Check out our new website http://www.rehealthify.com/ Rehealthify offers reliable, up-to-date health information, anytime, anywhere, for free. Allergy (also called: Hypertension) -- video script below -- Blood pressure is the force of your blood pushing against the walls of your arteries. Each time your heart beats, it pumps blood into the arteries. Your blood pressure is highest when your heart beats, pumping the blood. This is called systolic pressure. When your heart is at rest, between beats, your blood pressure falls. This is called diastolic pressure. Your blood pressure reading uses these two numbers. Usually the systolic number comes before or above the diastolic number. A reading of 119/79 or lower is normal blood pressure 140/90 or higher is high blood pressure Between 120 and 139 for the top number, or between 80 and 89 for the bottom number is called prehypertension. Prehypertension means you may end up with high blood pressure, unless you take steps to prevent it. High blood pressure usually has no symptoms, but it can cause serious problems such as stroke, heart failure, heart attack and kidney failure. You can control high blood pressure through healthy lifestyle habits and taking medicines, if needed. NIH: National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute

► TOP 10 Causes Of High Blood Pressure

07:22
How I lowered my dad's blood pressure, without drugs or diets ►►http://drsam.co/yt/SeeItYourself ======================================= Top 10 Causes Of High Blood Pressure ======================================= 1. AGE Most people don’t realize that AGE is one of the BIGGEST factors for high blood pressure. I discuss this in my very important article, but what’s important to note is that after the age of 40, 33% of the population has high blood pressure and after the age of 60, over 71% of the population has hypertension! So, if you’re over the age of 40 and have high blood pressure, it may not be your fault. But it IS your responsibility to fix it right away and here is how I lowered my dad’s blood pressure naturally, in just 30 days. 2. GENETICS & FAMILY HISTORY Well, not much can be done here. This is in fact my own problem because I have a family history (on my dad’s side) of hypertension, heart attacks and especially strokes. You can read more about it, include my personal favorite solution that my dad, my family and I use to promote healthy blood pressure levels, naturally! 3. SMOKING Come on people, smoking has NO health benefits. STOP smoking! 4. ALCOHOL A little bit of alcohol is okay, especially if it’s organic red wine. But drinking every night will cause damage to your heart, arteries and liver. Alcohol is a toxic and it’s acidic, both being bad for your body. 5. BEING OVERWEIGHT Similar to smoking, being overweight has no health benefits. And the older you get, the harder it is to lose that unwanted fat. 6. SODIUM Salt has its benefits actually. Regular table salt or salt found in processed foods and packages is BAD for you. However, “natural” salts such as Himalayan rock or Celtic sea salt is GOOD for you and can actually help LOWER blood pressure. I’ll discuss this in a future article. 7. STRESS Well know stress is bad. However, you can’t get rid of it. What’s important is the MEANING you give to stressful situations. If you freak out, get negative and focus on the problem the entire time … you put your body under extra stress. The secret is to focus on the SOLUTION and to know that “this too shall pass” and worrying about the problem isn’t going to help anything… Especially our blood pressure or heart. 8. LACK OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY We sit too much these days. Just get outside and walk daily, even if it’s just for 15-20 minutes. It’ll do wonders for your physical AND mental health! 9. MEDICAL CONDITIONS This goes back to “genetics”. And if you know you have a genetic “problem”, which is making things worse, then you MUST make changes to your life-style because your body is more sensitive than the average person. This is a similar problem with my dad and why he had a stroke. 10. MEDICATION Ironically, many “heart” medications actually cause more heart PROBLEMS in the long run. They can increase your cholesterol, blood sugar or blood pressure levels. They can decrease blood flow and circulation. And they all cause extra stress on your liver and kidneys, which then cause more problems for your heart. ♥ The Scary Truth About High Blood Pressure Symptoms

