This video used to be unlisted but many people have privately asked me to make it public so here it is :) I hope that's ok. It's been shot with just my camera mic and in my kitchen so you might hear my fridge humming. I know I haven't posted in a while, there have been some complications that limited me in producing the videos, I hope you guys understand. :) I am working on the video for my handsome stallions again, as promised, so I hope you will enjoy it as it arrives. Hands up who's Bored - Skype Lesson Plan
As part of the Hands up who's Bored O2 Think Big project, I held an international Skype lesson between Little Ilford School in East London and Eleanor Roosevelt High School in New York, USA. I wanted to show that you don't have to learn about other cultures and countries from the inside of a text book. These days, the technology exits where two groups of students can have a conversation discussing issues 3,000 miles apart and with great success! You might think that this lesson cost a lot to run but that's where you're wrong! In fact, it only cost the £10 rental charge we paid for the microphone! Students from around the world engaging on global issues for literally no money! This surely should encourage the Department of Education to discuss how best they could move Citizenship Education into the 21st Century! BIG Takeaway From Synergy Global Forum in NYC - Student-Tutor Vlog Week 18
This is part 2 of the 2 video series of Synergy Global Forum in New York City! I had the chance to learn from some of the most influential minds on earth like Sir Richard Branson, Jack Welch, Steve Forbes, Malcom Gladewell, Robin Wright, Gary V, Simon Sinek, Jordan Belfot, Naveen Jain, and more! In this video, I give a recap on bestselling author Malcolm Gladwell who explained: we are a “strong link” society, centered on helping the wealthy get wealthier, with the idea that the “stronger” they are, the better off everyone will be. He argued that this was somewhat legitimate pre-internet, but now, especially due to globalization and the rise in technology, we need to think in terms of a “weak link” society. This means that we focus on helping the “weaker,” or less fortunate, become “stronger.” To see the full article where I recap this event on The Huffington Post please check it out here: https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/the-future-of-humanity-is-bright-synergy-global_us_59fc974ee4b01ec0dede4199 ---- Who am I? What am I doing with my life? My name is Todd VanDuzer, and I am the CEO & Co-founder of Student-Tutor. Student loan debt is up $20,000 from 10 years ago, 51% of students are graduating and not using their degrees, and research shows that we are moving toward a freelance economy yet students are not gaining the necessary to thrive in this era. I have decided to take a stand and fix this problem that is holding back the leaders of tomorrow from achieving greater success by traveling across America on a little apartment on wheels to: 1.Interview different successful professionals to learn and then share what they believe students should be learning in school to thrive in the digital age. 2. Spread the knowledge of the educational programs we have developed that are transforming student's lives from across the world. ***Join the movement so together we can Spark Bright Futures for the leaders of tomorrow!*** Facebook Group Community: https://www.facebook.com/groups/557417807801488/ Podcast: http://student-tutor.com/podcast/ Blog: http://student-tutor.com/blog/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/van_duzer/ Company Website: https://www.student-tutor.com Student-Tutor Mastermind Program: http://student-tutor.com/digital-age-skills/

Watch Hunting In NYC - Rolex "Paul Newman" Daytona, Rare Patek Calatrava, JLC Reverso Duo & More!
