https://democracynow.org - A leaked FBI counterterrorism memo claims that so-called black identity extremists pose a threat to law enforcement. That’s according to Foreign Policy magazine, which obtained the document written by the FBI’s Domestic Terrorism Analysis Unit. The memo was dated August 3, 2017—only days before the deadly white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, where white supremacists, Ku Klux Klan members and neo-Nazis killed one anti-racist protester, Heather Heyer, and injured dozens more. But the report is not concerned with the violent threat of white supremacists. Instead, the memo reads: “The FBI assesses it is very likely Black Identity Extremist perceptions of police brutality against African Americans spurred an increase in premeditated, retaliatory lethal violence against law enforcement and will very likely serve as justification for such violence.” Civil liberties groups have slammed the FBI report, warning the “black identity extremists” designation threatens the rights of protesters with Black Lives Matter and other groups. Many have also compared the memo to the FBI’s covert COINTELPRO program of the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s, which targeted the civil rights movement. We speak with Malkia Cyril, co-founder and executive director of the Center for Media Justice as well as a Black Lives Matter Bay Area activist. On the major social and political issues of our time, Walter Williams is one of America’s most important and provocative thinkers. He is black, yet he opposes affirmative action. He believes that the Civil Rights Act was a major error, that the minimum wage actually creates unemployment and that occupational and business licensure and industry regulation work against minorities and others in American business. Perhaps most importantly he has come to believe that it has been the welfare state that has done to black Americans what slavery could never do: destroy the black family. Walter Williams expresses all of these provocative ideas and more in this new public television documentary produced by Free To Choose Network. The program features material drawn from extensive contemporary interviews with Dr. Williams as well as appearances by authors and scholars: Shelby Steele, Thomas Sowell, Douglas Ginsberg and others. A rich archive of photographs and motion pictures supports this uniquely American story. The program traces Walter Williams rise from a child of the Philadelphia housing projects to become one of America’s most important authors and commentators and features the events of the 1960's when Walter Williams realized "black people cannot make great progress until they understand the economic system." It was then that he concluded that what America needed was to heed the words and the ideas of the Constitution. Check out our Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/FreeToChoose... On Monday, the House Committee on Energy and Commerce posted Zuckerberg's prepared testimony, in which the 33-year-old billionaire said his company needed to do more to protect the privacy of its users. Dirty money tied to George Soros and Hillary Clinton was used to pay women to falsely accuse President Trump of sexual harassment, according to a bombshell New Year’s Day report in the New York Times. Investigative reporter John Solomon, writing for the Hill, revealed that payouts were made by attorney Lisa Bloom to women who were willing to come forward with stories of sexual harassment against President Trump. Money was a lure. One accuser was offered $750,000 and another had the mortgage on her home paid off. The New York Times on Sunday revealed the names of two of the backers and both are tied to the Resistance, Soros, and Hillary Clinton. The New York Times named David Brock, a George Soros henchman, and Clinton’s longtime friend Susie Tompkins Buell, who steered hundreds of thousands of dollars to the effort before election day. The report states: Two Democrats familiar with the arrangements said a nonprofit group founded by Mr. Brock, American Bridge 21st Century Foundation, gave $200,000, while the fashion entrepreneur Susie Tompkins Buell, a major donor to Mr. Brock’s suite of groups, gave $500,000 to Ms. Bloom’s firm for the last-ditch effort. It was not productive. One woman requested $2 million, Ms. Bloom said, then decided not to come forward. Nor did any other women. Buell, founder of the Esprit clothing line, is a close friend of Hillary Clinton’s and a left-wing donor. Her Facebook page is extreme left and includes support for the Marxist hate group Black Lives Matter. David Brock not only has ties to Hillary Clinton and George Soros, he is the Resistance, not only to Trump, but to Fox News. He donated $200,000 to the effort. In January last year, the Washington Free Beacon obtained a confidential memo from longtime Clinton ally David Brock that alleges he will use his PAC, American Bridge, to set the wheels