Discover the REAL CAUSE of High Blood Pressure & 5 Best Foods for Lowering It Naturally: ►►http://drsam.co/yt/LowerHBPToday ======================================= The Scary Truth About High Blood Pressure Symptoms ======================================= (1) http://www.webmd.com/news/20110420/the-10-most-prescribed-drugs (2) http://www.heart.org/HEARTORG/Conditions/HighBloodPressure/PreventionTreatmentofHighBloodPressure/Types-of-Blood-Pressure-Medications_UCM_303247_Article.jsp Today’s question is from Rose and she asks: “How do you I know if I have high blood pressure?... I think lately I’ve had it because I’ve been having headaches. How can I lower my BP naturally?” So here’s the truth -- unless you take your blood pressure readings multiple times a day for a few days in a row, it’s almost IMPOSSIBLE to know if you have chronic high blood pressure. This is because there is NO list of symptoms or “signs” of high blood pressure (HBP or Hypertension).... And THIS is the scary part. It’s a MYTH that people with high blood pressure will experience symptoms, like nervousness, sweating, headaches, nosebleeds or facial flushing. The scary fact is that high blood pressure is a symptomless “silent killer.” If you ignore your blood pressure because you think a certain symptom or sign will alert you to the problem, you are taking a dangerous chance with your life. This is a VERY important topic for me because I have a family history of high blood pressure. What’s really scared me personally at an early age is that my grandfather died immediately with his FIRST and ONLY stroke. My uncle was handicapped and paralyzed for the rest of his life, with his FIRST and ONLY stroke. Thus – NO warnings. NO second chances. NO opportunity to make changes or improvements. And this is why high blood pressure is known as the “silent killer”. Unfortunately, having “high blood pressure” has become a “silent” epidemic. Did you know that: 1/3 (35%) of adults over the age of 20, has high blood pressure?... Yet, 72% aren’t even aware that they have hypertension If you’re over the age of 50, man or woman… over 57% of the population has high blood pressure! And if you’re over 60 years old, it’s a shocking 67% And it only gets worse… About 77% of people who have their first heart attack, have high blood pressure. About 84% of people having strokes, have high blood pressure. The fact is that high blood pressure is a major cause of a heart attack and stroke. And in my opinion, more important than cholesterol levels. This is why blood pressure drugs are the #2 most prescribed1 drugs in America And get this, there 11 different TYPES2 of “blood pressure lowering” drugs. And a total of over 75 different medications! And YET – this problem is getting worse each and every year mainly because the drugs just aren’t working. Anyway, I mention all of this not to be a “downer” or to “ruin your day”. But to emphasize the importance of making sure you have healthy blood pressure levels and not look for symptoms because there aren’t any reliable ones. Because the statistics show that most of us have elevated blood pressure. So you and I need to make improvements in our life-style. I don’t want you to be another statistic, like my own grandfather, uncle and even my dad. Forget about taking drugs - they don’t work and it’s not a good or safe long-term solution. Natural remedies exist… it’s what I personally use myself, as well as my family. Below I have a great video about this topic, where I reveal the real cause of high blood pressure, as well as the 5 best foods for lowering your blood pressure, naturally. So please don’t feel like “hopeless”. Simple, effective, proven and safe solutions DO exist! ♥ Women, Menopause, High Blood Pressure & A Shorter Lifespan By 20 Years

05:18
My Favorite Formula For Lowering Blood Pressure Naturally: ►►http://drsam.co/yt/BloodPressureFormula ======================================= ♥ Women, Menopause, High Blood Pressure & A Shorter Lifespan By 20 Years ======================================= The Link Between Menopause & High Blood Pressure If you know me, then you’re familiar with the fact I believe so much of the way you look and feel is based on your genetics and hormones. This is probably why I’m an Endocrinology doctor - which is the “study of hormones”. As a woman’s natural estrogen levels and other female hormones decrease due to aging and menopause, her blood pressure starts to increase. This is a MAJOR PROBLEM because hypertension is linked to serious health issues such as: Heart disease Diabetes Kidney & renal failure … all of which can shorten a woman’s lifespan by 10 to 20 years or more! It Gets Worse… What’s even scarier is that high blood pressure levels often give you no visible symptoms. It’s a MYTH that people with high blood pressure will experience symptoms, like nervousness, sweating, headaches, nosebleeds or facial flushing. If you ignore your blood pressure because you think a certain symptom or sign will alert you to the problem, you are taking a dangerous chance with your life. This is a VERY important topic for me because I have a family history of high blood pressure. What’s really scared me personally at an early age, is that my grandfather died immediately with his FIRST and ONLY stroke. My uncle was handicapped and paralyzed for the rest of his life, with his FIRST and ONLY stroke. Thus – NO warnings. NO second chances. NO opportunity to make changes or improvements. And this is why high blood pressure is known as the “silent killer”. Unfortunately, having “high blood pressure” has become a “silent” epidemic… and that’s why I’ve put together this information for you today. 5 Simple & Proven Ways To Avoid & Reduce Menopause-Induced High Blood Pressure Take Your Blood Pressure Regularly You need to take your blood pressure regularly. The goal is to have your reading 120/80 or lower. Better Diet, Include 5 Specific Foods Of course, diet makes hypertension better or worse. You want more healthy fats, fish, fiber, vegetables, lower carbs and limit processed foods. And I think everyone knows this. However, I do have a special bonus video below about 5 best foods for lowering your blood pressure, naturally. Two Best Exercises Exercise is great for better health, however the two best forms of exercise for improving your blood pressure is brisk walking and resistance with weights (dumbbells, machines, cables, etc.). You don’t need much, 30 min, 3-4x a week is great for improving your hormones and reducing your stress. Avoid Taking Daily Painkillers A report from the Harvard School of Medicine revealed that women taking painkillers such as acetaminophen (Tylenol) and ibuprofen (Advil and Motrin) increased their risk for high blood pressure by almost 100% So, take these drugs only as needed and definitely not daily or more than 3x weekly. Aspirin does not cause hypertension, but it has its own set of negative side-effects. Take Natural Herbs, Vitamins & Minerals You don’t need to take harmful medications to have healthy blood pressure levels. Nature already has solutions that are proven to work and are safe. Herbs such as Hawthorne Berry, Grape Seed, Celery Seed, Pomegranate and Lycopene extract… Along with Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium, D3, B6 and few others, will naturally lower your blood pressure and keep it in a healthy range. Below this video, there’s a link to a specific formula that my family and I use to lower our blood pressure and it’s something you can easily utilize for yourself. 10 Signs And Symptoms Of Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)

