"As marijuana becomes more accepted -- and in some places, legal -- a UCLA researcher has reexamined the question: does smoking marijuana cause lung cancer? In the June edition of Annals of the American Thoracic Society, Donald P. Tashkin, MD, emeritus professor of medicine at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine, says that light to moderate marijuana use does not cause increased lung cancer risk and that the verdict is not out on heavy use."* The question of whether smoking marijuana can cause cancer in smokers in much the same way tobacco does has been under debate for a while. A UCLA professor has reached a conclusion at least about light-moderate marijuana smoking. Ana Kasparian and Ben Mankiewicz discuss. *Read more from Huffington Post: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/06/20/marijuana-lung-cancer_n_3474960.html Support The Young Turks by Subscribing http://www.youtube.com/user/theyoungturks Like Us on Facebook: Follow Us on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/theyoungturks Support TYT for FREE by doing your Amazon shopping through this link (bookmark it!) http://www.amazon.com/?tag=theyoungturks-20 Buy TYT Merch: http://theyoungturks.spreadshirt.com/ Support The Young Turks by becoming a member of TYT Nation at http://www.tytnetwork.com/member-options/. This thought originated from an exploration paper which took a gander at information from a longitudinal study done on 1000 individuals from Dunedin, New Zealand. The study took after subjects from age 13 to 38 and directed IQ tests a both these ages. The discoveries uncovered that individuals who were ceaseless clients of maryjane, which are those that had a physical reliance to the medication, before the age of 18 had a drop in IQ of 8 focuses by the age of 38. There are three imperative things to note about this study. To begin with, the general population who were appeared to have a decrease in IQ are fundamentally little – 38 out of 1000, or 3.8 percent. Second, these people were utilizing fundamentally more pot (four days for every week) than the normal maryjane client. At last, they were utilizing more weed reliably for any longer (20 years) than the normal pot client. Additionally, catch up investigations of this information have demonstrated that distinctions in financial status may represent the distinctions in IQ found in the study, also the talk encompassing IQ as a substantial estimation of cerebrum capacity and insight which are past the extent of this reaction. As far as weed and its consequences for cerebrum cells, or neurons, there is little proof to recommend that any of the dynamic fixings in the cannabis plant regulated at dosages fitting for human utilization have neurotoxic impacts. This is in direct differentiation to liquor, where the body's digestive procedure makes metabolites, for example, acetaldehyde and other "receptive oxygen species" which are harmful to the cerebrum and different cells in the body. This is the reason you have an aftereffect, subsequent to drinking substantial amounts of liquor. The dynamic fixings in the cannabis plant, called phytocannabinoids, influence particular receptors inside the body. Truth be told, the body creates its own arrangement of cannabinoids called endocannabinoids and has an endocannabinoid framework which directs the movement of all cannabinoids in the body. There are two sorts of receptors inside the endocannabinoid framework CB1 receptors and CB2 receptors. CB1 receptors are found basically in the cerebrum and sensory system, while CB2 receptors are found principally in the invulnerable framework. The way that these receptors are found everywhere throughout the body is a piece of the motivation behind why cannabis has been observed to be valuable for such a large number of various therapeutic conditions. Particularly on account of seizures, there is preparatory exploration which demonstrates that the cannabinoid, cannabidiol or CBD, raises the edge for seizure movement inside the cerebrum making it general more hard to have seizures, and in this manner giving would like to numerous guardians of kids with immovable seizure issue. There is likewise some preparatory exploration which demonstrate that different cannabinoids inside the plant really shield cerebrum cells from harm connected with Alzheimer's malady. Notwithstanding, substantially more research should be done with a specific end goal to make authoritative cases on the health advantages. The confirmation now shows that maryjane benefits more than damage with regards to its impacts on