Shares Heartbreaking Story of Family Tragedy and Cancer.

12:56
I interviewed Michael last year in Traverse City, Michigan. After his five-year-old son died, he lost everything and crashed into homelessness. Here is a link to last year's interview https://youtu.be/ZiUFJuQBJmw This week I was back out on the streets of Traverse City with an outreach team. They told me Michael was still homeless and he wanted to talk to me. They updated me a little on what happened in the last year. My heart broke listening to how Michael has gone through more tragedy. After I interviewed Michael last year, he was able to get inside for around four months. He was living in a house with his fiancée and a group of people. Michael's fiancée passed away, and he could not stay in the house any longer. I was told by people connected to Michael it was very tragic. As if that's not heartbreaking enough, Micheal's other son was killed a few months back by an improvised explosive device (IED) while serving our country. Then a few days later, his brother was murdered. Even worse, Michael was recently diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He says that cancer has already spread from his pancreas all the way to his right side. Michael says he has a year to live. All though Michael has suffered more tragedy, he claims to be happy. I can't even imagine what he must be going through. The public needs to understand that homeless people are not homeless by choice. If you look past the homelessness, the drug abuse, and the mental illness you'll often find layers of trauma. Everyone deals with pain and suffering differently. When you see that homeless man on the streets, the public needs to know there is a story behind the person. ________________________________________________ Subscribe here: https://www.youtube.com/c/invisiblepeople?sub_confirmation=1 Invisible People’s website: http://invisiblepeople.tv Support Invisible People: https://invisiblepeople.tv/donate On Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/invisiblepeople Invisible People’s Social Media: https://www.youtube.com/invisiblepeople https://twitter.com/invisiblepeople https://www.instagram.com/invisiblepeople https://www.facebook.com/invisiblepeopletv Mark Horvath’s Twitter: https://twitter.com/hardlynormal About Invisible People: Since its launch in November 2008, Invisible People has leveraged the power of video and the massive reach of social media to share the compelling, gritty, and unfiltered stories of homeless people from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. Homeless Man Is Working Full Time While Living in a Homeless Shelter.

06:12
Eric lives in a homeless shelter in Traverse City, Michigan. He also works full time as a cook in a local restaurant. Over the winter, Eric stayed in the emergency shelter. He talks about the challenges homeless people with jobs face while living in a homeless shelter. Most shelters are not set up for second or third shift workers. The leading cause of homelessness is the lack of affordable housing. Because of that, more people with jobs just cannot afford a place to live and end up becoming working homeless. ________________________________________________ Subscribe here: https://www.youtube.com/c/invisiblepeople?sub_confirmation=1 Invisible People's website: http://invisiblepeople.tv Support Invisible People: https://invisiblepeople.tv/donate On Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/invisiblepeople Invisible People's Social Media: https://www.youtube.com/invisiblepeople https://twitter.com/invisiblepeople https://www.instagram.com/invisiblepeople https://www.facebook.com/invisiblepeopletv Mark Horvath's Twitter: https://twitter.com/hardlynormal About Invisible People: Since its launch in November 2008, Invisible People has leveraged the power of video and the massive reach of social media to share the compelling, gritty, and unfiltered stories of homeless people from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. More from Inside Edition: https://www.youtube.com/user/cbstvdinsideedition?sub_confirmation=1 The Michigan mom who got her dream home on reality TV is now living a nightmare. Arlene Nickless' home was completely transformed on ABC's 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' in 2008. Nine years later, she has been evicted. Inside Edition cameras were rolling as she and her family scrambled to pack her furniture and personal belongings out of the 3,200-square-foot house and into a moving van. "The sheriff could show up anytime," she said. "We'd have to leave whatever's left behind."