04:02
Hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, is defined as high pressure in the arteries, that are the vessels which carry blood from the heart to the body. It’s easy to tell whether an adult has high blood pressure because there’s a standard set of measurements: Normal blood pressure—systolic under 120 mmHg and diastolic under 80 mm Hg; Pre-hypertension—systolic 120-139 mmHg or diastolic 80-89 mmHg; Stage 1 hypertension—systolic 140-159 mmHg or diastolic 90-99 mmHg; Stage 2 hypertension—systolic ≥160 or diastolic ≥100 mmHg. Approximately 86 million adults (about 1 out of every 3) in the United States have hypertension. Many factors can affect blood pressure, including - smoking, leading a sedentary lifestyle, a diet with a high salt intake, being overweight or obese, long-term sleep deprivation, a diet focused on meat, dairy products, and eggs, high LDL cholesterol, alcohol abuse or chronic alcohol use, or a family history of high blood pressure. If high blood pressure remains untreated, it can cause kidney failure, heart disease, and increases the risk of stroke. High blood pressure commonly has no symptoms and is often labeled "the silent killer." However, a few people with high blood pressure may experience: #1 Vision problems - hypertension can damage the vessels supplying blood to your retina, causing retinopathy. This serious condition can lead to blurred vision, bleeding in the eye, and complete loss of vision. #2 Nausea - a sensation of unease and discomfort in the stomach with an urge to vomit. #3 Headaches - some individuals with hypertension may experience headaches, but they usually don't occur unless the pressure is notably raised. #4 Erectile Dysfunction - the inability to have and maintain an erection becomes increasingly common in men as they reach age 50. But high blood pressure damages the lining of blood vessels and causes atherosclerosis, limiting blood flow to the penis. #5 Kidney Damage - a high blood pressure can cause damage to the filters and blood vessels in the kidney, making removal of waste from the body difficult. #6 Fatigue - feeling tired all the time and experiencing difficulty with everyday activities, such as climbing stairs, shopping, walking, or carrying groceries. #7 Mental function can also change as a result of hypertension with many experiencing difficulties finding words, memory loss, and an inability to focus. #8 Heart palpitations - to "make up for" the loss in pumping capacity, the heart beats faster. #9 Chest pain which may radiate to the back, arms, neck or jaw. #10 Ringing in the ear - considering the immense amounts of blood flowing in and out of the head and this area, it is no surprise that hypertension can affect one’s hearing. Note - According to various studies, foods or beverages that may help reduce hypertension include - whole grains, legumes, flax seeds, beets, dark green leafy vegetables, sweet potatoes, potatoes, hibiscus tea, and foods high in potassium (such as pistachios, bananas, raisins, almonds, dates). My Favorite Formula For Lowering Blood Pressure Naturally: ►►http://drsam.co/yt/ProvenHBPFormula ======================================= ♥ WARNING - High Blood Pressure Kills More Women Than Men! ======================================= Most people think that “heart” conditions and high blood pressure is more of a “man’s” problem, but it’s actually the opposite! In fact, high blood pressure affects more women than men! Did you know that if you’re a woman, aside from smoking … your biggest risk factor for having heart problems is high blood pressure?... And this is because women have smaller blood vessels in the heart, making them more vulnerable to high blood pressure and inflammation of the blood vessels. In fact, the statistics are startling…. High blood pressure affects one in four women, and kills significantly more women than men: 59% of women compared to 44% of hypertensive men, according to American Heart Association’s 2016 statistics. By the way, your goal for healthy blood pressure levels should be 120/80 or lower. What Causes High Blood Pressure In Women? Pregnancy: The increased blood volume required to nurture a growing fetus—can potentially raise blood pressure to extremely high levels. For this reason, expectant mothers also should have blood pressure readings taken often. Also, hypertension can develop rapidly in the last three months of pregnancy. When this happens, a woman may need treatment—even after delivery. Menopause: Normal age-related hormonal declines, often cause a woman’s arteries to become less elastic and more constrictive, thus contributing to high blood pressure. Unfortunately, giving women synthetic hormones (estrogen and especially progesterone) makes this situation only worse. Metabolic Syndrome: Data from a five-year National Health and Nutrition Examination study of adults with hypertension revealed what causes hypertension in women: imbalance in cholesterol levels, high blood sugar levels and excess abdominal fat. These are typically associated with “metabolic syndrome”, which often leads to heart disease and diabetes. Pain Medications DOUBLES The Problem A report from the Harvard School of Medicine revealed that women taking painkillers such as acetaminophen (Tylenol) and ibuprofen (Advil and Motrin) increased their risk for high blood pressure by almost 100% That’s DOUBLE the rate! And this is because of the fluid retention and decreased kidney function due to these drugs. So, only take these drugs occasionally, as needed and definitely not daily or more than 3x weekly. By the way, aspirin does not cause hypertension, but it has its own set of negative side-effects. Synthetic Hormones Makes Thing Worse Synthetic hormone replacement therapy (HRT), such as medroxyprogesterone found in drugs like Progestin and Provera, can also intensify high blood pressure by causing blood vessels to constrict. Additionally, an increase in progesterone causes a decrease in estrogen, which is NOT what you want because estrogen tends help blood pressure in women. Ironically, higher estrogen levels in men increases blood pressure. 5 Best Way For Women To Protect Themselves From High Blood Pressure Manage your stress levels - sleep better, journal, relax and be more mindful of your feelings. “Don’t sweat the small stuff”. Lose unwanted fat. Eat better - more healthy fats, fish, fiber, vegetables, while decreasing carbs, sugars, alcohol and processed foods. Exercise regularly - walking and lifting weights are best, 3-4x weekly is plenty. Take natural herbs and vitamins that are clinically proven to help lower high blood pressure - such as Hawthorne Berry, Grape Seed, Celery Seed, Pomegranate and Lycopene extract… Along with Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium, D3 and B6. Remember, women really need to be careful with their blood pressure, especially if you’re over the age of 40 and are pre-menopausal or have gone through menopause. I’ve done this because hypertension is called the “silent killer” because there are no symptoms for it. And of course, high blood pressure can lead to a heart attack or stroke and it’s more of a problem in my opinion, than having “high” cholesterol. Additionally, going from a high blood pressure (over 140/90 mmHg) to normal levels (120/80 mmHG ), let alone to ideal blood pressure levels (115/75 mmHG) dramatically improves your life by1 38% lower risk of heart failure; 43% lower risk of cardiovascular death; 27% lower risk of mortality overall. However, today I’m going to reveal the #1 cause of high blood pressure and NO, it’s not your diet, lack of exercise or stress! It’s because of the negative changes in your hormones, due to AGING! First, take a look at the stats and chart from the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) of high blood pressure among adults2 over the age of 18 between 2015-2016 The first bar on the left that’s kinda black, shows the TOTAL number of people who have high blood pressure. Basically, it’s 30% of the population over the age of 18. That’s a lot. What’s worse is that this does NOT take into account PRE-hypertension numbers, which means even more people have “almost” high blood pressure and don’t even know it. The second, gray bar, shows the % from age 18-39. Men are 9.2% and women 5.6%. It’s not much, but the numbers are higher by 2% compared to 2013, just 2-3 years before and their even high in 2018.3 The third, green bar, shows the % for age 40-59. Men are at 37.2% and women 29.4%. This is a MASSIVE jump, up 420% for men and a whopping 525% for women!!! Why such a huge jump all of a sudden?... Because men’s testosterone starts to declined in his late 20’s and even more so in his 30’s. However, there’s a huge drop starting in his 40’s and it’s called “andropause”. And women, they start “menopause” in their 40’s as well, which causes massive negative changes in all their hormones - estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, adrenal and thyroid hormones Finally, the forth, lighter-green bar, shows the % for age 60 and over. Men are 58.5% and women 66.8%. Both age groups are significantly worse. But the women are much worse because the negative changes in hormones because of menopause is more dramatic than men’s “andropause” So What Does This Mean For You? Well, you’re probably thinking “great, there’s nothing I can do. I can’t turn back time, so I guess this is it?!!” No, this just means you have to be more proactive about monitoring and improving your blood pressure levels as you age, especially after the age of 40. Now, the best way to find solutions to problems, is to know the CAUSE of it. So what you need to do is make some simple lifestyle changes and utilize specific nutrients that a more “mature” body needs, because of the changes in hormones, ... so your body can help heal itself naturally, from within. This is the ONLY long-term, safe solution for improving your blood pressure and overall health… and I think you’d agree with this. In fact, this is why there are over 75 different blood pressure drugs with over a dozen different mechanism. This is also why most people with hypertension end up taking on average 2 drugs AT THE SAME TIME, to make improvements. Of course, if you have extremely high blood pressure, such as 180/120, then you MUST take a drug right away to lower it fast and get it under control immediately. YES, lifestyle matters because DIET - what you put in your body (food and liquids), EXERCISE - How much, how often and what kind. STRESS MANAGEMENT - emotional and physical SUPPLEMENTS - herbs, plant extracts, vitamins, minerals and amino acids ======================================== Thank you for watching. Causes of High Blood Pressure in Pregnancy