in motion to impeach the President. This will be a multi-year project. He hoped to build a network of donors that rivals the right-leaning Koch Brothers. He succeeded in forming the shady network. Brock brought together deep-pocketed leftists to fund the well-organized campaign of subversive activities to take down the President. The memo/manifesto about the plan, “Democracy Matters: Strategic Plan for Action,” outlines Brock’s four-year agenda to attack Trump and Republicans using Media Matters, American Bridge, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), and Shareblue, each with their own strategy and attack plan. Clinton denied knowing about the efforts and Ms. Bloom said the money wasn’t for payoffs but to guarantee the protection of women who came forward. Bloom maintained that she represented only clients whose stories she had corroborated and disputed the premise that she offered money to coax clients to come forward, the paper reported. “We would pay for the legal defense of Trump accusers,” Brock told Politico. In the same report, Bloom’s shady mother and attorney Gloria Allred told Politico, “If any women who are making allegations of inappropriate [conduct] contact me, I would be happy to speak to them and then decide if I would be able to represent them.” John Solomon noted in his report, Bloom’s efforts to bring forward accusers included “offering to sell alleged victims’ stories to TV outlets in return for a commission for herself, arranging a donor to pay off one Trump accuser’s mortgage and attempting to secure a six-figure payment for another woman who ultimately declined to come forward after being offered as much as $750,000.” There are other donors and one can imagine them all being part of the Brock impeachment movement. Support Atheist Republic: http://www.AtheistRepublic.com/ Armin Navabi on Twitter: https://twitter.com/ArminNavabi/ Thousands protest against anti-Islam, anti-immigration rally at Vancouver City - Saturday, Agust 19 2017 Armin Navabi: "I think we have to acknowledge that white supremacy and bigotry are real problems, call it out when we see it, and talk to people who hold these bad ideas. But when we label everything we disagree with as bigotry, racism or Nazism, we will be less effective at tackling these problems, and might even drive more people who were worried or angry towards bigotted viewpoints. The solution is more listening and more discussions. Labeling people as Nazis without even talking to them and shaming them for having views we disagree with is counterproductive. What I saw at this rally was mostly hate. But not from where you would expect it. I saw hate from people who were holding signs of love and peace. I saw people shouting "coward" at the few people who were brave enough to stand up to a mob who did not have the courage to listen to people that might challenge their views. I saw people shouting "fuck you Nazi scum" and "drop dead hater" at people they didn't even bother to listen to before judging. I saw signs ripped apart, their holders drowned out and booed away by people asking for tolerance. I heard the speaker starting a chant 'I believe that we will win.' It might have looked like a win in the short-run, but you can't just wish racism away. If this is our solution, it will come back and haunt us as problems that will be much harder to fix." Armin Navbi: "Based on my experience many Muslims are willing to have civil discussions about uncomfortable topics. You can see this in the video as well. Silencing the expression of these ideas only isolates those who hold them and encourages their manifestation in bigoted and xenophobic ways. By doing so, the left is hurting the very Muslims they pretend to protect." For the past 15 years, the Center for American Progress has served as a creative engine for introducing bold solutions that advance progressive values on nearly every possible front. In the past year alone, we have defended the Affordable Care Act; outlined policies to create workplaces that support women and families; discussed the impact of race across a wide range of issue areas; and helped drive opposition to President Donald Trump’s tax plan. At CAP, we believe that ideas are the heart of all progressive change, but we also know that ideas aren’t enough. It takes grassroots advocacy and real leadership supporting those ideas to create true progressive change. As we celebrate our 15th year of big ideas, CAP is bringing together elected officials, policy experts, cultural influencers, and grassroots activists at the 2018 CAP Ideas Conference, where we will explore and unveil new ideas that can make America a place for every single one of us to thrive. On April 7, 2017, CSREA presented a symposium entitled, The U.S. Immigration Regime and the Politics of Belonging. How have immigration laws developed over the past century and how do these policies continue to affect the country today? For example, what are the