AAE tv | Emergence of the Advanced Human | Micheila Sheldan | 6.2.18

01:55:09
In this live lecture and demonstration given in Rochester Hills, Michigan on February 17th, 2018, Micheila Sheldan channels a variety of beings and collectives including the Council of Light, Pleiadians, St. Thomas of Aquinas and Arcturians. The Council of Light provides an update about the shifts going on within Mother Earth, including the installation of the new grid, pole reversal and accompanying planetary and solar alignments and their effects on humans. They define this time on the planet as the emergence of the new human, connecting our physical and non-physical energy bodies as one. The Council offers detailed information about the changes going on within our physical bodies and light bodies, as well as how to perceive these changes to enhance their integration. Examples and processes are given specifically related to the adjustment of our physical bodies to these intense planetary shifts including working within the space between the physical and non-physical energy fields where density accumulates. There are many audience questions answered on topics ranging from singular vs. collective energy, crystalizing water and reincarnation to cancer, mental illness, soul mates and crystal children. The Pleiadians give an excellent explanation of how to raise our vibration. About Micheila Sheldan Micheila Sheldan is an intuitive channel, Executive Director of the Flower of Life Center for Human Evolution and Marketing Director of the Awake and Empowered Expo. During a struggle to overcome chronic pain, Micheila experienced a shift of awakening, discovering her intuitive gifts and launching a journey to better understand her connection to the spirit world. Micheila has the ability to channel a variety of multi-dimensional, extraterrestrial and angelic beings to answer questions about our history, current challenges and where we are headed in the future. She joins Ethann each month on Awake and Empowered TV to bring universal channeled messages to the listening audience. By tuning in each week, listeners will gain inspiration and tools to maintain and raise their vibration, as well as heal and open their energy field, by directly connecting with the consciousness of multi-dimensional beings who are here to support our evolution. she has experienced astoundingly accurate results. She often receives visions of significant past life experiences and describe how they are impacting a client’s present journey. www.micheilasheldan.com Awake and Empowered TV with Ethann Fox on CCN (aae.tv) As the energy of our planet is shifting and changing, many who are awakening have come to realize their world is quite different than they were taught and had imagined. To support an emerging shift of consciousness in the world, now more than ever, people are in need of real world tools, and inspiration to cause positive change and support a higher vibration. Harnessing the Power of Natural Killer Cell For Enhanced Immunity, Longevity, Performance & Beyond.

56:01
https://bengreenfieldfitness.com/killercells My guest on today's podcast Jonathan Clinthorne, PhD, has an intimate knowledge regarding the role that diet plays in immune function. Although it flies under the radar in nutrition science, the idea that certain nutrients can interact with the function of a type of cell known as a natural killer (NK) cell is very unique, an enchanting concept and certainly cutting edge, especially when you consider the role of mTOR activators such as leucine, and mTOR suppressors such as calorie restriction and intermittent fasting on NK cell maturation and function. Dr. Clinthorne is an ultra-endurance athlete who was awarded his PhD in Human Nutrition from Michigan State University. He has served on numerous medical advisory boards and has been an author or coauthor on a number of research papers covering topics such as aging, caloric restriction, omega-3 fatty acids, probiotics, immune function, inflammation and human nutrition. When not working as the Manager of Scientific Affairs and Nutrition Education at Natural Grocers, you can find Jonathan running, climbing or skiing in the mountains of Colorado. Jonathan happens to have an expert working knowledge of exactly to manipulate NK cell function on a daily basis to provide yourself with the most appropriate immune response for the season or around times of intense competition such as a triathlon or marathon, and during our discussion, you'll discover: -How Jonathan discovered the intriguing link between NK cells and calorie restriction while studying human nutrition...[9:30] -Why an NK cell needs to be given a "license to kill", and how that can happen...[13:00] -What keeps NK cells from destroying your own tissue...[15:20] -How the active hexose correlated compound one can find in mushroom extracts are particularly effective for NK cell activation, and the type of mushroom that works best...[22:15] -The link between intermittent fasting, caloric restriction and NK cell protection against respiratory infections in athletes...[24:30] -Whether wine or resveratrol can activate NK cell function, and why they need to be limited to ensure the hormetic response to exercise isn't blunted...[28:50] -How curcumin can be used correctly to lower the risk of flues and respiratory tract infections...[31:35] -The fascinating concept of how the bacteria in your lungs take cues from the bacteria in your gut...[34:30] -Why you should avoid folic acid and folate on the label of a multivitamin...[40:50] -And much more! *Earth’s Axis Has Shifted!* And The Sky Has Changed.

