Engelhard 2006 ======================================= 🍅 Tomato Seeds Can Lower Your Blood Pressure Naturally ======================================= Today I’m going to talk about how you can lower your blood pressure and also slash your risk for many diseases, by using a special form of tomato seeds. Now, what I’m referring to specifically is Lycopene, which is a powerful antioxidant found in red produce such as tomatoes and tomato products, watermelon, and pink grapefruit. Studies have shown Lycopene has a very beneficial effect for human health, by being able to help lower blood pressure. It’s also a very powerful antioxidants, by preventing damage done by free radicals, especially to your arteries and blood vessels.4 Ingesting Lycopene can help protect against cardiovascular disease, as well as increase general health.5 Lycopene has also been demonstrated to be able to lower blood cholesterol, adding to the beneficial effect it has on cardiovascular health.4 The Major Problem Eating lots of vegetables and fruits that are high natural antioxidants is great for your health.3 Unfortunately, the problem with food is that you have to eat a LOT of it to get enough dosage and variety of antioxidants you’ll need. Secondly, most foods these days, even the “organic” ones, are lacking in the nutrients that was once available decades and centuries ago. Now, the major problem here is that the fiber content in lycopene-rich foods, such as tomatoes, interferes with lycopene absorption and bioavailability.6,7 That’s where supplementation comes in to help fix this problem. In fact, in a clinical study where Lycopene extract (5% Lycopersicon Esculentum) was given to patients, there was a significant reduction in blood pressure during an 8 week trial (-10/-4 mmHg), while no changes in blood pressure were observed during the placebo “non-user” period.8 Eating tomatoes usually does not break open the seeds, so the Lycopene naturally found in tomatoes is not very useful for human health. Not to mention, you'd also have to eat many pounds of tomatoes daily to absorb the required amount of Lycopene that's clinically proven to lower blood pressure. One thing to remember is you never want to use only ONE ingredient to achieve a health goal. This is because your body will quickly adapt and the ingredient will stop working. This means you’ll need to use a higher and higher dosage -- which will eventually lead to negative side-effects. Of course, this makes sense because you don’t only eat ONE type of vegetable (broccoli) all the time for total health, right?... Additionally, whatever is causing the health problem - in this case, “high blood pressure”, is NEVER from only ONE cause -- it’s usually multiple reasons. And that's why you want to “attack” the problem using multiple mechanisms. Research has shown that Lycopene extract works much better, when utilized with other complementary ingredients, for dramatically improved blood pressure and total heart-health. Clinically proven ingredients to use with Lycopene extract is: Magnesium “blend” (glycinate, malate, citrate, etc.) English Hawthorn Berry Extracts (standardized to 3.2% vitexin-2-rhamnosides and 2% flavonoids) Grape Seed Extract (MegaNatural®-BP 85% Total Phenolics) Celery Seed Extract (85% 3nB; 42.5% phthalides) Pomegranate Extract (5:1) L-Arginine (L-Arginine-Alpha-Ketoglutarate) ======================================== Thank you for watching. My favorite solution for lowering your blood pressure in just a few days ►►http://drsam.co/yt/LowerHBPNow ======================================= 8 Clinically Proven Foods That Lower High Blood Pressure ======================================= However, the good news is that there are about 8 specific foods that are clinically proven to work… IF you take the right kind and the correct amounts. Raw Garlic Cloves Garlic has many health benefits, especially for your heart and one of them is lowering high blood pressure. However, for it to really work you need to consume at least 3, RAW cloves of garlic daily. Unfortunately, the problem here is that your breath and body is going to smell. I tried everything with my parents, including taking herbal garlic supplements -- same problem. And if the garlic supplement says “odorless”, then it doesn’t work because the key extracts such as “allicin” is removed. Tree Nuts - Cashews and Almonds Tree nuts, and NOT peanuts, which come from the ground — are linked with many metabolic health benefits. Almonds and cashews really stand out, particularly when it comes to metabolic problems such as high blood pressure. This is because they contain high levels of magnesium, a mineral the most of us are deficient in. And a lack of magnesium is strongly linked to high blood pressure. Just make sure that these nuts are eaten RAW -- not “roasted”, which