legacies of IRCA and IRRIRA and how are these policies being amended and applied today? Further, and in light of the Trump administration’s current positions on immigration, recent executive orders as well as public demonstrations and protests, what will define the future of immigration in the U.S.? This symposium featured a keynote lecture followed by a panel of speakers and a discussion among speakers and the audience. Together, the speaker and panelists offered a rich, informed and interdisciplinary take on the past, present and possible futures of the U.S. immigration regime, race, ethnicity and the politics of belonging. (26 Nov 2015) RESTRICTION SUMMARY: AP CLIENTS ONLY AP TELEVISION - AP CLIENTS ONLY Chicago - 25 November, 2015 1. People in community meeting watching police video of Laquan McDonald shooting 2. SOUNDBITE (English) Danton Floyd, activist: "So the first thing I ask is that we stop being so reactionary. I didn't need to see that video because I've been seeing that my whole life. It's not the first time police have killed some brother. Right? It's the first time these fools got caught for it. That's all." 3. People watching video 4. SOUNDBITE (English) Jeff Baker, activist: "If you had the power to write the police rule book, would pulling the trigger be the first or the last option? (UPSOUND Crowd: 'Last.') If you had the power to hire and fire police, would officers with excessive force complaints be embraced by the police force or expelled? (UPSOUND Crowd: 'Expelled.') If you had the power to define what excessive force is and what necessary force is, would there be 12-year-olds shot in the park? Would there be 82-year-olds slammed in their doorway because they wouldn't open the door for you?" 5. Woman taking notes 6. SOUNDBITE (English) Alexandra Navedo, activist: "The reality is that our children are scared. They're scared to come to us. They're scared to talk to us. They're scared to talk to their teachers. They're scared to talk to their parents. They're scared. They don't know. They don't understand what's going on. They have no hope." 7. People in meeting 8. SOUNDBITE (English) Willie Fleming, activist: "The Laquan McDonald video is not just an isolated incident. It is a pattern of abuse that has been taking place in the black community, perpetrated by the Chicago Police Department for far too long." 9. People in meeting 10. SOUNDBITE (English) Patricia Hill, former police officer, and activist: "We are understanding now that they had this video for 16 months. But they participated in what's described as concealment. And real quick, I'm going to give you the definition of concealment as it applies to Illinois law: Concealment is the act of hiding something or preventing it from being known. OK? I didn't make that up. That's what they did. And they're admitting it." 11. Wide people in meeting STORYLINE: Some residents and activists in the US city of Chicago held a community meeting on Wednesday during which they watched the police video of an officer fatally shooting 17-year-old Laquan McDonald last year. The meeting comes a day after authorities released the graphic squad-car video showing the officer shooting the black teen 16 times. The officer, Jason Van Dyke, was charged with first-degree murder. A number of police killings of black men over the past year have given rise to the nationwide "Black Lives Matter" movement, pushing the issue to prominence in the midst of the 2016 presidential campaign. Activists at the meeting vented anger at the Chicago Police Department and its history of covering up bad behaviour. =========================================================== Clients are reminded: (i) to check the terms of their licence agreements for use of content outside news programming and that further advice and assistance can be obtained from the AP Archive on: Tel +44 (0) 20 7482 7482 Email: firstname.lastname@example.org (ii) they should check with the applicable collecting society in their Territory regarding the clearance of any sound recording or performance included within the AP Television News service (iii) they have editorial responsibility for the use of all and any content included within the AP Television News service and for libel, privacy, compliance and third party rights applicable to their Territory. (web) http://festivalofideas.wvu.edu/events/spring-2016-series/panel-discussion Fake news is nothing new, but the anonymity of the social web has allowed it to spread faster and farther than ever before. At the same time, people are seeking and sharing information that reinforces their political views, added by algorithms that targets stories directly to them. The end result is a public that is finding it harder to discern fact from fiction, and a nation further divided. This event is co-sponsored by the David C. Hardesty Jr. Festival of Ideas and the WVU Reed College of Media. Sponsored in part by the Ogden Newspapers Seminar Series and WVU Libraries.