With spring in the air, it's finally time to get out of the studio and hit the big city. In the first of hopefully a new series of videos, today I attend a very exciting auction preview with my dear friend Giancarlo Roselli, who is an Urban Gentry team member, administrator and the founder of Gentilogio. In this very special episode we are invited by Leslie Hindman Auctioneers and given special access to a whole plethora of amazing horological icons. The star of the show is undoubtedly a beautiful example of the legendary Rolex Daytona Cosmograph (Ref. 6239/6262), made iconic by the one and only Paul Newman of course. Not only do we look at one of the most sought after chronographs but also a pre-moon 1963 Omega Speedmaster (Ref. S105.012-63) accompanied by an after moon 1971 Speedy to boot! (Ref. 145.022) But the awesomeness does not stop there. We then take a look at a very rare Patek Calatrava (Ref. 5090J) made exclusively for the Russian market, a stunning "Officers watch" Calatrava (Ref.5022R), an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak (Ref. 25860ST), and finally (my personal favourite) a Jaeger LeCoutre Reverso Duo. With a line up like that, it's no wonder I almost forgot about the Panerai and the Rolex Submariner (Ref.16610) in there too! A big thank you to James for being an excellent host and the wonderful team at Leslie Hindman. Why you should make useless things | Simone Giertz
In this joyful, heartfelt talk featuring demos of her wonderfully wacky creations, Simone Giertz shares her craft: making useless robots. Her inventions -- designed to chop vegetables, cut hair, apply lipstick and more -- rarely (if ever) succeed, and that's the point. "The true beauty of making useless things [is] this acknowledgment that you don't always know what the best answer is," Giertz says. "It turns off that voice in your head that tells you that you know exactly how the world works. Maybe a toothbrush helmet isn't the answer, but at least you're asking the question." A New York Perspective on Resilience
Alexandros E. Washburn is the founding director of the Center for Coastal Resilience and Urban Xcellence (CRUX) at Stevens Institute of Technology. Until 2014, he was the Chief Urban Designer of the New York City at the Department of City Planning. He also published a book "The Nature of Urban Design: A New York Perspective on Resilience" in 2013. At reSITE 2013: Livable and Competitive Cities conference, he gave us a lecture explaining how New York City gets things done in terms of urban planning and city governance, more specifically: how New York city has been growing and becoming "more like itself" throughout the history. He underlines that urban design works at the intersection of politics, finance and design. And, this is evidently the main ambition behind the plans for the growth of New York City that is expected to reach up around 9.2 million inhabitants, to reduce its carbon footprints by 30% and to become more adaptable as well as resilient to global changes by 2030. Listen to his lecture that maps the three urban protagonists of New York: Frederick Law Olmsted, Robert Moses and Jane Jacobs. Washburn considers them as the three great urban designers who inarguably shaped the urban history of New York City. Furthermore, discover many other recent projects, i.e. the former mayor Michael Bloomberg's planNYC and the High Line Project, that have incrementally transformed the city. ---- reSITE is an international nonprofit platform based in Prague. We work at the intersection of architecture, urbanism, politics, culture, and economics. We act as a catalyst for social action and innovative leadership. We encourage an exchange of ideas about making cities more livable, competitive and resilient. We protect and promote public space, architecture, and sustainable development in cities. Why? To stimulate action for sustainable urban design and therefore better cities. We stand for public space. www.reSITE.org

How to Drive on the Highway | Driving Lessons
Watch more How to Drive videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/500646-How-to-Drive-on-the-Highway-Driving-Lessons So, today we're going to talk about highway driving and try to give you some highway driving tips. We'll start with what is usually the most difficult part for a beginner, and that would be actually getting on the highway. The reason that's more difficult is because the cars that are already on the highway are going at a greater speed than you are merging in. This is where the use of the lane to merge becomes most important. You have to use that lane to build up your speed and try to get your speed up so that then it would be easier to blend in with the cars that are already on the highway. So, you don't want to come to the end of that merge lane and then stop. At that point it will be very difficult to get on. You have to use the merging lane to accelerate, build up your speed, and keep checking your mirror on the left and turning your head to make sure you've got a good safe distance to merge onto. Then, when that occurs you move onto the highway. Once you get on the highway my recommendation is that the best lane to usually drive in would be the middle lane. The left lane is generally used for passing. The problem with staying in the right lane is that you've got to deal with those cars getting on the highway at every single exit. So, my recommendation is stay in the middle lane. The speed is greater on the highway which means that things can happen much more quickly, so that space is so important in highway driving. You need to have space in front of the car and behind the car, to the left and right at all times. If you're going to make a lane change you're going to do so by putting your signal on and indicating the way you want to make that pass whether it be to the right or to the left. Then you're going to look and make sure it's real safe to do so. Then move your car from one lane to the other. When is a good time to get back into the lane that we came from? The answer to that is that we need to see the vehicle that we passed in our rear view mirror. When you can see that entire vehicle in the rear view mirror it is then okay to move back to that right lane. So, those are some tips that you can use if you want to have some safe, comfortable highway driving.