the grown-up cerebrum. Watch more Marijuana Facts & Medical Marijuana videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/506373-Can-Marijuana-Usage-Cause-Cancer-Marijuana The epidemiological studies have not been able to show a conclusive link between the use of marijuana, even heavy, long-term use and the development of cancers of the lung, the aerodigestive system, the head and neck, and numerous other cancer tissues that have been searched for. But predominately those areas, head and neck and lung, are what we have the most data on. Very large studies have been conducted. Thousands of patients, numerous multiple sites, over several years, in some cases over several decades. Once a study was recently published in the Journal of American Medical Association. Studies out of UCLA, with Dr. Donald Tashkin who's a pulmonologist, a lung doctor, and studies out of Brown University, all of these have really tried to find a link between the use, people who use marijuana and people who aren't using marijuana, and tried to study them over a long time and see if there's an increased rate of cancer in the groups that have used marijuana when you control for all the other variables, and you just can't find it. And what's really exciting and interesting, is in some cases, Dr. Tashkin's studies published, reported that in some cases it's a protective effect. That is, people using marijuana had lower rates of certain aerodigestive cancers. That's very interesting. And that tells us that there may be some effect of marijuana against cancer or to help your body fight off cancer. Now, that doesn't mean to say that the smoke of marijuana is harmless. There is soot and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, which are these pre, what are called procarcinogens. But it turns out the effects of those compounds on your system may be neutralized by some of the actual compounds in marijuana itself that may help to reduce the effects, the negative effects of those compounds. So it kind of has a built in safety system against developing those forms of cancer. There's been some studies on association with testicular cancer but those aren't very large studies. And usually, it's very hard to find strong data. You have to collect large samples over a long period of time and the lion's share of that evidence is showing us that there's no link to cancers. And interestingly, in the same studies, if you look at tobacco users, sometimes they'll compare them with tobacco, you get the increased risk of cancer in a dose-dependent fashion. The more you use, the higher rates of cancer. And those were in the same studies that looked at marijuana. So you can prove smoking and cancer linked with tobacco smoking. You can't prove it with marijuana.

A US government-funded study has found smoking marijuana regularly for up to seven years does not impair lung function. Researchers at the University of Alabama at Birmingham's School of Medicine monitored the lung function of over 5,000 young men and women over 20 years between 1985 and 2006, and found that smoking pot for seven 'joint years' - which means 365 joints a year - does not alter lung function. However, experts say this will probably not push forward the legalization of medical marijuana, as the drug poses other health risks. Pulmonary specialist and Federal Government researcher from UCLA Geffen School of Medicine finds that marijuana does not cause lung cancer in his study on the effects of cannabis and the lungs. Results of this study are discussed for the first time. If you agree that cannabis should be legal, write a letter to your congressperson and tell them to legalize it! Cannabis was made illegal because the paper industry was split between the hemp and the wood pulp factions. The wood pulp people had more money and won, which caused a negative ripple effect in our society such as the loss of a valuable medicine. Since the prohibition of cannabis began the cancer rates have grown at an alarming rate. Cannabis is used for thousands of purposes and it's loss of use has caused great hardship to everyone. It is time for truth to prevail and prohibition to stop. Please watch and share part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6pBw0bgmgA&list=PLF6F889DA1CF6345A&index=2&feature=plpp_video Thanks