03:23
Causes of high blood pressure in pregnancy This video is about high blood pressure that occurs during pregnancy. The medical expression for high blood pressure is hypertension. Hypertension in pregnancy Three types of high blood pressure can be developed in a pregnant woman: 1. The first type of high blood pressure is called chronic hypertension, and it may appear even before a woman has become pregnant, although she has not been aware of its existence. 2. Gestational hypertension is a type that appears at the end of pregnancy. Later, after giving birth to a baby, it is no longer present. 3. Pregnancy-induced hypertension is a type of high blood pressure that can cause serious problems for the mother and the baby. This type usually appears after the 20th week of pregnancy, and is also called toxemia and preeclampsia. Problems due to high blood pressure If a mother has chronic hypertension, the baby may grow more slowly than normal, and because of that, the baby may not develop as it is supposed to be. According to medicine, gestational hypertension can not cause serious problems for you and your baby, but you may be more predisposed to high blood pressure later in life. Over time, it is much more serious and has severe signs, such as headaches, blurred vision, abdominal pain and dizziness. It also affects the baby in a way that slows down its growth, causing a premature birth. The treatment of high blood pressure during pregnancy Pregnant women should be very careful during pregnancy and should not take any medication that is not safe for the baby. If you are not sure about the medication, consult your doctor. In a case of chronic hypertension, women can continue taking the medication beforehand, paying attention to whether it is safe for the baby. Doctors usually do more ultrasound in these cases, to make sure the baby progresses well. The gestational hypertension does not require any treatment, but only in case of development of induced gestational hypertension, the doctor will control more closely the state of the woman. The induced gestational hypertension can only be stopped after delivery, and the status of a woman and a baby decide on the treatment. In case of chronic hypertension, after a delivery, high blood pressure will remain high, unless it is treated. It is important that a woman treat him so that he does not have any problems later on. The gestational hypertension and the hypertension induced by pregnancy return to normal after delivery. Signs of High Blood Pressure

