My mother stopped smoking around 15 years ago. I'm not sure when she started, but she smoked regularly for at least 3 years. In 2015- 3 years ago- she was diagnosed with cancer. The doctors caught it, but it spread throughout her body. What came next was a lot of surgery, and planning. The best thing to do nowadays is quit while you're ahead or find a healthier alternative.
P.S: I did finish the video and the only really viable point is that you need to eat healthy, but that's obvious and goes for anything.

One trick, if you smoke weed, you can wean your self off cigarettes, bye smoking weed when you have a craving. This really works. Once your stoped smoking cigarettes, stopping smoking weed, is much easier. You just gradually start weaning your self off of weed. Not hanging around other smokers, is also very helpful. Your brain, is very powerful, you can control your urges by controlling your brain. I HOPE THIS HELPS. thanks for all the information here but everyone also should get a hold of hydrogen peroxide b/c it has extra oxygen but get the 35 percent food grade though and only use one drop in distilled water each day for one month then upgrade it to two drops the next month then on the third month use three drops so your body gets use to drinking this each month will help majorly here !!!
I smoked for 27 1/2 years and a month later was diagnosed with copd and gets. Ten years later, I now have 4 breathing problems. I am on a nebulizer. Have to wear a mask when I go outside. It hurts big time to take a deep breath
WaysAndHow am back up to go deal with all this once again. I just turned 65 @ 15 medical conditions, 4 are incurable. Death does not scare me since I have a much better place waiting for me. Today's is my dad's birthday an the 6th one since I watched him die in 2013. Have already done my memorial since I am donating my body to science. Is on my YouTube channel. If I see someone smoking, I will pull out my inhaler. When I speak at recovery meetings, I make sure to warn the youth
I quite smoking the end of June 2018 found this and started mixing tea spoon of honey with my coffee. I consume two to three teaspoons every morning have not started coughing up nothing yet and it's been two weeks or close to it.
I had triple bypass surgery due to my arteries being clogged due to smoking. After the operation when I woke I had absolute no desire to smoke. I think it is all in your mind. Thank you for the advice. Though I'm no full blown smoker, I used to smoke weed with my "friends" and I was concerned with my cardiovascular health. Thankfully the damage has not been irreversible as far as I'm aware, and the day I told myself to quit smoking (my 16th birthday, 10 months ago) that was that. I feel blessed to think that when I quit I didn't have to experience any side effect or withdrawal symptoms from quitting, as a matter of fact I feel like the opposite happened, smoking made me feel depressed but now I feel 1000x better and I would not miss a chance to kick my old smoking buddies' asses for the world. I'm going to take that chapter of my growing up and use it as a reminder as to why developing good habits is so important and I'm going to emphasise that massively on my children, so that they never have to be so foolish themselves

I havent put a cigarete in my mouth for a week today.. I smoked between 15-25 cigarettes a day for 16 years and didnt quit once. I started when I was around 16-17 years old. My skin feels healthier already and I sleep better at night. But... I am cheating with swedish snus.. 1 pack lasted me almost the whole week. Im looking forward to how i will feel after 2-3 months. Im travelling for 3 weeks next month and im planning not to bring any snus with me. Im using it as a stepstone to quit smoking.
Smoker's lungs are NOT black. You can not look at a smoker's lungs and see that they are a smoker's lungs. You may think this is wrong but what we have all seen for generations is the picture in our 7th grade health book that showed 'normal' lungs next to dead cancerous lungs, the latter was black. If anything from smoking was clogging up or coloring the lungs you wouldn't be able to breathe. Think about it, 25 cigarette a day times 365 days times 40 years equals over 1/3 of a million cigarettes smoked plus tens of millions of breaths of second hand smoke.
My Journey. I Quit smoking for 2 years. The first month was hard. I used to eat little when I used to smoke. But when I quit I eat a lot. Like I have my dinner at 6PM and I will find something to munch or drink at 8&10 PM. I started spending my money more on food. And for first 3 weeks I had no urge to go to toilet. I eat a lot but I go to toilet very less. I refer to certain friends of mine and they said I should start exercising to cleanse my inner body. I started swimming and trekking. My sweat smells bad at the first week. (nicotine). I kept going. After a month I can really taste and recognize food taste. I kept going. After 6-8 months I use less alarms to wake in the morning. I feel confident to meet people and felt proud to say that I don't smoke. My mind thinks faster. I react faster. I don't feel lazy anymore. I live my life the right way. Its not easy to quit I know buy its never too late to quit
So much misinformation. Your lungs are coughing up tar because your lungs are trying to heal. Honey has nothing to do with it. Actually, there is no evidence to support this. Eat honey anyway, it's good for you.
I'm an idiot, I forgot to learn how o smoke! I forgot to learn how to hang around with people with bad habbits, I hanged around with kids only, I like to be treated as their all knowing elder brother or uncle! I just love being with kids!
I'm 78 and have smoked roll-ups for nearly 65 years,non stop .The last 10 years i have COPD and have to pace myself when I do anything physical...........Have had agood life and still enjoy undemanding hobbies"painting and building guitars",,and thoroughly enjoy my ciggie with a coffee or between courses at a dinner or pretty much every hour or so. I find its very good at relieving stress and helps when concentrating on a problem.....If I could live my life again,knowing what I know now..I would not smoke....but when I was a child everybody smoked ,,,Nurses gave a cigarette to wounded returning soldiers and it was far from frowned on.Sooooo......that's it.....just don't forget you're going to die.....at any age...no matter what........and with that thought nanight x Pete.
Over a year ago I quit because I was too damn lazy to go to the store. After a couple days, I just said to Hell with smoking. Was cleaning out the closet to donate some old coats and found a pack in my pocket. I'd probably still be smoking if I would've known about that pack.
WaysAndHow I did for 5 healthy years! Unfortunately everything is better with methadone. My lungs are hating me right now. This smoking habit won't last long. Occasionally weed smoking is enough for me.