Hi Everyone, This is my first time making a YouTube, I got a bit nervous & emotional but my intent is to give others HOPE, so please overlook my mistakes & delivery. My Story in brief: (Book to follow) Monday 16th December 2013 I had been complaining of a small niggling pain on my left side around my ribs for a few days but nothing too bad. I’d had an hour massage on the previous Friday so I thought that I was just feeling the after effects of that. As the days went on when I took a big deep breath I did have slight pain on my left side. So I got it checked out. On Thursday 19th December 2013 an ED Doctor found a mass on my left lung after a chest X-Ray this was quickly followed by CT with contrast. The ED Doctor came out & motioned for us to come into her office & sit down not saying a word. She opened the conversation with I’m so very sorry…..what?? I’m so very sorry. There appears to be a sizable mass in your left lung – what? What is it? Have you ever smoked? What? No? Never! The look on the Doctors face said it all. There seemed to be silence, just her looking at me & time seemed to be slowed down somehow. She kept saying sorry, sorry to give you this news so close to Christmas. What? She said she has contacted a Respiratory Registrar to come down to see me to book in for a biopsy of the mass. My head was spinning! I recall saying a number of times, what? No? What? I don’t smoke, I never have, what? Well we can remove it right? What? It’s like I could hear myself saying the same thing over & over but I couldn’t stop. But I’m so healthy. What? No? It really did feel like she was talking about someone else. It didn’t feel real. I was thinking to myself, it will be fine, Doctors will operate & take it out somehow, and it will be fine. But it wasn’t fine. After several attempts to biopsy the tumour, finally on Monday 13th January 2014 the Doctors were able to get a sample via a CT guided chest/lung biopsy through my back. The X-Ray taken 4 hours after to check the lung, showed a minor haemorrhage around the left lung mass & as a bonus they managed to give me a pneumothorax (partially collapsed lung). Wednesday 15th January we got the results, Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (adenocarcinoma) & a PET SCAN was booked to see if it had spread. As I was a non-smoker the Doctors were convinced that the lung would not be my primary. Friday 17th January 2014 – PET SCAN. The lung was the primary, 5cm mass, 2 lymph nodes in the chest & one in the base of the neck, fluid around my heart, and cancer in the pleura or lining of the lung. The Doctors told me as it had spread to the lining of my lung & lymph nodes they classified me as stage IV Terminal Lung Cancer with a prognosis of 6-9mth to live. Thursday 30th January 2014 1st chemo (5hrs) Thursday 6th February 2014 2nd Chemo (1hour) Friday 14th February 2014 we found out that the biopsy taken was EGFR positive mutation, so no more chemo, yah! Thursday 20th February 2014 start TARCEVA 150mg tablets (Erlotinib) Tuesday 25th February 2014 start juicing heaps of fresh cannabis leaves Wednesday 26th February 2014 my Husband cooked 1st batch of cannabis oil Sunday 20th April 2014 my Husband cooked 2nd batch of cannabis oil Tuesday 22nd April 2014 we received cannabis oil from an experienced Medical Cannabis activist that was prepared to help Tuesday 20th May 2014 we started experimenting with suppositories & eventually by mixing .5ml of organic coconut oil with .5ml cannabis oil in a 1ml syringe just straight up & in we call it ‘the backdoor method’. I believe that this was our break through & also with this method I experienced no ‘high’ & was able to have the full 1ml of cannabis oil per day as what was recommended for an aggressive cancer. Wednesday 3rd September 2014 PET scan Conclusion: complete metabolic response. Residual non-FDG avid scar tissue in the left upper lobe corresponding to the site of the previously intense FDG avid primary malignancy. NO CANCER!!! Yes, there is a lot more detail that I could go into but this is just a quick look at my year so far. I hope it helps someone if so, please let me know. My Husband & I would like to thank all the amazing people from around the world that helped us on a Facebook Group Site called ‘Cannabis Oil Success Stories’. Daily News @ http://RevolutionNews.US ~ Researchers at Harvard tested the chemical THC in both lab and mouse studies. They say this is the first set of experiments to show that the compound, THC actually activates naturally produced receptors to fight off lung cancer. The researchers suggest that THC or other designer agents that activate these receptors might be used in a targeted fashion to treat lung cancer. Although a medical substitute of THC, known as Marinol, has been used as an appetite stimulant for cancer patients and other similar treatments, few studies have