http://bit.ly/bloodPressureNow Signs of High Blood Pressure Blurry vision, trouble breathing, nausea, and disorientation are all serious signs of high blood pressure—especially when experienced together. Generally, such signs don't manifest themselves until someone reaches critical blood pressure levels that require immediate medical attention. If unattended, severe levels of blood pressure can result in life-threatening episodes, such as seizures, aneurysms, and heart attacks. High blood pressure can also cause metabolism to fluctuate, resulting in weight gain and an increased risk of diabetes, strokes, and heart problems. Very high blood pressures can also cause permanent damage to one's vision. The signs of high blood pressure, or hypertension, are often so subtle as to appear nonexistent. When they do manifest, the most conspicuous signs of high blood pressure are dizziness, blurry vision, breathing problems, and a pounding pulse. Less clear symptoms include headaches, nose bleeds, and nausea. Most individuals with early-stage hypertension don't experience noticeable or worrisome symptoms, although some do. Potentially life-threatening levels of high blood pressure typically are reflected in one or more of the aforementioned symptoms. Individuals who don't yet experience constant, severe blood pressure levels may not realize their condition, due to subtle or nonexistent symptoms. What symptoms do manifest may be difficult to interpret as signs of high blood pressure. Such individuals may experience an increase in headaches, for example, or have more nose bleeds. Occasionally, they may experience a faster heart rate that results in the sensation of a pounding in the chest, neck, and head. They may also experience irregular heartbeats. Such symptoms are likely to continue to manifest if high levels of blood pressure become more severe. Due to the fact that signs of high blood pressure are notoriously difficult to detect, it's important that adults be vigilant about having their blood pressure checked at least once every couple of years. Many cases of high blood pressure—cases that would otherwise go undetected—are discovered during a routine doctor's visit. Without routinely checking one's blood pressure, hypertension problems might not become apparent until they reach severe levels. If for some reason a visit to a doctor is problematic, many grocery stores feature stations where individuals can check their blood pressure for free or for a nominal fee. These stations are able to give a general idea of one's blood pressure, but their readings aren't nearly as accurate as at a doctor's office. Certain demographics should be extra vigilant about detecting signs of high blood pressure. Blood pressure is affected by age, which means that as individuals get older, they should accordingly take more measures to regulate and monitor blood pressure. Blood pressure is also affected by being overweight, and stress also can cause blood pressure to rise. Diets insufficient in potassium and vitamin D, and diets too rich in sodium are known to elevate blood pressure as well. Individuals who smoke tobacco or drink alcohol also should be aware that such substances can adversely affect blood pressure. Pregnant women also are at an increased risk for hypertension, which can lead to preeclampsia, a possibly deadly condition. Lastly, anyone whose family has a history of complications with blood pressure should be extra vigilant about watching out for their own increased risk of developing hypertension http://bit.ly/bloodPressureNow Signs of High Blood Pressure https://youtu.be/s95FX_mGOlc

Signs of High Blood Pressure During Pregnancy

What are the signs of high blood pressure during pregnancy? If you are afraid you have high blood pressure, you need to see a doctor. High blood pressure is dangerous. What could it cause? In the worst scenario, it could cause a stroke, heart attack or pre-eclampsia and premature delivery. What are the symptoms I need to be on the lookout for? You could see symptoms like visual disturbances. I feel that way when I've been throwing up so much I'm dizzy. You'd have blurred vision and sensitivity to light. You might also have headaches that won't stop and the sound of blood rushing in your ears. I suppose a grocery store blood pressure monitor would be more certain. If you think your blood pressure is going up, you need to get to a doctor. Pre-eclampsia can be life threatening. How can I prevent it? In theory, having a healthy cardiovascular system and limiting salt intake help. In reality, we don't have a good preventative measure. If only they could give me high blood pressure medicine to treat it. The only cure is delivering the baby, but that all too often leads to a stillbirth or preemie. I know that high blood pressure can ruin your kidneys, making pregnancy far worse than the regular literal bathroom runs the baby already causes. Prenatal diabetes raises the risk of high blood pressure, and pre-eclampsia has a strong correlation to it. Unlike the peeing in bleach test to determine a child's gender. If you felt light headed or had blurred vision after that, it is due to chlorine fumes, not high blood pressure. How often does pre-eclampsia occur? High blood pressure shows up in around one in fifteen pregnancies, and your odds go up with age, obesity and having multiples. The only thing worse than multiples is multiple preemies. That is guaranteed to give you high blood pressure if you didn't already have it.

What REALLY Causes High Blood Pressure (Hypertension)?