negatively changes the fat structure. Of course, not salted either. And be mindful of how many you eat because each almond or cashew is about 15 calories, so they can quickly make you fat if you don’t pay attention. Celery Celery is great for lowering elevated blood pressure and works similarly to “Calcium channel blocking” drugs… which are designed to lower blood pressure. But celery has NO negative side-effects and it’s very low in calories, so it’s great all around. The only problem is for it to be really effective, you’d have to eat at least 5 POUNDS of the stuff daily. So if you can juice it, that’s great. If not, my suggestion is to take Celery Seed Extract (42.5% phthalides)... one pill is the equivalent of eating 50 lbs of celery. That’s why it works so well and one of my favorite solutions! English Hawthorn Berries There’s a special form of English Hawthorn Berry Extract that is clinically shown to improve blood pressure levels 17% in only 6 weeks. One additional (and major) benefit is that it also helps regulate your body's stress response, including lowering the stress hormone, Cortisol. This is very important because many times our blood pressure goes up when we’re under extra STRESS and English Hawthorn Berries deals with this effectively. You would need to eat at least one cup of it daily. Don’t bother drinking it because many of the benefits are in the skin as well. However, a faster and easier way is to simply take the extract form of it in a pill, which is the equivalent of 3 cups of berries. Pomegranate Pomegranate is an amazing fruit with so many health benefits, especially for lowering high blood pressure. Forget about drinking the juice because it’ll shoot up your insulin levels which will indirectly increase your blood pressure. Best to have the actual fruit. Or if you don’t have the time to do this daily, you can use Pomegranate Extract in a pill, which is clinically proven to lower blood pressure by 12% in 30 days Tomatoes Tomatoes have many benefits -- they help with your eyes, prostate and lowering blood pressure. The main reason being the Lycopene extract found in specific forms of tomato seeds. Grape Seeds Grape seeds are fantastic seeds and are more effective for improved heart health than Olive Oil. For salad dressing, I suggest using grape seed oil. But don’t cook with it because it negatively changes the chemical structure of the fat. What’s even more effective is a patented form of Grape Seed EXTRACT that’s clinically proven to lower your blood pressure 14 pts in only 30 days. Beetroots Finally there’s a vegetable called Beetroot. This helps vasodilate and open up your arteries for improved blood flow and lower blood pressure levels. Foods To Lower Blood Pressure Naturally Trying to learn how to lower your blood pressure naturally with better food and nutrition? Good idea! High blood pressure is a common problem — so common, in fact, that one in three Americans suffer from it. People may have a genetic predisposition for high blood pressure, and stress and an unhealthy lifestyle often contribute to it. 1. Kale, collards and other leafy greens: These plants are easy to grow in your own yard and are high in fiber and vitamin A, and low in sugars. Recent research suggests that inorganic nitrates, found in these plants, may relax the blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more freely. Plant leafy greens in early spring, as soon as the soil is soft. 2. Green peas: Green peas also contain plenty of fiber and vitamins. Plant them early in the spring since peas tend to wither and dwindle when temperatures rise. 3. Tomatoes: The chemical lycopene, responsible for tomato’s bright color, is also a powerful antioxidant. Buy disease-free tomato plants and wait until after the last frost to plant them. 4. Sweet potatoes: Sweet potatoes contain fiber, vitamin A and antioxidants, as well. Sweet potatoes need warm temperatures and a long growing season to mature. 5. Winter squash: Also high in fiber, beta carotene and vitamin A, winter squash need plenty of room, fertile soil and a long growing season. 6. Berries: Dr.Parente says a recent study found that eating a cup of blueberries or strawberries weekly may prevent high blood pressure. Strawberries grow well in full sun and moist, rich soil. Blueberries, on the other hand, have very specific growing needs. Unless your soil is very acidic (4.5 to 5.5) you’re probably better off buying fresh or frozen berries. 7. Apricots: Apricots are a good source of fiber and potassium, which has been shown to reduce or prevent high blood pressure. Apricots thrive in climates with warm summers and mild winters. Avoid dried apricots, since they contain more sugar. 8. Bananas: Also high in potassium, bananas help remove excess sodium from the body, says Dr.Parente. 