No one should have to prove anything to anyone. You lose weight by having self control, losing weight over time by exercising more and eating less (but including proteins and healthy fats to keep up nutrients and balance blood sugars. There's no magic trick. People want a magic pill . . there is none.

Thank you so much for sharing this! I've lost significant amounts of weight in the past and never ended up with loose skin. But I'm much older now - 42 😬 and I have a lot more to lose this time, 95- 100 lbs. It seems every time I've lost, I've gained back twice as much 😔. I'm getting started next week, after seeing my doc. I'm here now in preparation, to learn how to achieve the best results possible 😁. Prevention is the preferred route, over trying to find a solution to a problem after it's too late.
If you're young...….your skin will shrink nicely after you lose weight and you will not have loose skin. It's a different story if you're in you're late 30's or over 40 and lose a lot of weight. You will have some loose skin then. I lost a lot of weight when I was younger and didn't have loose skin but did have stretch marks. It took many years but those stretch marks disappeared which was nice, but again I was young at the time.
Hannah is a young women so of course she wouldn't have lose skin.
Everyone's Skin is different. Some people have stretchy skin and some don't and those are the ones that will have issues. It's like how some woman get stretch marks during pregnancy and some don't. There is no skill or knowledge, just luck.
i also hate when people say they *loose weight fast* , but only because i compare myself to them 😂 *but* out of all these people im the one *who HAS kept it ALL off* ive lost almost 40 pounds and i dont have loose skin yet

I weighed 250 pounds when I got pregnant with my son is Aug 2014, after having him and changing my diet I am now at 140 pounds, my stomach is still flabby though with excess skin :/ I'm going to try stomach exercises to see if it helps
Thanks for this!!!! I did keto diet and lost 20 pounds in a month. I did liked the results but i did noticed my skin was kind of loose. I took a little break but I'm still taking care of what I eat. Im still dropping weight slowly and working out.

This has to be true bc it’s taken me almost 10 months to lose 50 lbs and I thought I was goin crazy but I notice how my stomach looks so tight for how big it was. I carried most my weight in my back and stomach and my back has barely any fat at all. And no saggy skin. Wild. 😂

you are a very beautifull girl and i really glad for your change . its good that you advocate carbs and not fat for wheight loss carbs is the explosive energy we need in life and not fat which we have in the body allready . lot of people eat too much fat without know it
i followed your advice to put a pure oil on as moisturiser after showers and now I'm allergic and break out to every natural oil :( so to anyone else watching this vid don't go all out with the oils use them sparingly if u dont wanna risk a reaction
I've lost over 30 pounds this year but unfortunately noticing some possible loose skin under my belly button. FYI, it is somewhat wrinkly looking. But I think there's hope. Last week my diet was solid on extra veggies and protein... And I noticed the wrinkles flatten a good amount. Your video inspired me to just chill out now, I've lost plenty so far. The final 20 pounds to lose, I will take it slower with more veggies. I'm pretty content where I am now anyway
I've lost 100lbs and have almost no loose skin too. Just a steady process over several years. The best body transformation results come from people with the patience to be in it for the long haul, not those wanting instant results and expect to redress years of bad habits over the course of a few months. That and getting lucky with genetics + how your fat is distributed over your body :)

Slow. steady weight loss give the body time to react to the changes. It also allows the person to incorporate the dietary changes necessary to make a change that will last for ever. Quick weight loss most often results in yo-yo dieting, and with each diet, the body add on a bit more weight.
Age and genetics can also play a part in look of skin after weight loss.
I lost 50lbs in one year and I have some loose skin and still some more fat on my stomach. It is so hard to tone. I work at losing and toning almost every day. I hope to one day not have loose skin anymore. I am very proud of how far I've come since my weight loss, though I wish to be skinnier and have no loose skin. I have not really lost much more weight, which makes me think this is my ideal weight, but the skin just will not tone up.
Well its too late for me I guess...I lost weight fast, about 100 pounds then gained half the weight back over 2 years. So I'm stuck with the loose skin whether I like it or not..nothing can fix it except surgery...