W/S Cyclists and cordon of police vans 13. M/S Police vans and left-wing activists with banner SCRIPT Activists gathered in Berlin Saturday to protest against celebrations held to mark the anniversary of Adolf Hitler's birthday. A number of right-wing radicals celebrate the Nazi leader's birthday each year on April 20. One group of activists gathered in Lichtenberg to protest against "Social Berlin," an organization they say is trying to spread right-wing ideas and extend their influence in the capital's suburbs. Also on Saturday, around 120 activists embarked on an "Anti-Fascist bicycle parade" that took them past several of Berlin's far-right sites. After setting off from Rudow underground station, the protesters - who were heavily supervised by the police - cycled to Bruckenstrasse, Schoneweide. According to activists, the area is home to a number of right-wing radicals. Local businesses include Hexogen, a store which sells White Power-affiliated records and merchandise, and "Zum Henker" (To the Executioner), a pub thought to be frequented by right-wingers. After chanting "alerta alerta antifascista" outside the establishments, the cyclists finished their tour at the headquarters of the National Democratic Party, a far-right German nationalist party. The building was heavily guarded by the police. The Verfassungsschutz, the Federal German intelligence unit, estimates that there were 31,000 potentially right-wing extremists in Germany in 2011. Despite this, there were no provocations on the streets of Berlin, with no reported confrontations between polarised political factions.

President Trump does not trust the CIA because he, & most Americans, believe George HW Bush & the CIA killed President Kennedy. They are correct. Read: "Coup de tat In America" by Michael Canfield. Right now there is a Deep State plot by the NYT, Big Pharma & the CIA to assassinate President Trump, because he and Robert F. Kennedy, jr., & millions of parents of vaccine damaged kids, are demanding a Comparison study be done, comparing Unvaccinated kids with vaccinated kids. Trump is opposed to mercury & aluminum in vaccines. You can buy it on Amazon for $9, or so. When will the NYT ever print the truth about why the CIA killed JFK? President Trump has his own security. He does not need the Secret Service to protect him. Public meetings of vaccine injured parents are the most powerful movement in the US today. I am so excited by the great work the "Vaxxed" crew & bus are doing. Why do Black boy babies get autism 4X as often as all other babies? Do Black lives matter? Robert F. Kennedy, jr. is doing great work demanding safe vaccines. President Trump is doing great work fighting Big Pharma & speaking out against the toxic aluminum in vaccines. He demands we have a Comparison study of Unvaccinated kids with vaccinated. To do that we must stop Mandatory vaccines & stop vaccinating half the boys in America. This next election, 2018 is a one issue election. We must demand every candidate state their position in writing. If they favor vaccines, we must expose them and campaign against them. We must run candidates who oppose Mandatory vaccines. We must not be afraid to openly praise President Trump for being opposed to vaccines. That is one issue he is right on. The 2020 election is a one issue election. Millions of boys, 80% of the boys in the US, will be autistic by 2032 if we do not stop Mandatory vaccines. We must vote for Trump al long as any state has Mandatory vaccines in 2020. We must vote as a bloc to oppose Mandatory vaccines. We can defeat all the money Big Pharma is using to attack our children. The majority of People in the US oppose Mandatory vaccines. Show our power in 2020 by voting for President Trump. Do it for all our boys, and those yet unborn. Best way to shut down all gas is to build 50 panel solar carports. Like Germany + Japan are doing. Stop talking. Start building. Sen. Prescott Bush + GM hired Hitler to attack Russia = WWII. Best way to shut down all gas is to build 50 panel solar carports. Like Germany + Japan are doing. Stop talking. Start building. Sen. The First Amendment guarantees freedoms concerning religion, speech, assembly and the press. The panelists will discuss possible issues, conflicts and challenges that may be raised in the context of diversity and inclusion, and how to navigate these challenges, at a public university like Penn State. Over the past year, the fight over free speech and expression has taken center stage on campuses across the U.S. Protests of controversial speakers, bans on offensive books and dedicated zones for student activism have become common occurrences. Hosted by Penn State President Eric J. Barron and Vice Provost for Educational Equity Marcus Whitehurst, the panel discussion is part of “All In at Penn State: A Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion,” an ongoing, University-wide initiative that brings students, faculty and staff together to show their commitment to cultivating a diverse and inclusive environment.