9. Cantaloupe: High in potassium and beta carotene, cantaloupe is refreshing alone, in fruit salads or blended in smoothies. Grow it in full sun in moist, rich soil. Incorporating fruits and vegetables into your diet may do more than just reduce your blood pressure. Fruits and vegetables are low in calories, aiding in weight loss, and you’ll probably have more energy, as well. How I lowered my dad's blood pressure, without drugs or diets: ►►http://drsam.co/yt/LowerYourBP ======================================= How To Lower Your Blood Pressure Naturally ======================================= This is a really important question because most people don’t know that high blood pressure (hypertension) is the most important risk factor for premature deaths… It accounts for over 50% of all deaths caused by cardiovascular disease and 14% of all total deaths each year! Globally, high blood pressure affects 27% of the population and the stats are even worse in the US, about 35% of the population! And get this, it has been estimated that 90% of Americans are expected to develop high blood pressure by the age of 65. I’m very familiar with the stats because I have a family history of high blood pressure (my dad’s side), causing heart attacks and strokes. “Normal” Is Still Too High The newest research suggests that even “normal” blood pressure (120–129 / 80–84 mmHg) increases the risk of death from cardiovascular disease by 46% on average. For women, the risk was slightly lower. But for men, it was much higher—80%, regardless of age. These results are alarming in light of the fact that 33% US citizens have a blood pressure in the normal/high range (129–139 / 84–95 mmHg).... Drugs Don’t Even Work Making the problem worse, studies have shown that prescription drugs for “high normal” blood pressure and even mild hypertension are not effective. A large review of randomized, clinical trials (performed by the prestigious Cochrane Collaboration) found that anti-hypertensive drugs used to treat mild hypertension (140–159 / 90–99 mm/Hg) did not reduce disease complications or the risk of death. What Does All Of This Mean For You?… Even mild hypertension, while still in the “normal” range, can nearly double your risk of heart disease and thus, potentially leading to a heart attack or stroke. So that means we need to… Lower Your Blood Pressure, Naturally High blood pressure affects only 1% of hunter-gatherer populations following a traditional diet,.... but its prevalence increases when those cultures adopt a western diet and lifestyle … DIET Remember that your genes and hormones are primary controlling factors in how you look and feel. And, what you EAT controls your hormones and thus, dictates “gene expression”. Eating the wrong foods can cause hypertension. Pay attention to: Less Sugar & Simple Carbohydrates – When your blood sugar spikes up, typically from eating sugar or from processed/refined carbohydrates, your blood pressure goes up and blood flow decreases. More Vegetables & Fruits – These foods have higher levels of potassium, magnesium, minerals and vitamins which help lower blood pressure. In fact, this is why Blood Pressure Optimizer, utilizes the most potent blood pressure lowering extracts from Hawthorn Berries, Grape Seeds, Celery Seeds, Pomegranate and tomatoes. Less Meat & More Fish – Cold water fish has many blood pressure lowering benefits, primarily because of the healthy fats. The very opposite of modern day meats. If you don’t want to take fish oil pills, just have cold water fish 3-4x weekly. LIFESTYLE Lose Weight – Being overweight is never good for your body, and this includes hypertension. Exercise – You don’t need much. Just get out and WALK daily, even if it’s just 3x a week for only 15-20 minutes. Sleep – My sleep is horrible and as we get older, it seems to get worse for most of us. Try to get to bed earlier. Go Outside – Sunlight helps lower blood pressure. And by walking outside 3x weekly, you’ll get two benefits in one. Relax – We live in stressful times, so you need to take a “time-out” daily and relax. SUPPLEMENTS The right supplements can positively affect your hormones and can dramatically improve your blood pressure naturally, without any of the negative side-effects of drugs. Combined with a better diet and lifestyle, you’re good to go. This is why I formulated Blood Pressure Optimizer for dad and myself. It’s safe and works quickly because it utilizes clinically researched, natural ingredients such as: Grape Seed Extract English Hawthorne Berry Extract Celery Seed Extract Pomegranate Extract Lycopene Extract Try Blood Pressure Optimizer™ … Click here for a natural solution: ►http://drsam.co/yt/LowerYourBP ======================================== Thank you for watching. Consuming a tomato daily reduces the risk of developing hypertension, also known as high blood pressure. This is partially due to the impressive levels of potassium found in tomatoes. Potassium is a vasodilator, meaning that it reduces the tension in blood vessels and arteries, thereby increasing circulation and lowering the stress on the heart by eliminating hypertension. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9ArkrmtRuk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmoHPhRyzPA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llT7Lnm0ERs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPg2U3__zww https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SF3IFigEY0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEVhenSD5tQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvN-OI8-i-c https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujpnytC3IUA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFpO-YKBm8I https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5R8Cwm4lwY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hvp3KheDN4c https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ve1dWbU6Fdw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wpPo0Nzxas https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eh3exSva1RQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmOTAxE0C24 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1TG6TkOI9b8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDwLH2ZuTUI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6tH-yiDcN8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4L1qaRK8Ec https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDwLH2ZuTUI&t=2s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-A_uIXq-Yk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJr5vcqszZk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFK_94-T3e8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VKBjmjN3xw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-R-JocEZWo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuBM2ohARaM&t=3s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZXN_1DF_7Q https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KN70jrPtN9o https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PjKegoHAoA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Er_829_VMtU

Engelhard 2006 ======================================= 🍅 Lycopene Extract Can Lower Your Blood Pressure - CLINICAL STUDY! ======================================= If you want to lower your blood pressure, you can do so naturally. You don’t need medication. You don’t even have to change your diet or exercise either. One simple way to lower your blood pressure is to use a specific form of Lycopene Extract, which is a powerful antioxidant found in red produce such as tomatoes and tomato products, watermelon, and pink grapefruit. Studies have shown Lycopene has a very beneficial effect for human health, by being able to help lower blood pressure. It’s also a very powerful antioxidants, by preventing damage done by free radicals, especially to your arteries and blood vessels. Not to mention, you'd also have to eat many pounds of tomatoes daily, to absorb the required amount of Lycopene that's clinically proven to lower blood pressure. Now, the clinical study has shown that about 35 mgs daily of 5% Lycopene Extract, is what’s required to safely lower blood pressure. Making It Work Better However, there’s a special way to make Lycopene Extract work 3x better and that’s to combine it with 4 other specific food “extracts” that are clinically proven to lower your blood pressure naturally. In fact, this is the same formula my own dad uses to lower his blood pressure. I’ve made another video about this topic and you can access this private video by clicking the link below in the description area. Please watch it now, while it’s fresh on your mind and then let me know how much this special formula has lowered your blood pressure. ======================================== Thank you for watching. #1 Tomatoes provide vitamin C, lycopene, and alpha- and beta-carotene. Interestingly, cooking may actually increase the health benefits of this lush fruit because although cooked tomatoes have less vitamin C, their lycopene content is more available. #2 Apples are high in vitamin C and dietary fiber (a medium apple has 4 grams of fiber). According to the researchers from Harvard University, for every 10 grams of fiber you consume, your risk for coronary heart disease drops by approximately 14%, plus, fruit fiber was found to be especially protective. #3 The polyphenols in grapes can help to protect you from heart disease by suppressing the process of atherosclerosis, a type of heart disease resulting in the buildup of low-density lipoprotein in artery walls. This condition can cause a stroke or a heart attack. #4 Oatmeal is high in soluble fiber, that can lower total and