shown that THC might have anti-tumor activity. *HERE IS THE INTERESTING PART* The only clinical trial testing THC as a treatment against cancer growth was a recently completed British pilot study. For three weeks, researchers injected standard doses of THC into mice that had been implanted with human lung cancer cells, and found that tumors were reduced in size and weight by about 50 percent in treated animals compared to a control group. There was also about a 60 percent reduction in cancer lesions on the lungs in these mice as well as a significant reduction in protein markers associated with cancer progression. http://PhoenixTears.ca -- Cannabis stops cancer (Harvard) Cannabis stops breast cancer (UCSF) Cannabis grows brain cells in mice (Princeton) Cannabis is a cousin of the HEMP plant... The average smoker smokes a pack a day and this is what goes into your body after smoking for 30 days. I decided to do a simple test using cotton balls as lungs to determine what the effects of smoking a pack a day for 30 days, that's 600 cigarettes!! This is not a scientific test, it's an analogy of what could happen and what could accumulate and what it could do to your mouth, throat and lungs not to mention how it compromises every system in your body in order to try to tell you to stop smoking and stop slowly killing yourself. The average smoker smokes a pack a day or even worse some are chainsmokers that will chainsmokers from morning to night. The effects of smoking on your body is no secret and if you don't know by now, here is another reason why you need to quit smoking. It's never to late to quit and once you see what a pack a day for a month does to your lungs and body it will give you the fuel you need to fire up the will power and quit! Good luck on your journey to quit smoking. Remember, waiting another day could be one day too late. ● MY CANON CAMERA https://amzn.to/2K36NFB ● MY RODE MICROPHONE https://amzn.to/2HLWO6B ● MY GOPRO SESSION CAMERA https://amzn.to/2K3UnNq ● MY GOPRO CAMERA https://amzn.to/2K3UnNq ::::::::::::: ANSWERS to ALL YOUR CONCERNS about the test :::::::::::::::: *This is not a scientific test, but is an analogy, a correlation. It's for you to decide and understand how this could effect your body in the same way. *The exhale hose is clearly shown at the start. *if all the smoke had been blown back through the cotton, the results would have been twice as bad! *The smoke was drawn through and around the cotton, catching some, not all, of the chemicals and tar (evident by the accumulation in the hoses) *The average smoker smokes one pack a day. (Google) *The machine was set to smoke each cigarette at the same pace each time. * Every single cigarette was smoked. 30 packs, 20 per pack equals 600 cigarettes. . *Each cigarette was smoked 3/4 of the way to reflect real world smoking allowing a quarter of it to just burn away while talking or thinking. *It took a day to set up and another 3 days for the machine to smoke all of the cigarettes. *The results are real and actual from the cigarettes. Nothing was altered. *Between each cigarette that was smoked, the chamber was cleared of smoke. *The scenes were sped up or time lapsed to keep the video interesting and not too long. *Each cigarette that was smoked, the smoke was drawn through and past the cotton balls, through the connecting hoses, into the pump and exhausted into the air. *The smoke was not held in the glass chamber which many commenters have suggested. *The black tar goo accumulation in the hoses showed up after only 10 packs. Tar from the next 20 packs overflowed and got sucked into the pump. It eventually ruined the pump. *With actual smoking, you also blow the smoke out past all of the same organs twice which could actually be worse than this test. *Whether the machine smoked the cigarettes all at once, or bit by bit, it's the same amount of smoke, the results would be the same. *Your lungs aren't cotton balls and plastic tubes. At least with cotton balls and tubes you can swap them out. You can't buy new lungs. *Lungs do self clean. That self cleaning mechanism is supposed to take care of dust and debris from normal breathing in poor environments. They weren't meant to be overwhelmed on an hourly basis by smoke from a burning object. *The smell of the tar and cotton balls at the end was vile. I felt quite ill afterwards. Can't imagine how a smoker feels on a daily basis. *Not scientific but the analogy speak volumes. FANTASTIC MUSIC BY Joakim Karud, Luvly http://youtube.com/joakimkarud