Give Dr. Berg a Review: http://bit.ly/DrBergReviewGoogle VIDEOS ON INSULIN RESISTANCE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxl8h... Dr. Berg talks about the link between high blood pressure and insulin resistance. Insulin resistances, which is high insulin stiffens your arteries, disrupts the endothelial layer of your arteries, which start the hardening of the arteries as well as the cascade effect of cholesterol and calcium to accumulate in the arteries. High insulin (insulin resistance) creates inflammation in the arteries. This condition also causes sodium retention and a loss of potassium because insulin is necessary to allow this mineral in the cell. Diuretics also have a side-effect of causing insulin resistance. The treatment of hypertension is mainly medications because we are told that there is no cure, only treatment. The pathophysiology is in reality a disruption of the artery wall creating vasoconstriction, stiffness and less elasticity. The additional symptom of hypertension is headaches and a risk for stroke and heart attack. The home remedies involve actions to lower insulin - cutting out sugar, adding vegetables to get your potassium and even apple cider vinegar can help. I am 25 weeks pregnant with high blood pressure. How can I lower it?

03:00
Preeclampsia is a condition of pregnancy caused by something that occurs during pregnancy that causes a woman's blood pressure to go up. For most people a normal blood pressure is about 120 over 80. If your blood pressure starts to slowly creep up and it's 140 over 90 or greater, then the doctor is probably going to start monitoring you. You can expect them to draw your blood and test your urine and watch your baby and also ask you a lot about certain symptoms you might be feeling like headaches, dizziness, blurry vision, and a sudden increase in swelling. If you're at home and ever have this persistent headache that you just can't kick it's always a good idea to go get your blood pressure checked. In your specific case you mentioned that your blood pressure was 144 over 72, the doctor tested your urine and it sounds like there's not any protein there. You want to know what you can do to lower your blood pressure. There really is nothing you can do to reverse the process once it's started but you can do something to try to slow it down. If the doctor has told you to be on bed rest or modified best rest then follow their advice because when we are at rest our blood pressure is lower. Your blood pressure at rest may slowly start to creep up because if your body is developing preeclampsia this will naturally happen. Because the cause is pregnancy the cure is delivery. It never starts to reverse itself until you've actually delivered the baby. This becomes very complicated if you're preterm. You did mention that you're 25 weeks and obviously we don't want to deliver you at this point unless it's necessary. You're the best incubator for your baby and there are no other incubators out there that are better. But sometimes if you develop preeclampsia then it becomes necessary to deliver the baby for their wellbeing and for yours. Ultimately complications of this can be as severe as a stroke and seizures for you. These things can also compromise the baby and there can be compromised blood flow to the baby because the high blood pressure also affects your blood's ability to flow through the placenta. They'll watch you very closely. They'll monitor your blood, your urine, your baby, combine all of these pieces of the puzzle together and it might come to the point where you have to deliver early for the wellbeing of you and your baby. Hopefully that's not the case. Hopefully you can carry your baby to full term. If you're developing it this early then I would keep in close contact with your doctor and make sure if you start to have suspicious symptoms that you get your blood pressure checked right away. Again, the only thing you can do is be at rest most of the time. Do this under the direction of your doctor and ask your doctor if they feel like it's necessary in your case. If you have any other questions for me feel free to ask them on our Facebook page and recommend us to your friends and family too.

Health Tips - Warning Signs Of High Blood Pressure That You Shouldn’t Ignore

06:30
High Blood Pressure Symptoms. Please SUBSCRIBE : http://bit.ly/2e9Su11 As our blood flows through the vessels and arteries throughout our body, it creates a certain amount of pressure on them. Normal blood pressure is considered to be 140/90 and lower than that. The first number refers to the systolic blood pressure, which is the pressure of the heart when it beats. The second number is the diastolic blood pressure and it is the strain measurement of the heart when it relaxes during beats. Which factors can lead to an elevated blood pressure? Stress can definitely trigger the occurrence of high blood pressure. When we are under stress, our body produces stress hormones adrenaline and cortisol, which instantly causes blood pressure to rise. In stressful situations, our blood vessels constrict, putting more pressure on the artery walls as the blood flows through them. Genes also have a part to play. If your close relatives suffer from elevated blood pressure, the likelihood that you will be affected is bigger too. The good news is that we can control some of the risk factors by leading a healthy lifestyle and eating healthily. Nutrition also plays a major role. Diet high in saturated fats and sodium can significantly increase the risk of hypertension. It is therefore recommended that we eat an abundance of whole foods that are low in sodium and high in heart-friendly fats, vitamins, minerals and fiber. Sm0king, as well as excessive alcohol and caffeine intake, can also lead to a high blood pressure, in addition to leading a sedentary lifestyle and being overweight. The likelihood also grows with age. People who suffer from disorders of the endocrine system, diabetes, high cholesterol, and kidney problems are more commonly affected by elevated blood pressure. In some persons, hypertension can suddenly rear its ugly head in pregnancy, in which case it has to be treated instantly since it can lead to preterm delivery and other serious complications in both mother and the baby. Why is it so important to treat high blood pressure? Elevated blood pressure means that the heart and the blood vessels are under a bigger amount of strain than they should be normally. This condition increases the risk of having a heart attack and/or stroke, kidney disorders and dementia. The limbs are also affected by an increased blood pressure – the peripheral arteries in the legs suffer too. What are the warning signs to look for? The dangerous feature of hypertension is that it can go without symptoms. Some people are not even aware that they suffer from it. It is, therefore, necessary to have regular health checkups. The following symptoms, however, indicate a dangerous rise in your blood pressure and they have to be treated by a physician immediately: Blurred vision. Bleeding from the nose. A pounding sensation in the neck and in the ears. Severe headache. Blood in urine. A feeling of numbness. Heavy and difficult breathing. A feeling of lightheadedness and frequent dizziness. Bad circulation. What are the methods for treating hypertension? It is essential that you promptly consult your physician in case you notice a rise in your blood pressure. It can be controlled by a combination of medication and some lifestyle changes. Moderate exercising is considered as a natural way to control hypertension. When we exercise, the oxygen intake is increased and the blood vessels are widened, not to mention the stress relief that we obtain from being physical active. What about nutrition? When it comes to the role of nutrition, DASH diet is the recommended option not only for reducing blood pressure but for improving and maintaining health in general. The abbreviation DASH stands for Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension. It includes the following: consuming dairy products that have a low-fat content; eating a variety of fresh produce; choosing fish, poultry, grains and nuts as a rich source of protein rather than foods that are high in cholesterol and saturated fats. ♥ WARNING: Painkillers Cause High Blood Pressure, Especially In Women