I lost 90 pounds and had lots of loose skin. I think the reason for that was because I lost it too quickly. I lost it in 5 months. You are absolutely right if I lost it slowly then I would have not have loose skin.
Your on point! I've had 2 kids and when I lost weight quickly I had loose skin with my first born. My second pregnancy I didn't have loose skin because I lost it slowly. So worth it to NOT lose weight fast. 💕

There is a lot of things people do not know about loose skin, tbh it isn't as simple as just lose it slowly, genetics, how heavy you are to begin with, your age, what you eat, and a few other factors can determine it. My mother lost a HUGE amount of weight in a year and hardly has loose skin, my best friend lost only 30 in a year and two months and has some.
It all depends on what type of skin you have, genetic and your age. A young person recovers more easily because it produces more collagen. An older person is more difficult. I have seen elderly people who have lost weight slowly and as they need surgery, but also young people who exercise and have a healthy diet. Not all cases are the same.

Unfortunately I didn’t start regular exercise until I was at the 35 point so I’ve got loose skin. But I’m 26 and hoping that being young and exercising now will help me tone it up. Your video reminded me to be patient with myself! Results don’t happen over night. I look at the scale and mirror way too often.

great video! I'm just about to start a healthier lifestyle. I have maybe 80-90 lbs to say goodbye to. just a question did you take any supplements? like a collagen supplement or anything? are they a waste of money. or is just a healthy diet and exercise is enough. taking it slow.
Loseing weight slowly is better for you gives your body chance to adjust and your skin chance to shrink some what. Plus you are makeing habbit that your body will adjust to easy. Just need to adjust your eating portion try to 20 mins to eat and drink hot tea unsweeten when you are eating just a cup. If you want cold drink you can but least 10 to 15 mins before you eat. Cut back on surgar and creamer.
Look at what you ate eating what the ingredients are in it. No soda , sweet tea ect drink water instead or unsweeten tea.
Eat lots of bitter greens, pickles , celery, cabbage. Fruit is ok but not a lot because the surgar, and fruit juices look at how much surgar is in juices matter fact in check in all the food most low calories foods have a lot of surgar or hydrogenated or oils. To cover how yukki the food is. Just adjust portion size and take 20 min to eat thats how long it takes for your brain to let you know you are full. If you cut back on to much your hair, skin, ect your body will take the energy from that first. Just walking you dont need to do a lot really I like to use this exercise lol water in a bottle and just shaking it.
you can do that any where any place, yoga ball, can do lean on kitchen counter wat not do push ups and squats , use a towel you just grip and pull or twist, can be dry or wet. All low impact
on you joints.

there is also a genetic reason too. some people just have the amazing gene that will prevent or minimize loose skin... so far i have lost 30 lbs in a little under two months and do not have loose skin so i think i may have a genetic goldmine for that lol.
it depends also how fast ppl loose weight. the slower a person looses weight, the best for the skin. it has time to adjust. with fast diets skin just cant adjust so fast. no crash diets ppl. take it slow and you skin is better. but i still will have my strias.. they do not go away, stretch marks remain
also important to eat fats and everything else. too healthy diet is not good:D

So nervous, I have weight to lose and I am really excited that I have started to get into fitness but I don't want to take two years to lose it but I obviously don't want loose skin too 🙄 trying to find a happy medium!
Not saying Hannah is wrong but I once lost 86 lbs. slowly and I still got sagging skin on my hips and thighs. It took me 2 or 3 years to lose it. Weird? Shrugs. I guess everyone's different... I think the losing it too fast slow thing is a myth. But this is just a theory I had. When I was a teen I lost 70 lbs. fast and I didn't have any sagging skin, zero saggy skin. Maybe yo-yo dieting caused me to have the loose skin. I don't know.
I appreciate the fact that so much that you lost weight slowly!! I have been at this for over a year and I have lost around 33 pounds and I always feel like crap because everyone is losing SOO fast and I'm dragging along. I am working out, eating healthy, drinking water, ect. Knowing someone else lost slowly makes me feel so much better.