Watch more Marijuana Facts & Medical Marijuana videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/506369-Physical-Effects-Marijuana Marijuana has several different effects on the body. If you're using it medically you should prepare yourself for some side effects. For some people these side effects are mild, but if you don't know that they're happening they can be a little frightening. Some of them are pretty basic and maybe ones that you've heard about through pop culture or subcultures that use cannabis. First is your eyes get red. The cannabis in your system actually is opening up capillaries, so it produces an effect of red eyes. This is something that's not permanent. It'll go away. Some Visine will clear it right up. It can be uncomfortable, so you may want to have Visine near your medicine when you take it. Another side effect is dry mouth which is also not permanent. You can just have water near you and it will clear up that side effect right away. Depending on the type of cannabis you are using, you may feel drowsy or tired. For some people this is the desired effect. For other people cannabis can kind of wake you up. It has a lot to do with the strain that you're taking. No one has ever overdosed on medical cannabis. In fact, scientists have tried to find out how much cannabis it would take to kill someone. And I know people want to volunteer for this study. In laboratories they have tried to give rats 40,000 times the dose that you would take. So, it would be you and your friends sitting around within an hour and smoking 40,000 joints. The rats did not die. In fact, they just slept for three days. Again, all medications have side effects that you should be worried about, but at least with this one you know you're not going to die. You should be careful about operating heavy machinery and driving. Use this like you would use any other controlled substance. Make sure that you are self monitoring and knowing you're using this medicine as safely as possible. As far as long term side effects it depends on which scientist you want to listen to. But one thing we know is that scientists say over and over that cannabis does not cause cancer. Again, every year there are new studies on aspirin. So, if you're looking at medical cannabis as a treatment one of the things you're going to have to do is stay up to date on the science as it comes out. But, as of right now there's more research showing that cannabis is a positive substance for controlling symptoms of various conditions and less information that it could harm you. There is a set of scientific data that is a little concerning to my organization as well as scientists and doctors who use medical cannabis in their practice. That is research around schizophrenia. However, there's no research that shows that people who weren't already predisposed to schizophrenia that cannabis will somehow cause that disorder in their mind. But for people who have schizophrenia or are likely to have schizopherenia cannabis has been known to set off psychotic episodes. So if you have schizophrenia or if it runs in your family you should really talk to your doctor about whether or not cannabis is the right choice for you in your treatment.

"So Snoop Dogg, as Snoop Lion, held a Reddit "Ask Me Anything" session Wednesday afternoon and in contrast to recent chats with Trent Reznor and Das Racist's Heems, the conversation didn't span the range of the artist's illustrious career, venture into broader social topics, or even stir up some controversy. Instead — and we admit our brazen foolishness in expecting anything else — the fan-run Q&A focused on one, ahem, heady subject to the exclusion of most others. You guessed it: weed. When the peanut gallery did stretch out into other territory, the queries were often still couched within a marijuana haze, and in the rare instances that they asked about the music, Snoop almost invariably directed them to the lyric video to his new Major Lazer-produced single, "Here Comes the King."* Snoop Dogg/ Snopp Lion took to Reddit to answer questions from his fans, including his thoughts on pot legalization and that he smokes 81 blunts a day. How is this possibly true, and if it is, is this a watermark on how safe marijuana is? Dr. Donald Tashkin UCLA Geffen School of Medicine Pt 2 of 2. Conclusion of 2 part interview with the famous research doctor from UCLA Geffen School of Medicine. Pulmonary research on use of marijuana and interaction with the lungs was funded by the Federal Government to prove that lung cancer is caused by smoking marijuana, however the results proved cannabis does not cause lung cancer.