LDL cholesterol because it acts as a sponge in the digestive tract and absorbs the cholesterol which is then eliminated from the body. #5 Red cabbage protects against heart disease, largely due to its high concentration of beta-carotene, resveratrol, and vitamin C. According to a study conducted by the Department of Epidemiology at Harvard School of Public Health, one serving a day of vegetables and fruits, especially those that are high in vitamin C, like cruciferous vegetables, results in a 4% lower risk of coronary heart disease. #6 Bananas have one of the highest potassium contents available. Low potassium levels are associated with a risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, stroke, cancer, arthritis, infertility, and digestive disorders. #7 Oranges have the cholesterol-fighting fiber pectin. They are also a good source of potassium, that helps control blood pressure. In one recent study, 2 oranges per day boosted blood vessel health as well as it lowered blood pressure in men. #8 Cantaloupe may prove useful in the treatment of different forms of heart disease because of its anti-inflammatory abilities. Heart disease, including atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), is usually attributed to high levels of inflammation as one of the leading causes. #9 Mango contains a good amount of potassium which increases the fluid level. In addition, the high levels of fiber and vitamin C in mangoes help to lower serum cholesterol levels, specifically Low-Density Lipoprotein. #10 Flaxseeds contain omega-3 fatty acids (the best source), pectins, and dietary fiber to boost heart health. You can take them in milled or ground form to reap the greatest benefit. #11 The potassium, fiber, vitamin C, and B6 found in kale support heart health. An increase in potassium intake along with a decrease in salt (due to its sodium content) intake is the most important dietary change that sufferers of a cardiovascular disease can make to improve their health. #12 Garlic seems to reduce LDL and total cholesterol, especially in people who have high cholesterol. However, HDL cholesterol and triglycerides do not seem to be affected. #13 Walnuts are a good source of omega-3 fats which are beneficial for the heart, particularly when you use these monounsaturated fats in place of trans- and saturated fats. Thus, you raise your “good” HDL cholesterol and cut your “bad” LDL cholesterol. #14 Asparagus boasts two nutrients which help lower LDL blood cholesterol - saponins (nutrients that stop the digestive tract from absorbing cholesterol) and soluble fiber. Asparagus also contains potassium, which helps regulate blood pressure, and vitamin K, that can help with blood clotting. #15 Black beans are packed with heart-healthy nutrients, such as folate (vitamin B9), antioxidants, and magnesium. Additionally, their dietary fiber content helps control both cholesterol and blood sugar levels. Thank you. This was our video with healthy foods for your heart or a heart healthy diet. HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE Diet http://bit.ly/2zBsuX4: Eat This BEST FOOD That Will Lower YOUR High Blood Pressure http://bit.ly/2gH0e1y. By starting a few new food habits, including counting calories and watching portion sizes, you may be able to lower your blood pressure and reduce the medications you need to control high blood pressure http://bit.ly/2yNrEJK. Here's how. Track What You Eat http://bit.ly/2xkJQGX Some people are not aware of how many calories they eat and drink each day. They may underestimate how much they eat and wonder why they can’t lose weight. Writing down the foods you eat, including the portion sizes, can let you see the truth about your food intake. You can then start cutting back -- reducing calories and portions -- to lose weight and manage your blood pressure. http://bit.ly/2yMfsaa Avoid Salt (Sodium) A high-sodium diet increases blood pressure in many people. In fact, the less sodium you eat, the better blood pressure control you might have. To lower the sodium in your diet http://bit.ly/2gz074q, try these suggestions: Use a food diary to keep track of the salt in the foods you eat. Aim for less than 2,300 milligrams (about 1 teaspoon of salt) each day. Ask your doctor if you should go lower, to 1,500 milligrams. Read the nutritional facts label on every food package. Select foods that have 5% or less of the “Daily Value” of sodium. Avoid foods that have 20% or more Daily Value of sodium. Avoid canned foods, processed foods, lunch meats, and fast foods. Use salt-free seasonings. Know What to Eat Potassium, magnesium, and fiber, on the other hand, may help control blood pressure. Fruits and vegetables are high in potassium, magnesium, and fiber, and they’re low in sodium. Stick to whole fruits and veggies. Juice is less