Immigration Through Ellis Island - Award Winning Documentary Video Film
Island of Hope - Island of Tears; Charles Guggenheim; National Park Service; AVA15996VNB1 1992 (1989); From 1892-1954, Ellis Island was the port of entry for millions of European immigrants. Fascinating archival footage tells the moving story of families with dreams of opportunity, leaving their homes with what they could carry. CINE - Golden Eagle Award 1990; Columbus International Film and Video Festival - Chris Award 1990; Earthwatch; Institute Film Award - 1991; National; Educational Film & Video Festival - Bronze Apple 1991. Director: Charles Guggenheim; Producer: National Park Service; Creative Commons license: Public Domain; Credits; Uploaded by Public.Resource.Org under a joint venture with NTIS. Rebroadcast of "Island of Hope - Island of Tears" is made possible on the Internet by a grant from Joseph McFadden of Philadelphia. Between 1892 and the early 1950s, nearly 15 million people streamed through Ellis Island in search of a new life. Here are the stories of those extraordinary immigrants, largely in their own poignant words. Coming primarily from Southern and Eastern Europe, and from widely diverse backgrounds, the émigrés represented in this remarkable volume recount their adventures with dignity, wit, and unflagging honesty. From 1892 to 1954, over twelve million immigrants entered the United States through the portal of Ellis Island, a small island in New York Harbor. Ellis Island is located in the upper bay just off the New Jersey coast, within the shadow of the Statue of Liberty. Through the years, this gateway to the new world was enlarged from its original 3.3 acres to 27.5 acres by landfill supposedly obtained from the ballast of ships, excess earth from the construction of the New York City subway system and elsewhere. Before being designated as the site of one of the first Federal immigration station by President Benjamin Harrison in 1890, Ellis Island had a varied history. The local Indian tribes had called it "Kioshk" or Gull Island. Due to its rich and abundant oyster beds and plentiful and profitable shad runs, it was known as Oyster Island for many generations during the Dutch and English colonial periods. By the time Samuel Ellis became the island's private owner in the 1770's, the island had been called Kioshk, Oyster, Dyre, Bucking and Anderson's Island. In this way, Ellis Island developed from a sandy island that barely rose above the high tide mark, into a hanging site for pirates, a harbor fort, ammunition and ordinance depot named Fort Gibson, and finally into an immigration station. Despite the island's reputation as an "Island of Tears", the vast majority of immigrants were treated courteously and respectfully, and were free to begin their new lives in America after only a few short hours on Ellis Island. Only two percent of the arriving immigrants were excluded from entry. The two main reasons why an immigrant would be excluded were if a doctor diagnosed that the immigrant had a contagious disease that would endanger the public health or if a legal inspector thought the immigrant was likely to become a public charge or an illegal contract laborer. In 1965, President Lyndon Johnson declared Ellis Island part of the Statue of Liberty National Monument. Ellis Island was opened to the public on a limited basis between 1976 and 1984. Starting in 1984, Ellis Island underwent a major restoration, the largest historic restoration in U.S. history. The $160 million dollar project was funded by donations made to the Statue of Liberty - Ellis Island Foundation, Inc. in partnership with the National Park Service. The Main Building was reopened to the public on September 10, 1990 as the Ellis Island Immigration Museum. Today, the museum receives almost 2 million visitors annually. The Greatest Trade Entry Signal Ever. RamBot is live at DayTradingRadio.com
The video is something I almost didn't make because we are seeing such great results from the RamBot and I am always worried out if I found something special and I shared it would the signal still give such great results? The truth is the RamBot is just one great piece of a puzzle and the other pieces are learned over time or after you to your own quest for perfection in the markets. You will come back , The method here a mathematical in structure and unequaled in my opinion. The failure comes with the lack of discipline on taking only the confirmed signal using the secondary signals to pinpoint your entry and your stop. Failure will come with the greed on keeping your trade on longer then our generated exit signal. So I think the results will inspire some beginners but there is a lot of other pieces to apply to succeed in this endeavor. But the RamBot give you a huge edge and like i said earlier..You won't find a better Trade Entry Signal