06:16
The Sky Changed Earth's Axis Has Shifted Earth's Axis has changed There will probably be more bad weather over the next month. Possibly into March and early April as well. Northeast is being pounded with historic levels of “Snow hurricanes” The sun which should never be farther north than the tropic of Cancer in Mid Mexico or farther south than the Tropic of Capricorn in Mid Australia is now significantly beyond those points. The sun is now about 2000 miles too far north in the summer shining in our northern windows and too far south in the winter shining in their southern facing windows at sunrise and sunset. The orbit around the sun had possibly altered the direction of the angle observations and measurements of the abnormal position of the sun due to a significant shift of our axis in Dec 2004 is now verified. However, it has also significantly shifted again in the past year for the first time since 2004. You can measure it for yourself when you see the sun position is too far north of your home in June (northern hemisphere) when it should never be north of the Tropic of Cancer and too far south in the winter. Many people are not aware of the situation. You can check out the sun position and verify the weather changes Read more here: Earth's Axis has changed https://axischange.wordpress.com/ The Inuits are indigenous people that inhabit the arctic regions of Canada, the United States and Greenland and throughout history their very lives have been dependent on being able to correctly forecast weather.... and they are warning NASA and the world that global warming isn't the cause of what we are seeing with extreme weather, earthquakes and other events. The earth has shifted, tilted or as they put it, "wobbled" to the north and they all agree "Their sky has changed!" The elders maintain the Sun doesn't rise were it used to, they have longer day light to hunt and the Sun is higher than it used to be and warms up quicker than before. The elders who were interviewed across the north all said the same thing, their sky has changed. The stars the Sun and the Moon have all changed affecting the temperature, even affecting the way the wind blows, it is becoming increasingly hard to predict the weather, something that is a must on the Arctic. The elders all agree, they believe the Earth has shifted, wobbled or tilted to the North. 2018 Isaac Asimov Memorial Debate: Artificial Intelligence

Isaac Asimov’s famous Three Laws of Robotics might be seen as early safeguards for our reliance on artificial intelligence, but as Alexa guides our homes and automated cars replace human drivers, are those Three Laws enough? Neil deGrasse Tyson, Frederick P. Ocean of Stories: Telling Tales through Tagore's Music and Poetry

01:48:00
http://southasia.berkeley.edu/ Mousumi Banerjee is a Professor of Biostatistics at the University of Michigan (UM) School of Public Health and the Cancer Center at University of Michigan. Professionally she lives in a world of hard science, trying to make sense of data to move cancer research and treatment forward. But Rabindranath lives in her heart − among quiet trees that bend over blue waters, amidst the smell of hasnuhana on a summer night, the touch of August rains caressing her face, and the sound of silence in a wooded path faraway from home. For Mousumi, Rabindranath’s songs and poetry give expression to her emotions everyday, her deepest joys and sorrows, her love and separation, her prayers and her gratitude. Rabindranath’s oeuvre has indeed become her way of life. Alongside her professional career, Mousumi has been singing and cultivating Rabindrasangeet for more than two decades. She trained under Sri Subir Bhattacharyya of Kolkata, India. Mousumi performs regularly in live shows in the USA and India. Her perception of Tagore, combined with her diction and soulful style of singing creates an universal appeal that transcends barriers of language and nationality, and has been highly acclaimed by audiences in both countries. She has also appeared as an invited artist in Tara Muzik (Aaj Shokaler Amontroney) on multiple occasions. In the USA, she has been involved in collaborations with the Department of Jazz and Improvisation at the School of Music and the Center for South Asian Studies at Michigan to showcase and perform Tagore’s works. In 2012 she was the lead soloist performing with the University of Michigan Choir and Strings Ensemble in a unique event celebrating 150th birth anniversary of Tagore through Western interpretations of his music. Mousumi regularly holds workshops and lecture demonstrations in the USA with the aim of propagating Tagore’s music and poetry to the broader Western community. Mousumi has released two CDs. Hriday Amar Prakash Holo is Mousumi’s first Rabindrasangeet album. It contains 11 songs ranging from Prem to Puja parjaye. Nijer Rabindranath, her second album, is a unique reflection of her personal, ekanta apon Rabindranath through memories, songs, poetry, and music. Mousumi is the Executive Director of a non-profit foundation Tagore Beyond Boundaries whose aim is to propagate Tagore’s music to the global audience by creating western classical transcriptions of Rabindrasangeet that can be adopted by the world music fraternity. A note on Rabindranath Tagore's Songs Rabindranath Tagore was the first Asian to win the Nobel Prize, in 1913. Best known for his poems and songs, he was a prolific writer in Bengali and translator in English, a statesman, and later in life, also an artist. Tagore’s versatile genius found manifestation in almost every facet of fine art. One of the most outstanding amongst them is Rabindrasangeet (sangeet meaning music), a form of music composed by Tagore, that added a new dimension to the musical concept of India in general, and Bengal in specific. Rabindrasangeet embodies a breathtaking fusion of Tagore’s musicianship and poetic genius. Such was the impact of this creation, that it not only withstood the test of time for more than a century, but also secured a unique place in the subcontinent’s musical culture. Tagore wrote some 2200+ songs which are part of a collection called Gitabitan (The Music Garden). For the musical compositions he primarily used Indian classical music and traditional folk music as sources. Several of his compositions also bear the influence of Western music. Tagore used the elements of Indian classical music in an extremely intelligent and effective fashion, dictated principally by the perceived requirements of the mood evoked in the song, which was after all the core entity of his creation. Tagore characterized his music as Bhavsangeet, and sought to emphasize “Bhav” or emotion over technique. He therefore classified his compositions into Parjayes or themes in terms of their emotional appeal as Puja (devotion), Prem (love), Prakriti (nature) and Swadesh (patriotism). Being Bhavsangeet, Rabindrasangeet has a universal appeal, transcending barriers of language and nationality. The cause of universality is furthered by Tagore’s unfettered acceptance of musical styles from lands faraway and near, which he synthesized and harmonized to constitute his own, inimitable genre of music.