Does Medical Marijuana Cause Weight Gain? I’m sure you’re familiar with marijuana causing snacking behavior. It’s more commonly known as getting the munchies. Based on what the research says and what I’ve seen clinically, certain types of marijuana without a doubt stimulate appetite. In other words, it makes you feel hungry. But does marijuana actually cause weight gain? First, I’m going to address specific patient populations where their medical condition impacts their weight. Let’s start with patients with HIV. In general, several studies showed that marijuana causes HIV patients to eat more and also gain weight. In Cancer patients, research done between 1975 and 1996 overall showed that marijuana is effective in stimulating appetite. Although, there’s nothing definitive showing that Cancer patients gain weight with marijuana use. Now, does marijuana cause weight gain in the general population? I think you’re in for a shocker. Check out the results of these 3 medical studies. STUDY #1: Marijuana use, diet, body mass index, and cardiovascular risk factors (from the CARDIA study). One study followed 3,617 participants ages 18 to 30 for 15 years. They compared the participants who had no history of marijuana use to those with a prior history of marijuana use. Specifically they used marijuana for more than 1800 days over the 15 year period. The study found that the marijuana users consumed about 600 more calories per day than the non-users. But, there was no increase in their Body Mass Index (BMI). STUDY #2: Obesity and cannabis use: results from 2 representative national surveys. Another study looked at the obesity rate among 50,736 marijuana users and non-users. A user was anyone who used marijuana at least 3 times per week over the previous 12 months. A non-user was anyone who reported no cannabis use in the previous 12 months. In one group, the obesity rate was 22.0% in the non-users and 14.3% in the users. In another group, the obesity rate was 25.3% in the non-users and but only 17.2% in the users. So, basically, the prevalence of obesity was lower in the marijuana users than the non-users. STUDY #3: Dietary intake and nutritional status of US adult marijuana users: results from the Third National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. And, finally, another study interviewed and examined 10,623 adults aged 20 to 59 marijuana users and non-users. Again, the results were similar to the previous 2 studies I just mentioned. The marijuana users had a greater caloric intake than the non-users. But, their Body Mass Index (BMI) was lower than the non-users. There’s a perception out there that marijuana causes weight gain. But the results of these studies certain challenge that notion. And, you’re probably wondering, why doesn’t marijuana cause a weight gain in the general population. It’s quite possible that marijuana plays a more a regulatory role. In other words, it increases weight in those that are of low-weight. But, not in those of normal weight or overweight. Watch more Marijuana Facts & Medical Marijuana videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/506368-Smoking-Marijuana-vs-Eating-Marijuana-Marijuana Depending on how you ingest cannabis, your body is going to feel different effects and for different periods of time. If you ingest cannabis by smoking or vaporizing you're actually going to feel the effects of cannabis right away, probably within anywhere between 30 to 90 seconds. Now, this can be good for people who need pain relief right away, but it's also a good way to see how much cannabis you want to consume. You can take a small inhalation and wait a few minutes and see what the effects are before you take more. Now for people who need longer lasting effect of cannabis, they find that eating it actually stays in their body longer, and they can feel those side effects of inflammation relief or pain relief. They're going to feel that longer. And so people either choose to either make butters or oils and put into their food. Now, with eating cannabis, it actually takes anywhere from, it could take like 45 minutes all the way up to an hour for you to feel the effects. And so people often eat too much cannabis and then they feel unwanted side effects. For some people they feel a raciness of the mind. They can even feel paranoid or frightened. And if you're using medical cannabis and this happens, it's a good thing to have someone near you or have someone you can call. And just know that it's going to go away. Know that the longest that you're going to be in that state is going to be a few hours. And so, you know, be careful about the amount you're going to take so you don't get to that state, but you should also feel comfortable in knowing that that's the worst that's going to happen. So it's my suggestion that if you're going to try to eat cannabis to really take some time during your week to figure out just how it's going to affect you. So knowing that it's going to take 45 minutes to even set-in, when you first eating cannabis, probably do it at dinner or after dinner and really give yourself some time to feel the effects and start getting an idea of what your dosage is. And again, if you are inhaling it you're going to feel it right away. If you're eating it it's going to take a while, but it's also going to last longer. Now, another form of ingestion are tinctures, which are a liquid form of cannabis where you use alcohol usually as a base or glycerin to pull the compounds out of the plant. And taking cannabis in this way you're going to feel the same side effects as eating cannabis and it's going to take almost as long to kick in.

