any vitamin C in sweet potatoes is loss in the cooking stage and as Ariel said fructose is only a problem when eaten without fibers found in whole fruit,if nature wanted you to take 2 Lt and day of OJ then I'm sure it would come in little orange balls, try eating 12 of them a day.But apart from anything else your body regulate your max on VC anything over that and you have very expensive shit
And what about diet high in fructose causing ectopic lipid deposition or insulin resistance? I think eating too much fructose every day for longer periods of time is not a good idea. Fructose can be consumed in smaller amounts to get these benefits don't need to over do it, moderation is key.

I think the main distinction you should mention is that fructose is not bad so long as it's in it's natural state(ie: with fruit). Isolated fructose without the phytonutrients, antioxidants, fiber and other co-factors is a problem. Thoughts?
fructose isn't a problem when consumed in fruits. Due to the fact that fruits has fibers in them and other wonderful things such as vitamins
It only becomes a problem in industrialize products that takes all the beneficial substances out and leave you with the pure sugar