helpful, because the fiber is removed. Also, nuts, seeds, legumes, lean meats, and poultry are good sources of magnesium. To increase the amounts of natural potassium, magnesium, and fiber you take in, select from the following: apples apricots bananas beet greens broccoli carrots collards green beans dates grapes green peas kale lima beans mangoes melons oranges peaches pineapples potatoes raisins spinach squash strawberries sweet potatoes tangerines tomatoes tuna yogurt (fat-free) What Is the DASH Diet? http://bit.ly/2h6AGIb Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) is an eating plan rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, fish, poultry, nuts, legumes, and low-fat dairy. These foods are high in key nutrients such as potassium, magnesium, calcium, fiber, and protein. Women who followed the DASH diet for several years reduced their risks of coronary artery disease http://bit.ly/2iAJzgM and stroke. To start the DASH diet, follow these recommendations (based on 2,000 calories a day): Grains: 7-8 daily servings (serving sizes: 1 slice of bread, 1/2 cup cooked rice or pasta, 1 ounce dry cereal) Vegetables: 4-5 daily servings (1 cup raw leafy greens, 1/2 cup cooked vegetable) Fruits: 4-5 daily servings (1 medium fruit, 1/2 cup fresh or frozen fruit, 1/4 cup dried fruit, 6 ounces fruit juice) Low-fat or fat-free dairy products: 2-3 daily servings (8 ounces milk, 1 cup yogurt, 1.5 ounces cheese) Lean meat, poultry, and fish: 2 or fewer servings a day (3 ounces cooked meat, poultry, or fish) Nuts, seeds, and legumes: 4-5 servings per week (1/3 cup nuts, 2 tablespoons seeds, 1/2 cup cooked dry beans or peas) Fats and oils: 2-3 daily servings (1 teaspoon vegetable oil or soft margarine, 1 tablespoon low-fat mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons light salad dressing) Sweets: less than 5 servings per week. (1 tablespoon sugar, jelly, or jam) Ask your doctor or a dietitian to help you start the DASH diet. They can tell you how many calories you need each day to maintain or get to a healthy weight. You can definitely reduce your risk of developing cardiovascular disease by eating certain foods every day. No single food is a cure-all heart disease, but certain foods have been shown to improve your heart health. here are some foods that may help lower your risk of heart disease. so lets begin, Chocolate. Researchers have discovered that eating moderate amounts of flavanol-rich dark chocolate has a blood-thinning effect, which can benefit cardiovascular health, and it may also boost the immune system by reducing inflammation. The Kuna people of the San Blas islands, off the coast of Panama, have a rate of heart disease that is nine times less than that of mainland Panamanians. The reason? The Kuna drink plenty of a beverage made with generous proportions of cocoa, which is unusually rich in flavanols that help preserve the healthy function of blood vessels. Maintaining youthful blood vessels lowers risk of high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, kidney disease and dementia. Raisins. Research has shown that antioxidants in raisins fight the growth of a type of bacteria that can cause inflammation and gum disease. People with gum disease—which affects up to 50 percent of American adults—are twice as likely to suffer from heart problems. So, dealing with one can help people avoid the other. Last summer, a major heart journal and a major periodontal journal simultaneously published a consensus paper that outlines the link between the two diseases: inflammation. As a result, choosing certain foods, such as raisins, may help you protect both your gums and your heart. Popcorn. Popcorn delivers polyphenols—antioxidants linked to improving heart health. Gram for gram, popcorn boasts three times more polyphenols than kidney beans and four times more than cranberries, according to recent research out of the University of Scranton. What’s more, popcorn is a whole grain—and people who eat plenty of whole grains tend to be leaner and have a lower risk of heart disease than those who don’t. Green Tea. Some of the strongest evidence of tea’s health benefits comes from studies of heart disease. Scientists have found that those who drink 12 ounces or more of tea a day are about half as likely to have a heart attack as nontea drinkers. Tomatoes. An excellent source of vitamin C, plus vitamin A, potassium and fiber, tomatoes are high in lycopene, which works with other vitamins and minerals to aid in disease prevention. Research suggests that the combination of nutrients in tomatoes may help prevent cardiovascular disease. Cooking may actually increase the health benefits of this lush fruit because although cooked tomatoes have less vitamin C, their lycopene is more available and antioxidant activity is undiminished by cooking.