Three Fingered Jim Ended up Homeless after Getting Hurt on the Job.

05:12
Most of the people in or around Traverse City, Michigan referred to Jimmy as Three Fingered Jim or Jimmy Three Fingers. Jim was a certified Harley-Davidson mechanic. He got his hand caught in a chain link sprocket and lost two fingers. Because he was no longer able to work, shortly after the accident his home was foreclosed on and he lost everything. That happened in 2007. Jim was homeless for ten years! Jim was on pain medications and could not work. He was turned down for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) five times. He survived without an income because of the support from friends and the grace of God. The day I met Jim we were visiting Kalkaska, Michigan. The winters in Michigan are brutal for anyone living outside. Jim shared that summers can also be dangerous. That last 4th of July, a group of 20-year-old kids came through their camp and beat all the of the homeless people there savagely. UPDATE: Sometimes it can take me months to upload a video. Since this interview, Jim was placed into housing. Three months later Jim died from pneumonia. Each week, they’re on InvisiblePeople.tv, and high traffic sites such as YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, proving to a global audience that while they may often be ignored, they are far from invisible. Invisible People goes beyond the rhetoric, statistics, political debates, and limitations of social services to examine poverty in America via a medium that audiences of all ages can understand, and can’t ignore. The vlog puts into context one of our nation’s most troubling and prevalent issues through personal stories captured by the lens of Mark Horvath – its founder – and brings into focus the pain, hardship and hopelessness that millions face each day. One story at a time, videos posted on InvisiblePeople.tv shatter the stereotypes of America’s homeless, force shifts in perception and deliver a call to action that is being answered by national brands, nonprofit organizations and everyday citizens now committed to opening their eyes and their hearts to those too often forgotten. And when your father turns to stone, Will you take care of me?" I will make you queen of everything you see, I'll put you on the map, I'll cure you of disease. Let's say we up and left this town, And turned our future upside down. We'll make pretend that you and me, Lived ever after happily. She asked me, "Son, when I grow old, Will you buy me a house of gold? And when your father turns to stone, Will you take care of me?" I will make you queen of everything you see, I'll put you on the map, I'll cure you of disease. And since we know that dreams are dead, And life turns plans up on their head, I will plan to be a bum, So I just might become someone. She asked me, "Son, when I grow old, Will you buy me a house of gold? And when your father turns to stone, Will you take care of me?" I will make you queen of everything you see, I'll put you on the map, I'll cure you of disease.