Trump's Refugee Ban Sparks Protests in New York City
Thousands of protesters rallied for the second consecutive day on Sunday in New York City after U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order Friday temporarily barring all refugees and seven Middle Eastern and North African countries' citizens from entry into the US. Countries included in the ban are Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen, the so-called "countries with terrorism concerns" by Trump. The protesters chanted slogans and hoisted signs like "No hate, no fear", "New York is welcoming immigrants", "Bridges, not wall" near Battery Park. Some said that Trump's refugee ban is anti-American and unconstitutional, a dangerous move that may rip the U.S. society apart. "We protest the proposed ban on immigration and refugees from Muslim countries, because it's anti-American and unconstitutional to discriminate against people who have a certain religion," said one woman. "We want to reach people to tell them that this is the American way that we are an inclusive society created by immigrants and that what Trump is doing is un-American," said a man wearing a mask that resembled a cartoon-like President Trump. Protesters were not only against Trump's views on immigrants, but also against his views on women as well as other issues, saying that they stand for a united people, instead of a divided people. One day earlier, protesters gathered at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York to demonstrate against the ban. A federal judge in New York on Saturday night granted an emergency stay temporarily halting the removal of people who, though with previously approved refugee applications or with valid visas, had been detained following Trump's refugee and immigration order. Beyond Salsa Bass (Vol.6) - Alain Pérez - Timba Bass Method - Bajo Cubano
http://latinpulsemusic.com/albums/show/421 - Beyond Salsa Bass follows the same game plan as Beyond Salsa Piano: five volumes covering the history of Cuban bass playing - from changüí and son to songo and timba - followed by a series of books on individual star bass players. The first volume of Beyond Salsa Bass to be released is Volume 6, the first on Alain Pérez. It corresponds exactly to Beyond Salsa Piano, Vol. 6 on Melón Lewis. Melón and Alain played together in the historic Issac Delgado group of the late 1990s, creating arguably the most sophisticated and ultra-creative piano-bass tandem in the history of Cuban popular music. Volume 6 covers two of Delgado's greatest live timba arrangements: No me mires a los ojos and La vida sin esperanza. The piano and bass parts are drawn from extended live performances at the legendary Palacio de la Salsa nightclub in the Hotel Riviera on the Malecón. The bass volume transcribes not only the notes but the many percussive sounds that Alain uses to create his powerful groove. He performed each song in slow motion and in various takes at full speed, making full use of the "controlled improvisation" technique that's so central to both his and Melón's styles. Everything he plays is transcribed in 16th notes, 8th notes, and bass tablature. Volume 6 also contains the first part of Alain's biography, covering his early child prodigy years, his "discovery" by Chucho Valdés, and his initial entry into the Issac Delgado group. Audio Product: The audio product has the piano alone in the left channel and the bass alone in the right. It includes Alain's slow and fast performances, and the fast performance is also provided in a digitally slowed version. Additionally there are MIDI tracks to accompany the analysis of Alain's style and to cover several auxiliary tumbaos not included in the videos. Video Product: Alain was filmed with two cameras, one looking directly at him and the other a closeup on his right hand. For every tumbao, we provide three separate videos: a widescreen version of each camera angle and a split screen version combining the two. **Special thanks to Vasik Greif, Michael Cába and Dayán Abad for making everything happen in Madrid.