My Favorite Formula For Lowering Blood Pressure Naturally: ►►http://drsam.co/yt/LowerYourPressure ======================================= ♥ WARNING: Painkillers Cause High Blood Pressure, Especially In Women ======================================= Most of us, when something hurts, we simply pop a couple pain killers and don’t give it a second thought. A headache, joint pain, muscle pain from working out, menstrual pain and so forth. However, recent research has found a direct connection between high blood pressure levels and the use non-aspirin painkillers - such as acetaminophen (Tylenol) and ibuprofen (Advil and Motrin). Additionally, the report reveals a much higher risk for women, than men! A Harvard study involved 5,123 women age 34 to 77, all having healthy blood pressure levels to start. However, here’s what the study revealed: For women not taking painkillers, the risk of developing high blood pressure levels was only about 1-3 percent a year. Women taking 400 mg a day of over-the-counter painkillers (the equivalent of two ibuprofen) had a 60-78 percent increased risk of developing high blood pressure levels. Women taking an average daily dose of 500 mg of acetaminophen (one extra-strength tablet) had a 93-99 percent increased risk of developing high blood pressure levels within three years. That’s DOUBLE! The cause of this is because of the fluid retention and decreased kidney function due to these drugs. Why Is It Worse For Women? This is because women have smaller blood vessels in the heart, making them more vulnerable to high blood pressure and inflammation of the blood vessels. Now, aging causes higher blood pressure for BOTH men and women. However, as women get closer to menopause, there is a dramatic drop in estrogen, which causes a woman’s arteries to become less elastic and more constrictive, thus contributing to high blood pressure. Unfortunately, giving women synthetic hormones (estrogen and especially progesterone) makes this situation only worse. Options You should only take these drugs occasionally, as needed and definitely not daily or more than 3x weekly. By the way, aspirin does not cause high blood pressure, but it has its own set of negative side-effects, such as stomach pain, ulcers, excessive bleeding, becoming acidic, etc. Most pain is related to inflammation. So drinking more water, taking higher dosages of Vitamin C, Magnesium and Curcummin will help. Lastly, make SURE you control your blood pressure using natural solutions, especially if you’re over the age of 40 - both men and women. It’s one of the primary causes of heart and brain aging. Causes and prevention of High Blood Pressure in young people - Dr. Surekha Tiwari

02:07
Hypertension first is classified as anybody who has the systolic blood pressure higher than 170 and diastolic pressure higher than 90. If this condition is found under a person under age of 30 years then you're talking about a young person getting hypertension, hypertension before 30 means the are trees are in a beautiful state the heart is beating very nicely there is no reason for this person getting Hypertension until and unless, now again there are two factor one factor is something is essential hypertension in which no known cause is found, the heart is okay, the arteries are fine, the cholesterol is normal yet the person's BP is never this could be genetic but this is a very very small percentage of the over all problem. The higher percentage of problem always comes from Lifestyle, Lifestyle again we can divide into two, first thing is substance abuse alcohol, cigarette believe it is the shortest method of shooting your BP . You have it in your own hand literally saying so. Second thing is lack of sleep bad time table when you don't think that your body needs to rest because you're young and you're energetic. No, that is the time skip as compared to death and that is a time and all the functions of the body take a backseat and this way you need to give yourself that rest, third thing is the high stress with everybody seems to be mounting for that is again something which you need to deal with the daily dose of exercise, if all these Lifestyle measures are taken care of and then they are medicines which can help your heart remain normal even with high BP Levels is good enough and nobody cannot walk outside the realms of reality, have a good lifestyle and then come to a solution.
4 Ways You Can Reduce High Blood Pressure