Does smoking pot in moderation have any direct physical effects on the body's muscle building and fat burning processes? I'm not here to advocate that anyone smoke or not smoke pot, and my only goal here is to give the objective facts as I see them. Also keep in mind that we're specifically discussing bodybuilding and marjiuana here and nothing else. Whatever other health effects it may or may not have are beyond the scope of this post. The main areas of concern when it comes to weed and bodybuilding revolve around levels of important hormones such as testosterone, growth hormone and estrogen. However, the current research that is available (references below) simply does not show any significant, long-lasting effects as a result of marijuana consumption. Testosterone: All we see here are short term decreases that return to baseline fairly quickly, and even when test levels do drop, they still stay within the normal range. Heavy ongoing use may be a different issue, but moderate use should not be an issue in this area. Growth Hormone: Decreases only occur when very large doses of pure THC are given. One study actually showed an increase in growth hormone levels as a result of smoking two joints. Estrogen: The results here are mixed, with some studies showing negative effects and others showing no effect. However, very large doses were used in the studies indicating that only heavy, frequent use would likely be a problem if at all. From a direct physical standpoint, I currently don't see any evidence to indicate that moderate marjiuana consumption would have any direct negative effect on your ability to build muscle or lose fat. Heavy frequent use may be another issue, but even then the research is inconclusive. The only situation where marijuana and bodybuilding would overlap is if it causes behavioural changes in you that then carry over to your fitness goals, such as over-eating or skipping workouts. In that case, obviously there would be consequences. However, if all else remains equal (training, nutrition, supplementation etc.), weed and bodybuilding don't seem to be connected in any measurable way from a pure physical standpoint. The average smoker smokes a pack a day and this is what goes into your body after smoking just one pack ! I decided to do a simple test using cotton balls as lungs to determine what the effects of smoking a pack would do, that's 20 cigarettes!! This is not a scientific test, it's an analogy of what could happen and what could accumulate and what it could do to your mouth, throat and lungs not to mention how it compromises every system in your body in order to try to tell you to stop smoking and stop slowly killing yourself. The average smokers smokes a pack a day or even worse some are chainsmokers that will chainsmokers from morning to night. ● MY CANON CAMERA https://amzn.to/2K36NFB ● MY RODE MICROPHONE https://amzn.to/2HLWO6B ● MY GOPRO CAMERA https://amzn.to/2K3UnNq =============HOW THE TEST WAS DONE=================== *The machine was set to smoke each cigarette at the same pace each time. *Each cigarette that was smoked, was drawn through and past the cotton balls into the pump and exhausted into the air. *The smoke was not held or blown back through. The results would have been worse if I had. *None of the cigarettes were smoked into the cigarette filter. *The filters on Du Maurier cigarettes are hollowed out and come like that. *The smoke was filtered through the cotton, catching some, not all, of the junk. (evident by the accumulation in the hoses) *Whether the machine smoked the cigarettes all at once, or over a day, it's the same amount of smoke either way. Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment Prop 65 Implementation PO Box 4010 1001 I St., 19th Floor Sacramento CA 95812-4010 We are responding to OEHHA's request for scientific information regarding the carcinogenicity of marijuana smoke for hearings by the Carcinogen Identification Committee on November 19, 2007. The best current evidence is that marijuana smoke does not cause cancer. Even though it can contain various carcinogenic pyrolytic compounds similar to those found in tobacco smoke, the best epidemiological studies have failed to detect elevated cancer rates in marijuana smokers. One possible explanation is that the major psychoactive ingredient of marijuana, delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) has anti-carcinogenic properties, whereas the major ingredient of tobacco, nicotine, is cancer promoting [Melamede]. http://www.canorml.org/healthfacts/OEHHA_Prop_65_MJ_Canc.htm

The endocannabinoid system in our bodies regulate our cancer defense -- so it makes sense that cannabis works effectively in this area, and the science backs that up. For those who dispute the fact that cannabis can cure cancer, I would like to refer you to numerous studies (since 1974!) that show that cannabinoids kills cancer cells, shrink tumors, halts the spread of invasive carcinomas, and prevents occurrence. I don't know if you have the energy or the interest to follow up these links, but if you do value truth over hearsay and propaganda, then I would suggest you look at them.