03:05
Most people who have high blood pressure have no idea that they have it. We bring you the bottom line on the silent symptoms of high blood pressure. Hi, I'm Pilar Gerasimo with a Bottom Line Expert report on high blood pressure. I'm here today with Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum. She is the director of Women's Heart Health at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Dr. Suzanne, let's get right into it. What are the symptoms, if any, of high blood pressure? You know about six million Americans are living with high blood pressure, and it's called the silent killer because you can't exactly tell that you have it—sometimes there are no symptoms. On the other hand, some people can develop symptoms like headaches, blurring of vision, shortness of breath, even chest pain. So if you have any of these symptoms, please go see your doctor, because the silent killer is actually just that. It could be a killer. Aside from obvious things like excess weight or obesity, what are the primary risk factors for high blood pressure? When it's not due to family history or a hereditary problem or an issue with the kidneys, you have to look at the lifestyle issues again. Alcohol—excess of alcohol or binge drinking can lead to high blood pressure. Also look at your diet. Too much salt—it is actually a risk factor for hypertension. And if you're not exercising—sedentary lifestyle—or if you have diabetes. All of the things that lead to the stiffening of the arteries are the risk factors. Your diet, your exercise, even stress. Diabetes, smoking, high cholesterol...all of these things can lead to high blood pressure. Is high blood pressure treatable without medication? You mentioned a lot of lifestyle factors. If it's not due to a primary issue, as I mentioned—like the kidney or an adrenal issue—then it's truly about lifestyle. It is truly about the choices you make with diet and exercise and how you live your life. I would say watch your alcohol, don't smoke and really watch what you eat, how you move, and how you choose to live. The bottom line on blood pressure is that unless you're dealing with a specific medical condition like the ones Dr. Steinbaum mentioned, most of the interventions that are going to be the most helpful in lowering your blood pressure are lifestyle related—nutrition, exercise and potentially a medication if called for—so check with your doctor and see what will work best for you. How to Lower Your High Blood Pressure During Pregnancy

12:26
How to Lower Your High Blood Pressure During Pregnancy High blood pressure and pregnancy isn’t necessarily a dangerous combination. But having hypertension during pregnancy requires special care, irrespective of whether you are diagnosed with this problem before or after conception. High blood pressure, medically known as hypertension, means the force of the blood that pushes against the walls of your arteries is too high. Blood pressure readings of 140/90 mm Hg is considered too high. While hypertension can affect anyone, pregnant women are at an increased risk. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, an increasing number of pregnant women in the United States suffer from hypertension. In fact, according to the American Pregnancy Association, high blood pressure affects about 6 to 8 percent of pregnant women. During pregnancy, women can suffer from different types of high blood pressure, such as: Gestational hypertension that develops after 20 weeks of pregnancy Chronic hypertension that was present before pregnancy or that occurs before 20 weeks of pregnancy Chronic hypertension with superimposed preeclampsia that occurs in women with chronic high blood pressure before pregnancy Preeclampsia, a type of pregnancy complication characterized by high blood pressure and signs of damage to another organ system. There are several possible causes of high blood pressure during pregnancy, according to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. They include being overweight or obese, an inactive lifestyle, smoking, drinking alcohol, a first-time pregnancy, carrying more than one child, being age 40 or older, and having a family history of kidney disease, preeclampsia or chronic hypertension. Using assistive technologies, such as in vitro fertilization, during the conception process also increases the risk of high blood pressure in a pregnant woman, according to the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. High blood pressure during pregnancy puts extra stress on your heart and kidneys, which in turn increase the risk of heart disease, kidney disease and strokes. Along with these, other complications may include fetal growth restriction, preterm delivery, placental abruption and cesarean delivery. When suffering from hypertension during pregnancy, it is important to monitor your blood pressure level closely throughout the pregnancy. Managing your blood pressure can help you have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. At the same time, ultrasound exams should be done frequently to track the growth of the baby in the womb.

High blood pressure can be controlled mostly by using home remedies. How to Lower High Blood Pressure Grapes Grape is a multi-vitamin fruit, which is a rich source of potassium and phosphorus. Eating grapes on a day to day helps reduce the risk of high blood pressure. Banana Banana contains potassium in quantity. It is a rich source of vitamin B6, vitamin C, and magnesium. If a banana consumed every day, high blood pressure could be controlled. Along with banana, raisins, dried apricots, raisins, orange juice, spinach, sweet potatoes (cooked), and winter squash also works wonders. Onion juice Mix ½ teaspoon of onion juice and honey. Take this mixture two times a day for 1 to 2 weeks. You will notice an improvement in blood pressure. You can also eat a raw onion and salad. Honey Take half a tablespoon of honey and add half a tablespoon of onion juice in it. Mix and take twice a day to avoid high blood pressure. Garlic Take two garlic cloves and mash them. Swallow it. You can also eat garlic in a cooked form. Raw garlic improves blood flow and reduces pressure on the heart. If you can not eat raw garlic, this is what you can do. Take one tablespoon of water and add a few drops of juice of fresh garlic in it. Drink twice a day. Coconut water Coconut water will help keep the body hydrated. Drinking coconut water on a daily basis can control high blood pressure. Fenugreek seeds Take two tablespoons of fenugreek seeds and boil in hot water for a couple of minutes. Then strain and make a fine paste. Take this paste in the morning on an empty stomach and at night. Watermelon seeds Take two tablespoons of dried watermelon seeds and crush them. Now, boil 1 cup of water and add these seeds crushed to it. Let stand for about an hour and then strain it. Drink this water every day. Curry leaves Take 25 to 30 curry leaves and make juice by adding 1 cup of water. Drink in the morning. If you cannot stand the taste, you can add a few drops of lemon juice to it. Mint leaves Two tablespoons of dried mint leaves can be consumed to prevent high blood pressure. You can also mix in the lemon water or sprinkle on salads.
